3.3 Yellow gold with strong lasting head (amstel glass). Citrus notable and pleasant and refreshing finish.
4.1 Dark yellow with short white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel. Round taste of hops with a mild carbonation - like being in a dark pub in UK. Really nice
3.9 Tasting at SKAAL with my family :) Aroma of mild bitter hops, caramel and slight malt Light yellow colour with light lasting head Nice bitter taste of hops, with notes of caramel, malts and slight citrus Nice medium carbonation with foamy mouthfeel Very pleasant!
3.7 Nice
4.0 0.33 l bottle from Alko. Golden, clear and nice head. Aroma has caramel and hops. Taste has more malts than hops, but that's OK.
3.4 Thanks Geisser to share this bottle, at our flat, in Lausanne, september 2018. This one has a clear and copper body with an average carbonation, thin and white foam. Personally, it was not my best double ipa, the touch of alcool is a bit unpleasant, malty, sugar, basical hop, a bit rough at the palate.
3.9 Bronze with a small head.Smooth hoppy flavour. Medium body and easy to drink. Another good one from this brewery.
3.6 Bottle 50cl @The Station House, Blennerville, Tralee, poured into a pint glass. Slightly hazy medium golden, small frothy white head, dissipating slowly, fair lacing; aroma pale malt, lemon, pine, grass; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grapefruit, caramel, grassy; bittersweet aftertaste, spicy notes, bit chalky; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; well-balanced, very nice.
3.5 Kolor pomarańczowo bursztynowy, zamglony. Piana biała, wysoka i bardzo trwała. Zdobienia raczej mizerne. Aromat słodki, słodowy z owocowymi i kwiatowymi nutami chmielowymi.
4.5 A great addition to the O’haras offer. I found it to taste rather similar to the standard O’haras IPA but there is a thicker aftertaste due, I imagine, to the higher alcohol content. Overall, a very citrusy, hoppy flavour for true “European IPA” lovers.
3.2 Cloudy amber colour, medium off-white head. Citric and sweet aroma, hints of caramel, banana and booze. Balanced taste between sweet and bitter, flavors of caramel, banana bread and smokey malts. Light body, bitter aftertaste, low carbonation. Overall good, pretty enjoyable.
3.8 Bottiglia.
3.5 Draught at Brewery Corner, Kilkenny, Ireland (€3.70/half). Poured a slightly hazy amber with 5mm of white open foam that retained very well and laced extremely well. Carbonation moderate, lively and medium to coarse. Aroma dominated by very sweet honey with hints of citrus; alcohol well hidden. Taste with lots of very sweet honey and hints of citrus (orange); alcohol well hidden. Very smooth with a syrupy mouthfeeland a bit too sweet honey on a lingering finish.
3.3 Quite drinkable and light. Hid the alcohol. Anne liked it too. Different than a US IPA, maybe more towards British. Maltier.
3.6 Achetée à Carrefour. Bière ambrée orangée avec peu de mousse. Nez houblonné légèrement. Bouche sucrée et peu amère. Maltée et houblonné. Pas trop mal!
3.5 Botella. Unclear deep golden litur, miðal hövd, heldur sær ikki leingi. Angan av sitrus, pine herbs, some tropical fruit, on the sweet side alright. Sötur smakkur, sitrus, frukttugt humlu, beisk er hon, turr, piney like. Nice but rather a tad too sweet for my likings. A fine bottle will do.....
3.1 Generalnie spodziewałem się więcej. Aromat nikły bardziej ziołowy, trochę lagerowy, może lekko maślany. W smaku jest wytrawnie, goryczka ziołowo grejpfrutowa mocna. Lubię goryczkę ale to piwo sprawiało wrażenie koncernowego.
3.5 Bottle from Auchan supermarket, Cocquelles, France. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Aroma of caramel, orange and pine. Tastes hoppy, caramel, orange, slight pine, quite sweet. Pleasant DIPA from Ireland.
3.4 W zapachu głównie karmelowe nuty. Przyjemne nawet. Reszta to jakiś grejpfrut. W smaku w stronę słodko-goryczkową. Goryczka grejpfrutowa. Fajne piwo, trochę nie amerykańskie. Mogłoby być mniej słodko.
3.4 Narandzasta boja, mutno. Bijela pjena srednje debljine, veoma trajna. Aroma voća, citrusa, karamela, cvijetne i alkoholne note.
Zaista bih volio isprobati ovo pivo u nekim drugim uslovima i okolnostima.
3.3 330ml bottle from the shop, drunk at home. Pours crystal clear with a thin off-white frothy head that settled fast, medium lacing, no bead. Brilliant orange in colour. Strong aromas of tangerine and orange marmalade with hints of apricot, honey and cereal. Briefly fizzy in the mouth releasing some citrus and fruity hop flavours before strong bitterness wipes everything away. Heavy alcohol is intrusive, excessive sweetness fails to provide balance, leading to a a cloyingly sweet metallic and even astringent aftertaste. Overall, great looks and complex aromas, but it's all downhill from there.
3.7 Pours from the bottle clear light amber with small tan head, herbal aroma, malty sweet with hop bitterness in the neck
3.9 Bottled. Overall a very very tasty double IPA. Malty, caramel, sorb tree fruity, balanced, a bit boozy. Great aroma and taste. Fantastic!
3.0 Very strong & very sweet
