North Brewing Co Transmission

North Brewing Co Transmission

A classic American IPA. Aroma and flavour dominate - Pine, Citrus, from U.S hops, whilst new varieties add tropical fruit.
High in alcohol to balance out the huge late hopping, This is a hugely drinkable Beer with a light body and dry finish.

3.7 Pint at the Earl of Essex, North London. Smoother than I expected and not too carbonated, taste of citrus/mandarin? Quite sweet, but nicely drinkable for the %.
3.7 Hazy yellow color with small off-white head. Aroma has mandarin, mango and resin. Taste is malty sweet with long bitter and quite dry aftertaste. Flavors of resin, needles, grapefruit and mango.
3.3 Not bad hazy IPA, with pine n citrus notes. Could be bought again.
3.8 Hazy with long lasting fluffy white head. Fresh smelling ale with aromas of resin and tangerine. Dank fruit, predominantly pineapple tropical flavours with some caramel and marzipan. Very hoppy. Long bitter finish. Nice one.
4.0 Llauna beermacia. Color groc hazy, citrica i tropical, amb punts de resina i agradable amargor. Molt bona
4.0 Dank, piney and juicy on the nose, high level of hop aromas with tropical fruits and citrusy notes. Hazy orange, a white, frothy, medium and everlasting head. Good laces as well. Moderately bitter, hop forward flavours of citrus and tropical fruits, with an earthy, dank note and sweet caramel malts. Delicious. The finish is moderately dry. Medium bodied, high carbonation, no hop burn, refreshing. A very well made IPA, whether they consider it New England or American... not relevant, in the end. Lovely.
3.0 33 cl. can at home. Mddium high creamy white lasting head. Hazy dark yellow body. Dusty fruity aroma. Dry and yet mild grapefruit pine flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish.
3.5 33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours pale orange gold, with very fine white foam. Aroma is fruity, tropical, earthy. Body is fairly thick, with abundant soft carbonation. Taste is intensely bitter. Final is long and bitter.
3.4 About exactly what I'd expect of modern IPA. Clean, grapefruit, buzzy aniseed. Straight lines. Not particularly long; older keg perhaps? Fruity without being stupid fruity.
3.9 Tap at Flandes. Hazy pale golden. Dank hops, pine and resin, bit of tropical fruits. Slightly bitter, quite juicy.
3.3 I Draught /I Thick snowwhite head over fully hazy orangey yellow beer, lacerings. Citrus, orange, bit of ureum & asafoetida, other dried green herbs, resin, pine. Very dry, really cheesy hops, asafoetida, more resin, orangepeel. Quite slick, bit sticky, well-carbonated. Long-lasting flavours. The cheesiness is a bit off-putting, certainly at first. Gradually it settles, but it can make a topper this way.
3.8 Keg at Bishops Arms Östersund. Classic hazy ipa with some över thr top dank ess in aroma. (12/9/20) Re-rated 3 days alter same place. 3.9 to 3.8
3.8 Keg at North Bar, Leeds. Hazy yellow with a white head. Lovely fruity, grassy hop nose. Super complex bitterness.
3.8 From Honest Brew
4.1 Nice IPA
3.9 North Brewing Transmission Hazy IPA 6.9% Opaque gold with a dense white head and bright fruity juicy aroma. Lovely soft medium to full body. It’s sweet but balanced with a nice finish that beers towards classic IPA though there’s a lingering sweetness. Really good stuff and this 150ml taster at 550¥ was a steal.
4.0 Full on IPA. Licorice, tropical, enough bittering hops and a good malty backbone. Good.
3.5 440ml can at home. Pours a murky pineapple juice like orange with a decent white head. Nose is diminished pineapple, mango, some small bit of green onion. Flavour is more mango than pineapple. Easy drinker, nice tropical fruit throughout.
4.3 @mas_ibus Torrelavega
3.8 Pours a hazy yellow with a two finger white head. A bit of lacing on the glass. Mostly mango on the nose, pine and citrus on the pallette with some bitterness. Drinks fairly easily considering the higher ABV. I'd say this is the best of the North Brewing Co core four.
3.4 Cloudy apricot juice coloured with very large head and full body. Lots of fruits, hoppy.
Sympa!
3.9 Smell like passion fruit , a litterbit sweet , Pale color , Hoppy , Medium body and high Alc. I like it.
2.9 Smell of hops. Muddy amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma of hops. some earth, spruce. Barbed bitter. Flat carbon, slightly dry palate.
3.6 September 12, 2019 - with lagerloather, at Howl At The Moon, on keg draught. Cloudy pale gold with a nice whipped white head. Pepper/gluten aroma, resin/citrus bitterness, pungent and dry - taste follows, not much alcohol. Airy, lightly carbonated, medium finish - solid dry wheaty non-coating PA.
3.7 Can. Light golden, cloudy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, faint caramel and some tropical fruitiness, citrus/piney hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and dryish - lightly sweetish flavor, faint caramel, light - some tropical fruitiness, some citrus/piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish - lightly sweetish, faint caramel and light - some tropical fruitiness, citrus/some herbal hoppyness. Well hopped fruity IPA with. Not too much caramel. Could be just little bit drier. Nice one though.
4.0 This reminds me what I like about hazy IPAs - it's cloudy yellow-gold with a white foam and a bright pineapple, mango and grapefruit nose. Juicy-dry and fruity, strong and sticky yet with pithy bitterness keeping the sweetness in check. Lovely.
3.2 Pours a golden colour ale with a white thin head Notes of citrus fruits and berries and strawberries Can version
