3.2 50 cl bottle, batch #1356. Old friend revisited, had my first one several years ago, now it’s time for a rating... Light golden yellow, slightly hazy, lively, rolling carbonation in the glass, one-finger off-white head. Aroma is floral, tropical, bready with a slight hint of citrus. Taste give a short sting from the bittering hops, but the bitterness is quite moderate (30 IBU), so I don’t consider this to be an ESB. Flavour is light and refreshing, some citrus, and I think I can get that EKG hop taste in the back end of the aftertaste.
3.1 Bottle @ home. Hazy orange colored liquid with massive white head. Taste and aroma of flowers, orange marmalade, citrus hints, toffee, hay, nuts and biscuits. Medium bodied with high carbonation and dry bitter finish.
2.3 Slightly cloudy appearance and a rich yellow colour. It has a very herbal/floral hop aroma with some orange peel, grass and light citrus. Nutty flavour which probably comes from Marris Otter with the East Kent Golding hops giving it the quintessentially English taste with a tea like bitterness in the finish.
3.1 500ml, bottle-conditioned. Pours almost clear gold, reasonable head, diminishing. Aroma/taste: citric and herbal hop. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Light effervescent mouthfeel with short finish. Overall: competent.
3.5 Bottle. Amber color with lacing white head. Aroma has citrus, hay, floral hops. Taste is malty with quite bitter and dry finish. Flavors of malt, citrus, hay and some light vanilla.
2.9 Converting" from old excel scoresheet. So there are no comments on this beer.
3.6 From bottle on board Fridtjofen 13.07.15. Slightly hazy golden. White head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of grass, succade and lemon and lime marmelade. Very refreshing!
2.9 Alors oui, c’est bitter comme ils disent ... Amertume assez serrée et pas trop à mon goût . Bière assez sèche ...
2.7 Ok øl, men flat og litt kjedelig smak. Lettdrukket. Kan like gjerne kjøpe en Tuborg mtp prisen.
3.2 Bottle at home, 5 years after expiration date on the bottle (brewed 2008, exp. 2010). Poured a clear honey amber with a slight head. Aromas of honey with floral notes. Tastes lightly sweet and medium bitter. Had a slightly sticky palate and soft carbonation. This was actually pretty good still!
3.2 Bottle at home. Pours golden amber, nose is grassy, floral, toffee, taste is similar.
3.4 Bottle from Meilby - many thanks! The beer has got a clear golden-amber colour with a big, big steady head (like beaten egg white) and medium body. Aroma of bread, hops and barley. Taste of mild hops, bread, mild citrus fruits, vanilla, flowers and biscuits. Easy drinkable with a well-balanced bitter finish. Nice one.
3.3 How: Bottle Appearance: hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma: floral, hops, citrus, spice. Palate: medium body, fizzy carbonation.
3.7 the aroma is malty and fruity with hints of flowers... the taste is light and refreshening, malty with some shades of garden fruits, candy and spices... aftertaste is dry and bitter...
3.4 Foggy orange with small head. Aroma is hoppy bitter, malty, fruits. Taste is bitter with crisp co2, rather fresh really. Not my favorite style but okay and refreshing.
3.6 Troebele geeloranje kleur met een volle blijvende kraag. Ruikt fruitig, banaan, citrus. Beetje weissbier achtig. Smaakt bitterzoet, fruitig, hop, citrus, banaan. Wel een goede bittere afdronk.
3.5 50cl bottle. Pale hazy golden with a fluffy, slightly off white head. Smells of sweet malts with some floral and herbaceous note. Taste is malts, some citrus, hops. Dry bitter finish.
2.8 Lett uklar farge. Lite hint av karamell i duften. Lett og kort smak. Kjedelig helhetsinntrykk.
3.3 hoppy aroma, fruits, pine with some caramel; dark golden with big and strong white foam; medium(+) bitterness, light(+) sweetness; medium body, quite thick feel, average carbonation, long bitter finish; Overall: quite brutal and one-dimensional but tasty
2.5 50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of skunked hops, sweet green peas, hint of earth. Flavour is medium-sweet, green peas, earth, sweet liquorice root, some hops. Light-bodied. Really disappointing, way below Nogne standards. And way too expensive for what it is.
2.7 Very light amber in appearance. Thick white head which quickly collapses. Not bitter at all. Faint citrus notes. Slightly too much carbonation.
3.0 Bottled. Overall I expected more malt than hops from this beer. The aroma is nice bitter beer like. Color hazy yellow to light brown. Hops dominates this beer in taste and finish. For me I would really love to taste this beer less hoppy and more malty. Due to its hoppy character this beer reminds too much of an American IPA.
3.9 Bottle from Bottle Park, Bratislava. Unclear amber orange color with thick stable off-white head. Yeasty, hoppy aroma. Solid malty backbone with nice portion of hops with oranges, orange zest. Centennial is hidden in this beer. Nice long hoppy bitter finish. On tap it could be even better. Tasty beer.
3.8 500 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a small creamy white head. Aroma is grassy and hoppy.Taste is delightful with spicy hops and biscuits Refreshing.
3.4 Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of needles and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with grassy notes. Lively carbonation. Rough and bitter finish. Nice.
3.7 Orangegelbes Bier mit mittelmäßiger Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig, hopfig, würzig. Geschmack ist fruchtig bitter, trocken malzig.
3.5 Very good example of a bitter. Aroma of grass with a little bread, little sweetness with decent medium bitterness. Beautiful hazy golden beer with huge frothy big bubbled head.
3.1 Bottle 50 cl. Clear light orange, with a big white, quite lasting, head. Medium malt, rather heavy hops, some citrus and a distinct yeasty aroma. Mildly sweet, with a long lasting bitter taste. Good, but a bit less than expected. Music: The Donnas – Get Rid of that Girl
3.2 Bottle 0.5l from Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, Helsinki. Originally rated 19082011. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, sweetness, caramel and malts.
