Coffee coconut porter

Rich, roasty and slick. Full Fathom 5 boasts a complex malt bill with coffee and coconut infused in the mash to bring even more flavour than before. Balanced sweetness and a dry finish build the perfect beer for a second cold infusion of coffee and coconut to stand on and shine.

3.5 Burk från systembolaget. Svart öl med litet beiget skum. Trevlig öl med fina toner av choklad, kaffe, rostad malt och kokos. Torr fin avslutning.
3.3 Kolsvart med ljusbrunt skum. Kaffe, choklad och lite lakrits. Tunn och ganska tråkig men väldigt lättdrucken
3.2 God, men inget wow
3.1 Burl systembolaget. Mörkbrun vätska. Doft och smak av rostad malt, mjölk, vanilj och nötter. Len munkänsla
3.7 Rejält med långlivat skum. Kaffe, choklad och lite kokos i finstämd balans. Trevlig!
3.6 440ml can from Gavel, KL. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, coffee, chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liqourice bitter, with a coconut, caramel, sugary, coffee, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
4.1 Pours black with an almost brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate bounty, black coffee, roasted malt and some plum. Bit of body to the beer, silky. Taste is chocolate up front, plum, dark chocolate, toasted coconut, roasted malt, caramel and espresso coffee. Very balanced, slight sweetness and a bitter dry finish. Gorgeous!
3.5 Can SB Torslanda 2021-09-08 Göteborg AR: rich coffey, roasted malt AP: dark brown, high steady espresso brown lid F. Rich roasted coffee, vocount flsles, hint of choy, sourness
3.5 Black color, small brown head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and earth. Taste of roasted malt, coffee and cacao.
3.5 I would have liked to be able to taste the coffee and coconut more. A little watery and ever so slightly bitter. But nice overall.
4.0 Black with a small head.Smooth coffee flavours dominate but cant trace any coconut flavours that are mentioned on the label.Which is a good job as i don't like this flavour.Tried on a warm summers night and very smooth and easy to drink.A good one.
3.7 Puszka. Czarny kolor. Piana średnia, dość mocno palona, opada szybko. W aromacie palona kawa, ciemna czekolada i dość wątłe nuty kokosa. W smaku ponownie słodkie nuty czekolady, średnio palona kawa, delikatny kokos. Wysycenie małe, dość kremowa konsystencja jak na portera. Weszło bardzo dobrze. Czwarty dzień z First Rose Of Summer..
3.6 Can 330ml; Look: jet black with a tan head. Some spot lacing. Low carbonation. Aroma: chocolate, coffee, dessicated coconut, dark roasted malt, slightly savoury Body: medium end of thin Taste: chocolate, coconut, coffee, some subtle bitterness Overall: a very pleasant flavour combination. Well balanced. Lovely stuff.
4.0 440ml can purchased in Morrisons, Anniesland, Glasgow and sampled on the 6th June 2021. Ruby black in colour with a light buff two finger head. Malty aroma with milky coffee notes present in the short nose. Creamy mouthfeel and poor lacing. Dark malts give a maltloaf base with sweet flavours of creamy coffee, molasses, and a hint of Cadbury's Bounty Bar smooth in the mouth. No hop prickle noted in the aftertaste. Malty finish with creamy latte coffee to the fore, hints of coconut fudge, milk chocolate and dry roast grain present. Excellent Coffee Porter here.
3.4 Strong, tasty. Lovely coconut finish.
3.5 On tap at North Brewing Leeds City Tap. Black beer lasting tan head. Coffee and coconut and chocolate no doubt. yes a tasty coconut porter. a little oily. but ok. no real bitterness . a little sweet
3.2 Black pour. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts with hints of coconut. Flavour is all coffee. Thin bodied.
3.1 Roasty, coffee heavy Porter, coconut lightens the load but it’s a pretty generic Porter, lightly spiced, treacle and cola, lots of coffee.
3.3 440ml can, I think it was from Morrisons. Black with a settling tan foam and aromas of red fruit, coconut, a little treacle and cola. Sweetish and lightly burnt, a bit sticky and syrupy, then more coconut and berry notes. Not bad at all, but a bit confused.
3.2 Spalona kawa, metaliczny aromat
3.5 44cl can from Morrisons Supermarket. Thin tan head. Clear black pour. Lots of coffee. Very good..
3.7 330ml can from Beer52. Black with small tanned head, reasonable retention. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, coconut, maybe a little rich and sickly-sweet. Taste however isn't overly sweet. There are lovely smooth chocolate and coffee notes backed up by a rich coconut. Coffee bitterness in the finish with a warming alcohol. Medium+ body, soft carbonation. Yes, good stuff this one.
3.8 [33cl bottle from Beer52] A glossy opaque black pour with a thick chocolate coloured head; aroma of coffee and chocolate; oily and silky smooth in the mouth with a rich coffee taste and a smattering of coconut; then a dry chocolatey finish. Very nicely done.
3.9 Black with a tan head, malt coffee, coconut aroma, medium body, smooth, milk chocolate, light roast , coffee, vanilla. Nice, went well with my steak and haggis burgers
2.9 Can. Some coffee, brown sugar. Not quite getting the coconut... The flavours don't seem to fuse well with the malty porter base, but both are 'fine'. Ultimately a 'fine' beer, but an oddly two-faced taste (for which I lack a clever palate to properly describe).
3.7 Can from Beer 52. Has an aroma of sweet milky coffee. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a small beige head. In the mouth this starts out with the sweetness of coconut, but the bitterness of coffee grounds is right behind it. They then combine to give a chocolate effect. Hints of dark fruits and vanilla as well. Plus alcoholic warmth which takes over at the otherwise quite bitter finish. This is good stuff – but not for swigging !
3.9 0,2l on tap @ Angleterre. Pours very dark brown with a low tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with some coffee. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, coffee, hops. Very nice.
3.4 440ml can. Pours very dark brown with a medium head. Aroma is coconut, chocolate and roast. Taste has coconut throughout with milk chocolate and cake on the finish. A bit muted.
3.5 Aroma of chocolate, coffee, puffed rice, toast, nuts and coconut. Medium + sweet and medium bitter. Medium + body with average carbonation. Dry finish. Overall an OK Flavoured Porter.
2.6 Can. Roasted grain, cheap chocolate, puffer rice, dusty coconut. Watery. Mediocre.
