1.7 Pours a dark brown clear body with a beige frothy head. Aroma of malts, caramel and brown sugar. Taste is light with a little roasty finish and malty sweetness. Watery still.
2.6 Burk.
2.5 Pours on blackcolour with offwhite head. Aroma of coffee, burned caramel. Medium sweet, light bitterness, no sourness. Medium body, low carbonization, burned caramel aftertaste.
2.6 Can @ annual Julefrokost! Clear dark amber pour with a frothy head. Notes of nuts, light roast, grains and some light herbal.
3.0 (33 cl can from Irma Axelborg; BBD: 05/01/2017) Poured at fridge temperature into a Chios Beer glass reveals a clear brown body with one finger of tan head that leaves lace. Aromas has notes of toffee and nuts. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium to light body and a sweet, bready finish. Flavour has bready notes and is on the moderately sweet side with only enough bitterness for balance. Very drinkable, refreshing and not very complex.
3.0 Can. Pours clear dark brown with lazing beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel, slightly roasted. Taste is semi-sweet and has malt, caramel, chocolate and is a little roasted. Finish is malty and quite bitter with some roasted malt.
3.0 bottle @ supermarket (czech) brown colour, medium body, average carbonated, bitter, malty
2.8 Bottle@home. Dark brown. Small head. Fair carbonation. Roasted nutty. Low diacetyl. Dry sweet malty. Fine dunkel.
3.7 0.5l bottle from Bohémia Sörszalon. dark brown body, nice beige head, silky, creamy. Moderate sourish aroma, later some caramel. Foam tastes bitterish, roasted. The beer is on the sweet malty side with caramel, brown sugar, bit of cocoa. Some herbal influence and also some sourish component is in the background. Palate is OK, could be a bit milder. Very mild bitter chocolate aftertaste, maybe a bit of coffe. Kind of harmonic composition, I liked it.
2.9 Bottle 50cl, a dark amber beer with medium copper head. Nose is on burnt caramel and plum. Aroma is on sweet malt, caramel, toasted caramel, dark malt, bit oxydized, grassy hops, apple touch, ok.
3.0 Classic dark Czech beer with all the traditional flavors in place. Okay and robust.
3.4 From bottle on board Fridtjofen 13.11.15. Mahogany. Diminishing pale brown head. Aroma of dark caramel, syrup and nuts. Similar and sweet taste. Good drinkability. Moderate bitterness is balancing malt sweetness.
2.3 Bottle. Opaque black liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of bread, earth, flowers, metal, nuts and toast. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of bread, caramel, very light ash, metal and sugar. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Sweet and one-dimensional. No real roasted character. Bit too sweet to be drinkable.
Dog smager malten lidt igennem.
2.5 Restrained aroma of malt. No noticeable aroma. The taste is quite good troth of dark caramel malt with very little hard toasted character. A little bit of chocolate at the end, but otherwise a somewhat anonymous and ’quick-forgotten’ dunkel.
3.2 Draught at a beerfest. Colour is almost red but brown. A little watery, but you can drink it very easy, taste is also light a little. Nut, some hop and only at the end sweetness.
2.7 On tad at Dobre časy in Košice, sweet and malty flavour with notes of fruit, the color is red-brown.
2.8 Poured from a 500 mL bottle into a regular glass to drink. The beer had a brown-copper color with a lighter ruby hue and a good-sized foamy off-white head with decent retention, cling, and lacing. It had an herbal and grainy aroma with bits of straw and grain, along with some pine and spice. The taste was a slightly sweet and herbal with bits of toffee and a mild sour grainy effect. The beer was fairly wet with lower carbonation and a thinner mouthfeel without much texture.
2.7 50 cl can @ home. Pours brown with an off-white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are nuts, caramel, and roasted malt - with a slightly dry finish.
1.9 Can from Netto. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Taste is light roasted malts, some sweet fruits, caramel, sugar. A bit watery. Sweet finish.
2.6 Can from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Dunkel rötlichbraune Farbe, ordentliche beige Schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, Blockmalz, rote Beeren. Geschmack nach roten Früchten, wenig Karamell, malzig, naja.
2.9 Clear dark brown with red shine. Big and thick light beige head. Roasted aroma with faint chocolarw notes. Flavour is sweet, roasted, caramel.
2.9 Dark red-brown (mahogany) clear body, small fawn top, Aroma; caramel-prune juice, rich toffee fudges. Taste; caramel, milky chocolate, raisin, toffee, dusty hops. Normal on palate, a bit rubbery. Sweet finish with dust, hops, rubber, raisin peels. Nice enough. [50cl can, abv4.4%, 11°, BB28.03.15, B@supermarket DK, T@höme]
