3.7 Bomber. Caramel brown and opaque with a tan head. Visually this could pass for a brown. A pleasant aroma of citrus and floral with passion fruit. The flavor brings those out and bitterness is a bit above moderate. Lime is tasted and it brings a unique element. There is a heavy dose of caramel but the fruit is in charge. Some mint and spice. This is borderline imperial and perhaps should be in that category. The finish was a little hot but it was also flavorful and had a bit of an attitude.
3.1 4oz pour at Churchkey’s Nogne O Tap Takeover. Pours a clear, burnt orange with some cream colored head. Smells like homebrew, heavy citrus peel, dusty, musty, tangerine, some grapefruit pulp. Flavor is similar, lightly sweet, lightly tart, musty, grassy, orange, grapefruit, a little curry powder. Creamy and astringent finish. Yes, both creamy and astringent. Very odd. Reminds me too much of average home brew.
3.8 Draft at Churchkey for a meet the brewer event. Poured a cloudy dark orange color with a small white head. Aroma was some nice citrus orange notes with some light toasted malts. Flavor was some light malt notes, with touches of citrus hops. Juicy.
3.4 500ml bottle, from Dutch’s. Poured into my DFH IPA glass. Pours a mostly clear red orange amber color, pretty dark. Very big khaki head that just sort of stays put for a bit, be sure to pour this one slowly. Fades to a thin reasonable after about ten minutes. Leaves plenty, thicker lace. Lots of chunky dark particles in the final pour. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of slick. Initially, the nose is kind of offputting, caramel malt, and it’s kind of sweet up front. But the flavor is pretty interesting. Dark fruity, juicy, some tangerine juice comes through. Kind of spicy. Get some of the kaffier lime. It’s a cool, interesting combo but is more a fruit beer than an IPA. I’d like to see a little more hop taste and aromatics, not much of that here. Maybe some spicy earthy hop character. No date on the bottles, of course. Interesting, tasty stuff, though, if looked at as a sort of hoppy strong ale with fruit. A lot of sweet maltiness holds it back for me.
3.8 Botella de 50cl. ..un poco flojo este lúpulo pero muy bien balanceada. ....para repetir! !!!

3.9 (backlog Mondial de la bière, Mulhouse 09/2013). Bitter mandarine rind, nice mellow near-biscuit malt body. Slight pine, lime and grapefruit rind. Delicate and delicious, alas with an unsessionable price tag.

2.7 On tap at In de Wildeman. Murky brown gold pour with thin white head. Very perfumey aroma, pinesol, cleaning products, grassy hops, very citrusy. Taste is muddled, yeasty, citrusy, soapy flavors, piney resinous finish. Palate is quite dry, medium body. Off.

3.6 On tap at Beer Temple. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of soap, lime, some Brett, citrus, it’s a bit like a used urinal on a hot day. Flavour is mostly citrus, rye bitterness, fruits, sweet lime, decent bitter hoppy finish, floral and creamy, also a bit soapy. Medium-bodied. Nice enough.
4.2 Very fruity and hoppy IPA. Has a special and original mixture of different and unusual fruits. Great beer.
1.8 Bottle from proof. Bottle date 5/06/13. Pours muddy cloudy brown strong off white head. After I poured and looked at the body a bunch of yeast floaties became present. Kinda gross looking and not expecting it in an IPA. Leafy hop aroma huge yeast. Toasted malts leafy hops and an abundance of yeast. Not liking this. Might be a bad bottle but this is just plain not good. If I find another batch I might try again.
3.0 Thanks to stevencon! Bunch turds floating around in this one. Aroma of lime zest, bitter grapefruit, satsumas with a caramel malt background. Flavor is pretty similar with a bitter citrus rind finish. Medium bodied and mild carbonation. Hmmmmm.
