Northern Monk Faith

Northern Monk Faith

Our flagship Faith is a tribute to our beloved hops, in particular the unique US variety Citra. No other hop comes close to the intense mango and orange citrus bites that Citra delivers, which we back up with a touch of Mosaic for its deeper tropical berry notes, and Columbus, which delivers just a touch of dank pine and black pepper, adding another dimension to this flavoursome but easy-drinking New England style pale.

2.7 Thin yellow washed out citrus flavour. Disappointing.
2.8 Soft head. Pale yellow color. Tropical tone. Little to no bitterness. Intruiging flavor and body. Great to have one (not more) during summer. More like a tropical ale
3.6 330ml can. Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aromas & tastes of mango, lemon, orange, pine & hops. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Highly enjoyable
3.5 Typical neipa like a hundred thousand others Cloudy yellow pour and a fine head Ok intensity in the aroma Balanced sweetness and an ok carbonation level Citric, fruity and some pine in the flavor [Can from Vinmonopolet Amfi Borg in Sarpsborg, Norway]
3.3 From the Naiv tasting. Hazy pale yellow with a frothy, white head. Fruity aroma. Lemon peel. Taste is bitter with a citric edge. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent.
3.6 Tap at Hannover Bier Fest. Milky yellow, white head. Lovely fresh tropical nose. Medium body, chewy dry, citrus, pineapple, somewhat dank finish.
4.1 Map-ale shop
2.9 A strong smell of citrus, some yeast. A rather small head with a normal duration. The body is pale yellow and cloudy. A strong taste of yeast, some citrus and chalk. The body is light and dry with a normal carbonation.
3.8 Opaque hazy brew, looks like geapefruit jiuce. Full citrus aroma, fresh. Creamy full mouthfeel. Grapefruity but controlled balance. Quite bitter afters.
4.5 Great thick body, juicy sweet orange aroma, nice balance with bitterness, great daily driver
3.8 Colore giallo dorato, opalescente, schiuma media compatta.
3.3 Pours hazy gold, thin lacy head. Nose of fruit and pine, nice balance actually. Light cracker malt and subtle bitterness. Solid hazy pale. Not spectacular but can't go too far wrong with northern monk.
2.9 Alright. Sour, like strong orange juice
3.5 Lata @El Cabanón, Avilés. 16/03/2022. Color amarillo corona de espuma blanca, aromas frutales, tropical, sabor tropical, lupulada, cuerpo medio
3.4 Can, at Nærbø Ølfestival. It pours an unclear yellow body under a small, white head. Some curtains. The aroma is piney and grapefruity, with a light fruity sourish touch.Tropical fruit and a faint touch of pale malts. It's medium bodied, quite dry and nicely carbonated, with asoft bitterness. There's some pale malts in the back of the flavor, but it's mostly piney and grapefruity hops. Generic tropical friuit and a hint of grass chimes in. Fruity finish. A refreshing one, nothing particular going on here. 191005
3.0 Aroma; hops, mango, grapefruit, bitter citric peel, ananas, spices, pale malts. Look; average off white head on opaque grumly yellowish body. Taste; hops, mango, grapefruit, bitter citric peel, ananas, spices, pale malts behind, and leading to a nice hopsy finish. Feel; normal body and normal co². Overall; food friendly. [can 44cl, B@V, €uro 5.50, T@home / PivotekaH7] .
3.2 Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a frothy, white head. Dank, citrusy nose. Light in body, a dry fruitiness, again citrusy hops and a dry finish with next to no bitterness. Very thin-bodied, but a lovely quencher on a hot day i bet. 240122
3.3 Pint at Packhorse & Talbot on Chiswick High Road when watching Chelsea - Liverpool with Moaty. Yellow hazy body and small white head. Bitter, citrusy and very hoppy. Almost like drinking orange juice or something. Good but I am a little bit over these extra everything American IPAs. Prefer the English ones.
3.4 Aroma : Highly hopped fruity mix of citrus & tropical fruits, notably orange, mango, pineapple & grapefruit with a decent amount of malty caramel underneath. Taste : Body is a tad thin & texture is a little watery. However full on tropical hoppy fruit hoppy flavours make up for that. Light citric bitterness throughout with a slight fizzy tingle. Decent.
3.6 Very nicely made modern hazy pale. Light and drinkable. But sharp and fresh bright citrusy. Well made no doubt. Biercompany advent
3.8 Yellow, hazy, white head and lacing. Aroma of citrus tropical fruit and burned printcard. Taste is grapefruitjuice and tropical fruits. Dry and juicy.
3.4 Hazy pale yellow, full head initially. Melon and mango aroma. Mango taste with pine and some grapefruit.
3.8 Pours a hazy blonde colour. Taste and aroma is very hoppy, fresh and dry with lots of pine. Very nice
3.9 Can from Tesco. Deep milky hazy yellow with a bubbly white head. Stone fruits and sweet citrus. Peach, mango pineapple and grapefruit. White bread roll. Grassy and pithy fresh hop bitterness. Medium bodied with a fizzy foamy carbonation. A lovely hazy pale. Soft, fruity and easy drinking.
3.7 Gul/orange med vit skum. Doftar och smakar fruktigt. Bra kropp och beska. Lättdrucken och fräsch öl
3.1 Can, 440 ml, SB. Interesting ale: citrus features are very present initially, but the beer is overall not that sweet. The finish is quite small, and not bitter. A beer that sits fine outdoors in summer.
3.6 Can from Systembolaget. Radler like aroma. Light gold haze. A nice fresh light hazy ale with reasonable bitterness. Good job.
3.2 Can picked up in.morrisons pithy orange murky yellow maybe missing some oaty smoothness
3.7 440ml can from Tesco. Cloudy yellow with a foamy white head. Big citrus aroma, flavour is softer but still plenty of citrus and tropical fruit
