3.7 Cask at the Robin Hood Beer Festival 2017. Clear straw yellow. Citric and herbal aroma. Not too watery. Same mix of citrus and herbal flavours on the palate, leading to a bitter and floral finish. Lasting bitter aftertaste. Good.
3.1 Nice beer, but fairly light in flavour, had from cask. Golden clear in colour
2.9 Hand-pulled in the Guilded Arms, Edinburgh. Lo carbonation and the hops flavor could be more intense to make it outstanding. However, the gentle hoppy flavor and a slight but unmistakable bitter aftertaste make this a decent, easy to drink Ale.
3.5 A pint in the mansion house . Golden with thin head. Flowery with just the right amounts of hops on the aroma which as well, add perfect bitter balance to the the over all Sweet and fruity taste. Probably the best Oakham beer i ever had.
2.8 Fruity tasty notes followed by a dry sourness. Very flavoursome. Very lightly carbonated a bit too much. Update: another pint. It’s pretty sour stuff. Slight sweetness at the end. Bombarded with hops and unbalanced. I don’t rate this beer. Hops for hops sake but in a really muddy way.
3.8 Cask, Mariners Great Yarmouth. Golden appearance with small off white head and a pleasant light citrus aroma, lemon and melon. Taste of hops with citrus and light fruits coming through to a slightly bitter, pithy and dry lasting aftertaste. Not at all bad, and as usual another decent beer from the Oakham fold.

Taste is similar of melon, lemon, some grain and slight grassy, floral hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, grainy, floral hop bitterness in the finish. A crisp, easy drinking, citrusy golden ale with a grainy background, but not lagerlike and lightly floral late on. A good Oakham beer.

3.9 Pints at the Tilley Stone Gateshead. Crystal clear golden body with a half-inch of proud white mousse. Floral aroma, tropical fruit flavour, and what I describe as "green" bitterness on the finish. Seems simple, but more than the sum of its parts.
3.6 Cask at brewery Pours a very bright lite orange hue with a nice rocky soapy white head and great lacing once again. These cask ales are pouring perfect from this place. Nose is big floral notes flowers quite lite. Flavors show big floral hops a bit of green apples (old cask?) And big dryness. Finish has lingering floral hops and very dry. Not as good as citra or scarlet macaw but decent.
