O'Hara's Irish Stout

O'Hara's Irish Stout

The flagship of the O’Hara’s brand, this uniquely Irish stout brings one back to how Irish stouts used to taste. First brewed in 1999, it has since been awarded prestigious honours for its quality and authenticity.

O’Hara’s Irish Stout has a robust roast flavour complemented by a full-bodied and smooth mouth feel. The generous addition of Fuggle hops lends a tart bitterness to the dry espresso-like finish. This sessionable stout beer is filled with rich complex coffee aromas mingled with light liquorice notes. The combination of traditional stout hops with an extra pinch of roast barley allows us to stay true to Irish tradition, recreating a taste so often yearned for by stout drinkers.

2.9 Pours a dark colour with white head taste a nice smooth taste to it with a chocolate deep taste with a malty taste
3.5 Bottle from Beer52. Pretty smooth. Black with mahogany hints and a lasting medium-sized beige head. Chocolate, coffee and burnt caramel to the fore. A dry ash taste comes through, with a light hint of blackcurrant and liquorice behind. It's a touch too acrid in the finish for my tastes, but it's still a decent brew nevertheless. Happy St Paddy's Day!
3.1 Schöne Kaffeenoten, voller runder Geschmack.
4.1 Smoked
3.9 Deze Ohara’s Irish Stout met 4,3% alcohol drinkt lekker weg. Er zit een licht bittertje in en een droge afdronk. Niet slecht.
3.5 Draft at the Pub in northern Kentucky - roast and toast. I'm guessing this is on nitro. Creamy
4.3 ruby tinted brown near black. beige head. smell is super burnt roasted barley, licorice, toffee, caramelization, complexity. taste is minerally, malty, refreshing and highly herbal. this malt tastes god damn amazingly doughy, deep.i actually taste a lot of corn tortillas in it on multiple sips. taste is a rare 10. body is thickfor the ABV. i believe fairly high carbonation compared to what is expected in a DIS. can't believe its filtered. this was a slightly slow burn but after half the glass, this is excellent, very exciting and fun. i would definitely buy this again.
3.3 Bevuta in bottiglia. Tipica stout. Non è cattiva, ma troppo semplice. Manca di corpo.
3.5 Buen trago, una stout con cuerpo, aroma. Cierta robustez.
3.5 Pours black with a brown head. Aroma - Malt. Chocolate. Coffee. Taste - Roasted malt, Burnt coffee.
3.5 Piwo wypite podczas jakiegoś zajęcia. Albo smakowało albo nie, nie miałem ochoty pisać peanów na ten temat.
3.0 can @ 24/7 shop (budapest) dark brown colour, normal body, no head, silky and creamy texture, watery, roasted malty, coffee, strong bitter, dry
3.7 Coffeeish. Roasted malts. Burnt and smokey aroma. Nitro pour. Silky smooth and creamy. Satisfyingly tasty.
4.1 Pours dark brown with nice head. Aroma of malts and char. A very clean and dry bittersweet malt flavor, a bit of vanilla. Roasty dark malts abound, finishes dry. Simple taste profile. At 4.3% ABV it goes down easy. A nice surprise. Would have again.
3.5 O’Hara’s Irish Stout 4.3% Pitch black with tan foam and a savory roasty aroma. Medium bodied with a dry finish. The taste is like a roaster more robust Guinness. Quite good.
3.3 Ochutnáno 7. května 2021 během pivní ochutnávky s kamarády. Piva zakoupená z eshopů beergeek.cz, beershop.cz a remeslneprodukty.sk.
