Tindved is a sour Norwegian ale brewed with Norwegian malted barley and raw wheat. We added juice from pressed sea buckthorn to obtain the brash sourness. Nøgne Ø ales are unfiltered and unpasteurized so pour carefully if you want to leave the natural yeast in the bottom of the bottle.

3.9 Кислый эль. Характерный сладковато-кислый вкус. Приятный фруктовый аромат. Во вкусе присутствуют фрукты.
3.5 Bottle, batch #774. Aroma is apple, green apple, green fruits, white wine, green berries, lemon, lemon zest. Golden orange, hazy, small white head. Light sweetness, medium bitter, light sour, taste is green apple, metallic, fresh grain. Medium body, soft carbonation, medium long tart and sour finish. Interesting beer.
3.0 Sample at Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Aroma had something like paint, fruit, hay. Misty golden beer, white head. Taste had sourness, but again the paint, some bread.
3.3 Denne smaker faktisk som en øl. Smaken av tindved komplementerer ølsmaken med en fin balanse. Denne passer fint til en god dessert. Kan være kraftig carbonert.
3.4 Bottle. Pours a golden body with a small White top. Aroma is fruity and light sourish. Stables and Hay. Taste is fruity with hints of red berries and farmhouse. Light body and avg co2.
2.2 Bottle. Slight gush. Lightly hazy golden orange, half-finger white head. Nose is...criminy, this is a citrus baby diaper. There’s some astringent fruit in there if you look hard enough, but there’s a definite fecal aroma. Ugh. Taste is much milder, but that’s about all I can say about this one. Nogne seems to have really locked down their wild/brett stuff lately, and this bottle is a little older, so take that for what it’s worth.
3.1 Very diferent. Fizzy. Brett. Austere. Not my thing. Harsh. No love. Really. Sorry. Hmmmmm
3.1 Bottle at home... Golden amber... Small white head... Funky barnyard... Soft fruits nose... Light fizz fruits.. Soft funk barnyard fruits... Soft brett funk
3.8 (bottle - 330 ml) Hazy orange with a puffy white head. Huge sour and dank aroma with a bit of rye dryness. Flavor is nice and sour with some light fruit, maybe the buckthorn but I have no idea what that is, and a dry rye finish with some lingering sourness. [9/8/15]
3.7 Bottle Aroma-barnyard, vinegar Appearance-orange, hazy, white foam, Taste-medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, Palate-medium body, sticky, average carbonation, long finish, Overall-very drinkable
3.2 Aroma of apple, cider, vinegar and some wood which I guess is oak from the casks. Not super sour by any means to taste but quite dry and also some apple and cider on the tongue.
3.3 Bottle on board Fridtjofen 02.08.15. Clody, pale orange. Diminishing, off-white head. Fruity aroma, with brett and ammonia. Similar taste, with moderate acidity. Well-balanced. Long and tarty aftertaste,
4.2 250ml bottle from Vinmonopolet - aroma is sour with a fruity tang to it. It’s probably the sea buckthorn, but i get tons of stonefruit and wild aromas from this beer. Great aroma, really! Flavor-wise this beer has plenty to offer. A nice bready malt with this stonefruit-y flavor. Never tried sea buckthorn berries, but if this is what it tastes like, nøgne ø has hit a home run. Tastes great. Slightly sour and very refreshing.
3.7 250ml bottle [petty gusher]. Murky golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Complex, spicy, sourish aroma, notes of leather, shoe polish, peat, mustard, white wine, grapes, buckthorn, pickles, a herbal touch, hints of smoke. Taste is slightly leathery smoky, hints of peat, fruity overtones, buckthorn, overripe pear, a sweet-ish herbal touch, white wine, grapes. Quite complex, very interesting (used with positive connotation here), thereby almost easy drinkable.
3.8 Great beer which I have had stored in my basement for almost a year now. The brett med it burst out of the bottle when I openend it. Fruity aroma and a pleasant mild guezeish taste. This is a really nice beer.
2.2 Appearence: clear, with ample, stable white head. Aroma: a mix f fruity hops and malt, no funk to speak of. Taste: That was a disappointment - dominated by diacetyl, with a hint acetone in the background, partly redeemed by mild, pleasant bitterness. Mouthfeel: Way too full for my taste -and for the style. Probably a proof that wild fermentatin does not always go the same way. Althpugh a few more monthsin the tank would probably allow the brett to finish their job and really help this beer.
3.5 Rating #2700. Sample at Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Thanks for sharing today’s beers! APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head. NOSE: fruity, fresh, sour. TASTE: fruity, fresh, sour, lactic.
1.9 Gusher! Hazy orange beer with a big white head. Smell is acid, lactid acid, brettish, smoke. Taste is lactic acid, brettish, dry, youghurt, rotten fruits. Aftertaste is smoke, sourness, Brussel sprouts, dry, yeast. Totally out of balance. Smell was ok, but taste was just horrible.
3.2 Undated 8.5 oz gushing bottle, pale amber with a short white head in the glass. Buggy, musty, nearly acetic aroma with notes of apple juice, herbs, salt water / minerals, tire rubber, cardboard / oxidation. Medium-full body, lightly sweet, acidic and citric, bitter, juicy, finishing warmly as honey, herbs, cherry, salt, apricot.
3.7 Hazy yellow-ornge, low white head. Aroma of cloudberries, lactic sourness. Flavour is the same, a bit of spearmint, earthy funk, medium sourness. I liked the flavours here.
2.9 Pours dark yellow, smokey flavor, slightly sour and lightly bitter. Not bad, but not great either. I’m not impressed by the buckthorn.
3.6 Pours a hazy orangey copper with a small white head that settles down. Aroma is funky, sour, fruity, white grapes, and maybe light lactic notes. Flavour is fruity, white grapes, light Funk and mildly sour with a dry(kinda like white wine finish)
3.4 250ml bottle. Gusher! Golden brow n with huge lively beige-brown head settling fairly quickly. Aroma has some smokiness as well as a slightly lactic sourness. Taste is light and sour with hints of sea buckthorn and some smoke. Mouthfeel is light and dry though a little thin and short lived, mouthfeel is rather light and carbonation is medium-lively. Interesting beer though not the best smoky sour I’ve had, still not too bad though.
3.6 Bottle from Systembolaget. It was a gusher. Tart and smoky smell. Similar taste.
2.5 15.03.2015. 0,25l Bottle. Golden orange colour with white head. Horse and stables. Very sour. Harsh. But also fresh and strong. Dry mouthfeel with ripe fruits and grepe seeds. There are some strange flavours here.
3.5 Gelblich-orange.In der Nase Zitrus, Säure, fruchtige Noten, funky. Am Gaumen fruchtig, angenehm sauer, Zitrus.
3.6 the aroma is fruity and malty with hints of vinegar and forest berries... the taste is fruity with notes of yeast, sour apple, spicy herbs and berries... aftertaste is sour and sweet...
3.6 7 Mar 2015, bottle. yellow, mostly clear, steady bubbles, rocky head. nose is nice. it is sour at first, but not too much so. sweet granola malt and some spiced notes. thin body and moderately fizzy. the sourness isn’t very prominent, just hints here and there. it reminds me of bramble or dried twigs. moderately sweet
3.8 Bottle. Wild ale indeed, came gushing out. Aroma is very tardy and sour, with acidic spice. Taste is sharp and harsh, with horseblanket, brett, forrest herbs and a little old grassy hops. Strange beer, interesting though.
2.5 Bottle, BBE 12/03/15. As the cap is cracked, the beer starts to pour out. After some cleaning the beer poured yellowy orange with a small, white head. Aroma is berries, sour, light oak, some balsamic. Taste is red berriness, rowanberry, sour, balsamic vinegar, caramel, lightly sweet. Not that pleasant. Very high carbonation, fairly light. Unpleasant, Feels too old.
