3.5 Flat medium amber with small fully diminishing head. Nice combination of medium body and hops. Not too much of fruits for my taste. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is average. Ok.
3.1 Dark copper beer with good head. Nice tones of citrus hops and caramel tones from the malt. A little too much caramel for me, and a little to sweet in the finish
3.5 From old notes. From cask at Copenhagen Olfestival 2012. Light hazy golden orange color with white head. Hoppy and malty aroma, citrusy fruity, orange and peach, caramel. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with flat to soft carbonation.
3.4 On tap @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours slightly hazy golden, with a small creamy head. Aroma is sweet citrusy hops, with orange peel, apricots and spicy notes, as well as notes of sweet malts. Creamy body, with very soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet citrusy hops, with oranges and herbal notes, as well as notes of light roasted malts. Lingering bitter finish.
3.2 Tap at Pudel in Tallinn. Did not take much notes but I remember it being a rather dull brew (well, perhaps in the context of the much more exciting stuff I had that evening) - it’s got a proper malt body (sweet and biscuity, slightly caramelly), and a pretty nice hoppy kick (grapefruity, grassy). The malts seemed to overpower the Citra unfortunately. Full, aromatic, rather tasty, but also kind of forgettable. I see myself definitely enjoying this on some occasions though. A good no-gimmicks un-snobbish conversation beer.
3.2 Tap. Slightly hazy orange beer, white head. Nose is biscuity malt, grapefruity, citric notes. Flavor is a strong biscuity malt backbone, grapefruit, hops. Firmly bitter finish, grapefruit. Lingering malts and hops. Hops lack depth, might be slightly old.
4.0 220515. Tap at Nordic, Tampere. Pours almost clear copper with a small head. Aroma citrus, floral notes. Slightly sweet bitter body. Very well balanced. Not Bad.
2.8 On tap @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, caramel, bread. Some sweetness, bitter finish. Slightly boring.
3.6 Tap at Pudel, Tallinn. Pours amber with off-white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, citrus, grapefruit, malt. Flavor is sweet, citrus, malt, biscuits. Finish is long grapefruit bitter. Overall: nice brew.
3.2 Tap at pudel, tallinn. Amber color, white head. Aroma has fresh hoppy notes, hint of mint, malts. Malty base, fresh hoppy taste, sweet notes.
3.9 Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours copper amber, nose is orange, grapefruit, taste is juicy fruit, bitter.
3.1 Draft @ Kaschk in Berlin Appearance: Copper, small white head Aroma: Tropical fruit, grapefruit, caramel Taste: Tropical fruits, grapefruit, passion fruit, fair amount of caramel Palate: Medium body, lingers just enough
3.3 The head is ok, the body orange. It smells malty hoppy, bit citra, The taste is bit creamy, hoppy, less citrus, might got a bit old. But still nice and tasty.
3.1 Draught. Lemon honey with no head. Aroma is standard citra. Flavour is light bready, nice fruity background, easy bread base. Not bitter at all, pleasant.
3.3 Tap, Elefun, Bergen, 27/10/14. Murky orange with a low white collar becoming a halo. Aroma of peach iced tea, slight hairy leaf, cedar. Very Cali with more honey-dripped peach, toffee and pine. As with the previous rater I found little in the way of Citra character. Disappointing.
3.3 More berries than citrus... good mediumsweet body... lacking citra character?
3.2 Copper color, off-white head. Caramel nose, citrus, fruity notes, brown sugar. Fruity taste, caramel, earthy, sweet malty. Medium body, soft carbonation.
3.6 Tap at Ølhus Copenhagen, Helsinki. Hazy orange shade. Little head but good lacing. Nice hoppy aroma which shows a floral side. Taste is on the fruitier side but without the identifiable peach or tropical notes I might look for. Classy and well constructed but a little lacking in character.
3.5 tap @ Ølhus Kobenhavn, Helsinki Quite clear amber orange beer. Aroma and flavor have resin, grapefruit and tropical fruits. Flavor is also intensively bitter. Medium full palate with quite strong carbonation. Strong bitterness on the finish. Aftertastes of grapefruit, resin, pineapple juice, orange zest and slight sweetness. Overall quite dry but well balanced and quite refreshing.
3.5 Tap@ølhus cph. Coppery hazy. Citrus caramelly clean nose. Grapefruit lemon, light toffee. Med bodied, well balanced bitters. Grapefruit caramels, pretty much as the nose. A bit sweet nice clean ipa. Very nøgne. Nice, as usual. -- bb
3.1 Duft av citrus, karamell, røyk og lyng. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tynt lag skum, heng langs kant. Søtilg smak av frukter, karamell og en anelse sitrus.
3.4 Hazy caramel with frothy white head. Aroma is citrus, soap, green hops and peach. Palate is fruity. Aftertaste is bitter, slick, sticky and fruity. Overall: very nice. Well made, but bland.
3.6 On tap in BeerCab. Color cloudy orange. Small head. Citrus and fruits like apricot in aroma. High bitterness, well-balanced. Caramel and ctirus in taste. Medium-high body.
3.5 On tap at the BeerTemple. Clear copper pour with thin white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, nice pungent citra. Taste is fruity, nice citra flavor, light bitterness, a tad sweet . Palate is med bodied with light-med carbonation. Good.
3.4 Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light grassy hop. The flavour is light bitter with a woody resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice but needs more Citra :-)
3.3 Fat. Härlig frisk doft av citrustoner. Fina smaker av citra som verkar vara det som bär denna öl. Bra efterbeska men ölen känns som den saknar något för att komma upp i några höjdarpoäng.
3.7 Pours cloudy orange with a fairly wihite medium head. Aromas of peach, apricot, caramel, honey, citrus. Taste is apricot, peach, melon, slight grapefruit. Mouthfeel is creamy with medium carbonation.
3.7 Pours amber low white head Aromas of peach, apricots, caramel, water melons Taste has a caramel backbone that slightly reduces the hoppyness of the citra. I would like more citrusy hops but otherwise nice
3.3 Ducken på Luxxeriet Växjö. Trevlig citra öl. Ibland balkar single citra ur å ibland blir de kanon. Som mikkeler imoerial citra FANTASTISK. Denna tillhör de bättre single hop Ale.
3.9 Great IPA. Body of malt, with a caramel touch. Taste of citra hop of course, deliciously fruity and bitter. Balanced and tasty.
