4.0 Butelka. Barwa ciemno bursztynowa, Brak piany. Intensywny aromat brzoskwini, mango, papaya.
3.9 Bottle. Big head upon pouring that took some time to dissipate. Cloudy yellow appearance. Hoppy with a lot of fruitiness. Pleasant, different and really worth trying.
4.0 Bottle. Amber with off white head and hefty floaters. Aroma of tropical fruits, ripe mango, honey, pine. Taste is similar, mango, resinous, caramel. Sweet and bitter. Tasty
3.8 Pours amber yellow with a white head which soon begins to recede. Aroma is tropical fruits, mango, pine needles and a hint of earthiness. Taste is mango, papaya/caramelish sweetness, pine needles, slightly earthy and a hint of citric orange with a medium bitterness throughout.
3.7 Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky amber body with small yeast particles floating around. Thick off-white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of mango, caramel and earth. Flavour of blood orange, caramel, burnt sugar and dirt. Very bitter and quite boozy. Medium body with an oily texture. Lively fizz. I much prefer bitter Imperial IPAs to sweet ones, so this was a welcome treat.
3.9 amber color cloudy beer, a lot of stuff floating in, white creamy head, not too big but lasts pretty long. Aroma: Punch of tropical fruit (papaya and others), some spicy hoppy stuff. Taste: sweet, sour, bitter. You can definitly taste that the fruits were added here- flavours of tropical fruits, in kinda sweet-sour juice way.. Pretty balanced. Little spicy. Kinda grassy bitternes. Palate: medium body, low carbonation, a little bit of alcohol on finish Overall: really good, pleasent beer, but I dont really like this grassy bitterness, it dont fits in.
3.9 Bottle camping in France. Hazy dark orange pour, thin off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pine, floral, some citrus and a bit of rye. Flavor is quite fruity bitter hops, slighty sweet and with a decent body. Very likable IPA.
Ciekawa, nietuzinkowa IIPA. Do powtórzenia.
3.5 (Bottle, 0.33 l - L96 - BBE 03/16, at Molotow, 20150724) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, exotic fruits and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, exotic fruits, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A very fruity pale ale. Nice.
4.1 Aroma is fig, caramel malts, dark fruit, citrus , lemon grass and a slight earthiness. Taste is a very nice deep and rich malt body with caramel and toffee character. The hop palate is very well balaced with slight funkiness, citrus, lemongrass and passion fruit. Slight after tones of said papaya but extremely subtle and we’ll executed. Appearance is a slightly hazy gold with a thick pillow head that retains very well.
3.7 Dark orange colour, white head. Aroma of fermenting fruits, soap, peach, hoppy forward aroma. Taste is light to medium bitter, light to medium sweet, tropical fruit flavour. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Recomended to people that like fruity IPAs.
3.9 Bottle 33cl / Botella 33cl. @ Cervezorama 2.0. A: Amber / Ambar. T/S: Hops, fruity, citrusy / Lupulo, afrutado, citrico.
3.4 Tap@brewdog hki. Amber light brown, haze. Nose is quite malty, slight ryish, some sweet malts syrupy notes, sweet fruityness of unknown origin. Med full bodied. Sweetness, some yeasty dough, and papaya. Tropical fruity, strange malt pair. Ok though. -- bb
3.6 330 ml bottle. L96. BB 03/16. At the Inez, Tampere, Finland. Hazy red amber color with a tiny off-white head. Resiny, fruity and piney hops, dryness, moderate bitterness and some maltiness in the aroma. Passionfruit, fruits, blood orange and mild resin in the flavor with mild bitterness and sweet malt. Tasty. Fruity.
3.4 Piany praktycznie brak. Zapach bardzo slodki, lekko owocowy. W smaku geste, pelne. Lekki rozpuszczalnik na finiszu? Goryczka srednio udanie kontruje spora slodycz piwa. Raczej bez polotu.
3.2 Bottle at Ølhus København. Hazy copper color, white head. Bitter taste with hops, citrus, pine, caramel, resin and a bit of fruits. Bitter finish with grapefruit, caramel, pine and hops. Decent double IPA.
3.8 (Thanks to user teddybeer) Ambar alaranjado, espuma de fácil formação, abundante, persistente. Aroma bastante lupulado, levemente floral, cítrico, frutas tropicais, papaya com cassis, intenso. Paladar levemente ácido reforçando o papaya, adocicada, álcool perceptível. Corpo licoroso, álcool bem disfarçado, carbonação média. Aftertaste mantém a intesidade do lúpulo, acrescentando o "peso" do álcool. Uma cerveja diferenciada, vale experimentar.
3.6 Botella de @Vivalabirra, Oviedo 21/06/2015. BBD: 03/16. Color ámbar oscuro, aromas afrutados, sabor dulce, cuerpo medio.
3.0 Bottle at Pub Winston. Clear amber color, small white head. Aroma is candyish sweet mango fruity. Light-bodied. Sweetish tropical fruity flavor. Not papaya but mango and passion fruit. Too candyish for my liking.
3.0 Bottle. Dark orange, small white head. In aroma light citrus and green apple. In taste sweet, malty and fruity with green grassy hopiness. Medium body and carbonation, meidum bitter finish. Not bad but not great either.
3.4 330ml bottle (OlutExpo2015) (7:4:6:4:13=3.4) Pleasantly fruity aroma, citrussy, some pine. Full body, sugars quite clear, as are resinous hops. Nice bitter hoppy finish. Drinkability is amazing - there’s no sign of 8.8%. However, that could be the previous 25 beers talking. Not normally a fan of DIPAs, but this just pushes things so far, but not so far that they topple over under their own weight. Rerate of: Tap (Helsinki Beer Festival 2015) (7+:3-:6:2:12=3.0) Aroma is fruity, sweet, more mangoish than papaya. Some New World hops. Just a bit of banana. A hint of pine. Fruit cocktail with whole fruits. Look is goldish brown, hazy. In the mouth, this is starchy and has highish carbonation. Not quite as sweet in the mouth as on the nose, but I’d still prefer a less sweet, lower-ABV version. The fresh papaya is a bit more prominent than in the aroma, alongside dry peach hints. Some pineyness. Slightly dry in the finish. Made less tasty by the starch and high carbonation level, and a bit too sweet. This had potential. Unusually, Phil did not have this.
4.1 Quite strong alc and strong hops. Lots of lace leaving off white head. Amber cloudy with yeast flakes floating thanks to the bar tender. Piney and fruity. Very good.
3.8 Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen - amber red pour with off-white head. Medium sweet tropical fruity and malty aroma and taste, mango, tangerine and papaya, some caramel, toffee, solid DIPA.
3.7 (Nómada Papaya Crash) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip, ABV 8.8% Clear dark orange colour on the body, small off-white head, thick enough, with very good retention, leaving light lacing behind. Aroma of light citrus, orange, some tangerine, light caramel malts, tropical fruits. Taste has plenty of tropical fruits, good malty backbone, grassy hops, the alcohol barely notable. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Pretty good.
3.8 330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, barely white head. Condensed, tropical fruity aroma, notes of papaya, mango, orange marmelade. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, a touch of toffee and honey, cautious spicy hints of rye, bitter hoppy overtones, some tropical fruit, orange zest; sweet-ish-sticky palate
3.9 In short: bittersweet fruity beer. Aroma: recently-cut grass and hops. Appearance: brown-orange with white foam. Taste: bittersweet. Palate: fruity sweet finish.
3.5 33 cl bottle. BBE 05/2015. Pours clear golden color with a huge white head, first pour is only foam. Sweet fruit nose, pine, lots of hops and some pale malts. Sweet tropical fruity flavor, some alcohol warmth, caramel and faint toffee, resinous hops and maybe some distant rye on the background. Sweet and a bit boozy, unfortunately not that fresh either. 4524
3.4 Draught@HBF2015. Reddish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some wooden and mild earthy notes. Flavour is rather similar, with some resin and mild sappy notes as well.
4.0 Aroma: light metallic, tropical fruits, some grain and caramel malts. Appearance: hazy amber, small, creamy, off-white head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: tropical fruits continue, citrus fruits, caramel, light sours coming up, getting slightly bitter in the finish. Overall: excellent IIPA, excellent aroma and palate. Bottle at El Pedal, Madrid.
3.8 Deep bronze colour beer, with mature fruit aroma and taste and bitter end.
