Aroma of roasted malts, rye sourdough bread, roasted malts, vanilla and dark chocolate. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter. Palate is full bodied, thick texture and soft carbonation. Overall a great Imperial Porter.

3.5 Black color. Heavy malt aromas, caramel, chocolate, raisins. Chocolate taste, oily mouthfeel. Medium bitter finish with hops and roasted flavors.
3.4 Thank you Sebletitje! 250 ml. bottle sampled @ “Wish you were Adam Chandler” tasting. 2014 Vintage. Neat cardboard box. Dark brown, little bubbles largely on the side. Nose is low herbal, touch oxidized chocolate. Taste is very bitter herbal, low umami, touch blueberry, milk chocolate, bit thinned out. Bitter & herbal body. Too bitter for me & a bit thinned out, hollow, hopped for something more. This one is not entirely aligned with my preferences.

3.4 Bottle (2014 ed). Black. Malty, dark syrupy bready, roasted, light licorice nose. Med full bodied, clean nice finish. Some oilyness mid palate, real easy though. Good flavours, bit traditional bready närkeishy portery feel. Nice, semi-desserty- drink. Bit low on the flavour-to-abv- ratio, would expect more from such a hefty %.
