1.7Wife’s pregnant tried for the first time. A little sweet but better than I thought it would be.
3.0Fles van 300ml in restaurant bij Brice. Als glas een soort jam-potje. Bier smaakte goed als een echte amber.
2.3Bottle to glass . Mild sweet malt and faint noble hop aroma. Light amber, small white head. Light malty flavor with slight toast, just perceptible hops. Decent carbonation, thin. OK for an NA, drinkable but not interesting.
2.4bottle. At first impression this very looks great, clear amber with a big frothy off-white head. Light bready malt aroma. Light body, lower carbonation, quick finish. Flavour is a bit grainy with faint caramel malt. Finishes a bit tangy. Better than some real beers.
1.512oz Flasche. Goldgelbes Bier. Geruch und Geschmack etwas Malz und Süsse. Ansonsten wässerig.
2.2Poured from a bottle. Nice clear golden color, short lived medium white head. Light malt aroma. Light body with a watery crystal malt flavor and a light finish.
1.9Six pack found at the grocery store. A few non-alcs were sitting there that I hadn’t tried, must remember to go beer shopping at the grocery store more often! This stuff actually has head and a clear copper body, very beer-like, surprisingly so if I do recall my previous forays into the low-alcohol netherworld. Aroma is metallic with hints of rotting cabbage. Flavour is very thin maltness, hints of crisp citrus. Not bad actually, but the mouthfeel is very poor, the whole thing runs very thin and watery. Definitely not "rich" or "flavourful" as the bottle states, but also definitely not the worst low-alc I’ve found on this planet.
3.1One of the better NA beers out there. A hint of sweetness from the malt and decent carbonation. Sweet wet finish with little metallic flavor. Not bad
1.0Pours wan straw yellow with a typical white head. Aroma is barely there. Flavor is - a little malty, and that’s it. I can hardly tell it from water. Mouthfeel is watery, tough fizz is OK. Well, had to give it a try.
3.1First off this is a Low Alcohol beer, therefore don’t expect a ton of flavor. Most people drink these types of beers for a reason and not by preference (in my humble opinion). If you need to drink a low alcohol beer this is the best one I have had so far.
3.2Rating it based on what it is, I have to be fair and say this isn’t a bad Low alcohol beer. If you can’t drink or want to mix in a NA here and there while you’re drinking this is a good option. Taste like a lower quality amber but not bad.
1.912 oz bottle left over from a party. The pour is clear golden copper with a ¼ inch white head. Tons a fine carbonation bubbles rise to the surface. The aroma is chemical sweet malt, though that is faint. Not much else. The taste is an odd chemical sweetness which then turns dusty, then watery. An odd huskiness in the finish. The palate is light bodied initially, then thin and watery. High rate of carbonation. It’s better than the regular O’Douls by a wide margin, though still not terribly pleasant.
1.1Aroma is lightly roasted malts, honey and sulphur. Taste is so incredibly bland. Watered down beyond belief. Appearance is a clear gold with a fluffy head that retains fairly well.
2.0Poured from twist cap bottle to glass. Clear honey Amber hue with creamy white head that settled. Aroma is corn, caramel, skunk, mineral. Mouthfeel is ok with a medium light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness with a faint bitterness in the following and a mineral-like finish. Overall this is not a very good beer...I’m so happy that this is my 1,000th rating!
2.0Bottle. Wort and straw aroma. Golden yellow with giant off-white head. Sweet light barley wort and straw flavor. Not bad - has more flavor than the average AB beer.
1.6"Generic caramel and fizz, and a touch of what could be noble hops. Not horrible, but nothing redeeming either. Trying to cut my alcohol intake for a bit, so these types will be part of that. Worth a buck, I suppose."
2.1[5572-20130706] Bottle. Mild grainy malt aroma. Slightly hazy, amber orange with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. More malty grains and faint caramel notes in the flavour. Medium body. Meh. (4/3/4/2/8) 2.1
2.512oz bottle into tall table glass - Nose is toast and caramel which reminds me of a weak bock. Slight floral addition in the sip department. I think I like the non amber version. balanced taste but not pronounced. Slight smoky aftertaste but the kind I enjoy or dislike. Not bad for 12 calories.
for those who actually read my ratings and wonder why I’m suddenly rating a bunch of N/A beers, I like beer and sometimes I need to be responsible. I’m currently searching for a go-to N/A. I think I will I have to by hops and add them to the cheapest N/A beer available for something to match my goal.
2.0Bottle, British Beer Company, Franklin, MA. Nice amber colour, otherwise no personality.
1.8Bottle at home I continually punish myself with non alcoholic swill. This pours and ok clear copper. Nose is metallic and light toffee. Tastes grainy, with some caramel, metallic, and dough. Not as bad as others
2.0Pours dark amber with a thin white head. Nose is malty. Taste is mildly sweet. Thin body, lively carbonation. Drinkable.
1.7@ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear dark amber with a smooth head cover, no lace. Taste is weak caramel malt that isn’t disagreeable. It would be a complete bust as a regular lager, but at 0.4% it is drinkable. Who’s the designated driver?
1.8bottle. Amber with small head. Bland light caramel malt adds just a touch of flavor to this watery brew. It’s not good, but it’s better than regular o’douls.
1.2Bottle, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Nose is barely anything, with some feint grains. Flavour tastes like almost nothing, with feint grains, but really not anything. Not terrible, but pointless to drink.
1.5Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Amber brew with foam, head quickly dissipates. Metallic aroma. Taste is watery, a little malt, maybe even a hint of caramel and a little astringency in the finish. Refreshing, not offensive, but bland. For what it is, it is OK.
1.5Best by: unk
It’s amber, brilliant clarity and looks still after the quick dissipation of loose light cream foam. Smells sweet with some beefy character and a little tea quality. Taste is metallic with oxidized grains and some oversteeped red tea. Thin bodied with low carb and a astringently abrasive finish. No likey.
2.0Bottle:
Pours bubbly, very light amber...clear with a foamy, off-white head.
Caramel malt aroma.
Taste is caramel, grain malts.
Way better than many low alcohol choices...still not crisp enough, but decent...for what it is.
1.8Bottle. Pours gold with an off white head. Sweet malt extract, toffee, and grain. Gross, but not the grossest.
