3.5 2018 Handpump Akkurat. Färgen är som en rostig spik som legat sedan 1970 i Reykjaviks slum. I munnen oj oj övervakande fruktig. Vindruvor och äpplen samt mogna plommon söta??. Rikigt jäkla god Dipa. Superfruktig och nästan helt utan kolsyra. Typiskt för real ale. Denna Dipa hästlängder godare än de ”vanliga” Dragets kanal . Kul. Betyg 4,2👍 TYVÄR fick inte denna Real ale ligga som egen öl på ratebeer . Så därför råder nedanstående beskrivning och betyg på ”vanliga dragets kanal”. Diskret lite söt fruktig doft. Smakar likt doften. Toner av pilsner öl å lite tunn för att vara dubbel IPA tyvär.. Ren klassisk IPA smak med viss sötma. Hade mått bra med mer karaktär. Ytterst tveksamt att kalla denna öl för Dubbel IPA.
3.8 Torr öl utan utstickande smaker vilket förväntas av en dipa. Lagom i alla delar med malt och humlearom. En öl som är drickvärd om kvällen till avkoppling.
3.8 ½ finger off-white head. Amber coloured beer with a reddish hue. Aroma is caramel, bready malts, lemon candy, slight dishcloth, floral, apricot marmalade and grapefruit. Taste is the aroma perfectly transferred with pine added into the mix. Mouthfeel s really smooth and gentle with a nice medium bitterness that doesn't overpower. Low but sufficient carbonation. Oily, medium body. Overall: Every beer these guys release is just great. This is a great WC DIPA, really showing the best parts of the older school. Reminds me of a gentler Hoptimum. Would've liked a more bitey bitterness along with a bit more carbonation. And a bigger bottle, these 25cl bottles are such teasers. Great job!
3.3 Aroma; bitter tropics, amber malts a bit roasted. Look; clear amber with copper tint. Fawn film. Taste; fruits, peels, modest malts, and then loads of berries and bittersweet resin. Feel; solid body, modest co2. Overall; quite fruity dipa. [25cl.btl 8.5% BB01sep2017 B@Systembolaget]
3.0 Bottle from systembolaget Nyköping. Amber color with lacing head. Aroma has malt, grass and resin. Taste is malty with quite long somewhat bitter aftertaste. Flavors of malt, grass and some spices.
2.6 When pouring the beer, it goes in the Brown / Red color. The foam is svårflörtat, but is white. The foam disappears rather quickly, leaving no trace. The aroma is malty and slightly bitter with hints of hops. Smelling of alcohol, citric acid, orange, grapefruit, toffee, spices. Sweet tones and some bread. The flavor of hops, bitter, a bit dry and little bitter. Orange, Citrus, then comes alcoholic husband who is a bit too high. Hint of malic acid, slightly dry and bitter. It has a medium body. A little small dry with medium low carbonation. The aftertaste is slightly bitter and dry, and alcohol taste.
3.2 Flaska från SB. Klar, mörkorange, nästan bärnstensfärgad vätska med beigevitt skum. Rätt tillbakahållen doft. Lite grönt äpple, grön vindruva. Tunn kropp, och tyvärr en rätt tunn ton rakt igenom. Snäll beska med en del granskott. En den sötma, knäck, seg kola, brödig. Druckit innan och tyckt att den varit bra mycket piggare.
3.8 250ml bottle from Systembolaget, Liljeholmen abv 8.5%. Clear amber, medium size white head that leaves good lacing. Citrus zesty bitter aroma, grapefruit, ripe orange, biscuits and pine. Silky mouthfeel, mildly carbonated. Citrus hoppy tase, grapefruit, ripe orange, apricot, red apples, biscuits, white bread and pine bitterness in the finish. Crazy Drinkable!
3.5 Orangebrun klar med høyt beige skum. Lukter røde bær, karamell, krokan og rosiner. Middels + fylde. Starter søtlig, noe fruktig, karamell noe brent utover. Bitterheten og alkoholen sitter lenge.
3.5 250ml brown bottle poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is clear dark amber with a small frothy beige head, that left a little lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, grapefruit and orange peels. Flavours of caramel, resin, grapefruit, orange peels and bread. Taste is light-medium sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium-full bodied, slightly sticky texture and average carbonation. Overall a pretty good DIPA.
3.0 Flaska från SB. Mörkt bärnstensfärgad med smutsvitt skum. Lite karamell och frukt i doften. Lite kryddig och söt smak. Inslag av fruktigt te.
3.6 Tap @ Nordic. Pours clear copper, off white head. Pine hops, caramel, citrus in the aroma. Bitter hops, malts, caramel in the flavor.
3.6 Draught at the Nordic, Tampere, Finland. Clear deep amber color with a small off-white head. Citrus, fruits, herbs and spices in the hoppy aroma. Deep sweetness and balancing maltiness. Not bad. The flavor is really balanced yet easy. Malt, sweetness and hops. Easy-to-drink as well.
3.4 A clear amber body with a small white head. Nose has fresh and almost sour fruity and berry aromas and a bit of resin. Taste is also on the sour and berry side with a decently bitter finish. Lively carbonation and fairly rich palate. Nice and interesting DIPA with interesting berry notes instead of the usual tropical/citrus thing.
3.6 Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours dark amber/light brown with a beige head that stays. Aroma is piney and sweet, scents of tobacco and musk. Quite a nice smell. The taste is full of american hops, drawing to the bitter end. A let down after the nice smelling intro. An okey beer. Plus point for the baby bottle.
3.6 How: bottle Apperance: amber, small off-white head. Aroma: caramel, fruits, grass, lime, herbs. Palate: medium body, smooth carbonation.
2.8 Amber color, off-white head. Malty nose, caramel, honey, grass, fruity notes. Sweet taste, malt dominant, ripe fruit, resin. Medium body, soft carbonation.
3.9 Flaska från SB. Doft av karamell och en aning tallkåda. Påminner mer om en engelsk ipa. Maltdriven inledning i smaken. Sedan kommer beskan och den är rejäl. Här upphör likheterna med de brittiska förlagorna. Bra balans mellan sötma och beska. Alkoholen eldar på och fyller ut hela munhålan. Skön eftersmak. Välgjord.
2.3 Very anonymous DIPA, too low on hops and too sweet. Label states "Extra hop aroma" and "with influences from US", but I cant find any US hops at all.
3.5 Flaska från systembolaget. Förra gången jag drack denna hade inte jäsningen kommit igång. Denna gång var allt i sin ordning. Lite tunn doft av humle. Smakade desto mer, både humliga och maltiga toner. Ganska god.
3.0 Clear amber/golden brown with a fairly good white head, dissipates quickly leaving some lacings. Faint aroma of sweet malt, bread, honey, some hoppiness, english orange marmalade. Taste is surprisingly dry, pilsner malt I guess (?), doughy, bready, dark fruit, slight sourness and some tropical fruits, fairly lingering bitterness. Light to medium body, light carbo. Fairly English in its style but not in the most impressive manner.
3.7 The aroma is sweet and medium heavy caramels with deep piney ad grapefruity hops. Taste is juicy malts and a pretty heavy and moist hop presence. Sweet marmelade and dark fruits. Totally on spot Imperial IPA, but with that small bottle and a little too high sweetness makes me turn to other brews. Top notch though.
3.9 250ml bottle. Brown with beige head. Aroma of resiny and piny hops and sweet caramel malts. Similar taste with more caramel and some medium bitterness in the finish. Sweet, slightly sticky mouthfeel with light carbonation.
3.6 Drucken vid Ölkiosken, Mosebacke. Doften är svagt fruktig, färgen vacker gyllenbrun. Kroppen är tunnare än väntat och smaken mindre än förväntat. Hade väntat mig mycket större beska. Döljer sina 8.5 % mycket väl. Ölen är ok, men inte mer.

3.3 Bottle@bruuveri. Reddish amber, pretty clear. Stuffy caramels, sort of barley-winey with dark sweet fruityness, some leather, herby piney hops. Med bodied, hiding quite well the abv. Dark caramels, dark dried fruityness. I’d guess a lighter barley wine. Overall sort of mediocre for a high abv ale. Nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary either. Lots of sweet dark caramel. -- bb
3.2 25 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Pours clear mahogany color with a small head. Caramel malts and sweet fruits on the nose and flavor. Hops on the aroma, not so much on the flavor. Slightly too sweet, some faint off-flavors too. A bit disappointing. 4414
1.9 Slightly fruity aroma with some metallic smell too. Not at all impressive taste. The taste is very light fruity hops.
