4.0 Pours an opaque dark brown color with khaki colored head. Roasted malts, chocolate, oats, and some light coffee notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Full bodied, yet smooth. Finishes with chocolate and roast.
3.7 Black color with mocha head. Aroma has dark fruits, mostly figs, brown sugar and sweet malt. Taste is really well balanced. First you get the rich malt, followed by a roasty bitterness. Body is not heavy but feels really smooth. Overall it’s a tasty, easy drinking stout with a nice mouthfeel.
3.9 Bottle in Las Vegas. Black pour. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate. Flavor is quite bitter, slightly sweet and with bread. Thick body.
3.8 Fantastic, well balanced stout! Pours black w/ a good mocha head that leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is rich w/ a nice mix of chocolate sweetness & roasted notes. The taste is slightly bitter dark chocolate & finishes on the sweeter side. It’s complex & tasty! Well done!

3.7 From a bomber, a gift from my nephew. I’ll call it dark brown, beige head fades to a ring, no lacing to speak of. Aroma is ash, coffee, roasted malt. Flavor is bitter chocolate and coffee with a mildly bitter finish. I didn’t get a vanilla flavor or scent. (They must have forgot to put it in my bottle.) I wouldn’t call it a sweet stout, I’d call it a damn good stout! I need to go back to Oregon!
