Asian Pale Ale is a light and refreshing ale. It has generous amounts of lemongrass, added late in the brewing process to ensure that we capture its light, crisp and tangy aromas. This beer work well as a thirst quenching beverage, as well as paired with asian food, salads and light meat dishes. We recommend to pour cautiously to leave the natural sediments behind. Recommended serving temperature 8 deg C / 47 deg F. Ingredients: Malted barley, malted wheat, hops, lemongrass, English ale yeast and our local Grimstad water.

3.1 0,33l bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with small white head. Lemon peel, floral aromas. Bit light on the palate, but crisp and refreshing pale ale.

3.5 Bottle from de Caigny in Essen, Belgium. The beer is hazy yellow to golden colored and has a large and stable white head, with good carbonation. The aroma is malty and fruity, with notes of caramel malts, grass, yeast, citrus, lemongrass and a hint of spices. The taste is light to medium bodied with a light sweetness with notes of honey and caramel and goes to fruity with notes of citrus, grass, fresh hops and lemongrass. The finish is refreshingly dry, light bitter and a little watery.

3.6 Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is fruity, lemongrass. And flavour is lemongrass, fruity, citrus, medium bitter. These brewers almost always know their stuff and this beer is no exception.

3.2 Hazy brown colour with white lacing. Light hoppy aroma with some lemongrass. Taste has light hops, light malts, finish has some spice. Smooth mouhfeel, low medium body, medium carbonation. Ok but quite light.

3.0 Clour is clear, golden yellow. Aroma is sweet with lemon peel. Taste is slightly bitter, some grapefruit and pineapple. Slightly creamy.

3.2 Medium white head. Hazy coppery still body. Fruity spicy dusty lemongrass aroma with lime notes. Dry spicy lemongrass taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry mealy lemongrass aftertaste with biscuit and sandalwood notes. Nice, drinkable, perhaps a little light and flavourless. (0.5l can from Meny Strømmen. Batch #1736.)

3.6 Canned, as a gift from Norway. Pours clear golden with long lasting head. Strong citrus and balm aroma with citrusy taste. Light bodied, softly carbonated with short finish. Nice session-like pale ale.

3.3 Blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are light and hoppy. Touches of citrus. Only a light bitterness.

3.5 Boks kjøpt på Kiwi i Hamna. Aroma lime, humle, sitrus. Utseende uklar gylden med hvit skum som daler fort. Smak lime, gress, sitrus, appelsin. Noe søtlig og lett fyldig øl med godt balansert bitterhet

3.0 Can. Almost transcluent medium yellow. Pale malts and lemongrass with some citrus. Lemongrass and malt in a nice balance, some grass, citrus and spruce if i’m not mistaken. Kind of grainy and strange palate, possibly due to the lemongrass. Overall not bad but I’m unsure whether to call this a pale ale or herbal or what.

3.4 I really liked this Asian Pale Ale. Nice texture and a great refreshing beer with some nice and remarkable aroma’s.

3.5 50cl Bottle from Sterk. Hazy golden amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of cookie dough, caramel, old malts (BB date turned out to be 12-2016), light citrusy, some lemongrass. Flavour is strong on lemongrass, bordering on soapy, light malty, citrus, some caramel, decent bitter finish. Light bodied. Nice.

3.2 Can shared with Kermis. Poured a hazy medium amber with frothy white head. The aroma is lemon lime citrus, yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big citrus fruit, grassy hop pine needle yeast, light spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

4.0 50cl bottle at home. Pale orange with a medium white head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Subtle bitter and sweet tones. Citrus, herbs, sugar, lemongrass and yeast. Very nice.

3.4 Burk 0,5 liter (COOP Oslo). Oklar gul-orange med ett vitt skum. Intensiva dofter och smaker av citrongräs. I smaken också peppar, gräs och örter. I doften också gräs och frukt. Funkar förvånansvärt bra.

Cool hoppy zip really extrapolates the best out of the lemongrass character of this. Salmon maki, shaved ginger and some spicy rice. Hit me.
