3.1 Hazy pale golden with white head. Wheat with light banana aroma, a hint if metallic and red orange peel. Smooth taste with riped banana aftertaste. Kind of almost oily texture.
3.4 Flaska.
3.7 Bottle from Tesco, Hungary. Hazy, orange color, medium white head. Fruity aroma of yeast and banana. Refreshing, crisp GHW taste. Not bad.
3.7 Botella 50cl.
3.4 50cl swingtop bottle. Cool label. It pours a hazy golden body with a large white head. Aroma isclove, yeast, citric, banana. Light to medium bodied, faint cloves, citric, faintly bitter finish. Refreshing and well made
3.1 Thick white head with a hazy orange colour. Smell a bit lactic, with little banana notes respect usual weizen. Taste is well balanced, yeasty, banana, and cloves, and wheat of course. Medium carbonation. Not bad, an ok weizen, better than expected, but a bit too light respect the best weizen.
3.5 Swing top bottle, 0.50l. Hazy deep golden color with large frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of moderate grainy and bready malt, light herbal hops, moderate yeast and banana. Taste starts with light sweet malt, followed a bit grainy and moderate citric and yeasty sourness, while finished mildly bitter. Medium body, slick texture abd lively natural carbonation in palate. Refreshing and very enjoyable hefeweizen...
2.9 Hazy orange colour. Citrus banana aroma. Taste is sweetish with some yeasty spiceness.
3.4 0,5 bottle. hazy amber to yellow with big, medium lasting, rocky head. lemony yeast aroma. initial watery taste, lemon tartness, wheat malt in the final. pleasant dry mouthfeel, not pasty like other weissbier.
3.6 extremely hazy orange colour, medium white head - great appearance; aroma ofaroma of yeast, citrus and banana; taste is a bit too sweet and less sourish with notable hoppy bitterness and spicy aftertaste, not bad
Birra molto fresca e piacevole.
3.0 Early amateur rating in 2012. As ''Oberdorfer Weissbier'. Had this in a Vienna hostel. The aroma promised much, but taste is a bit flat, slightly sour even. (3.0)
2.6 Pours pale yellow with some darker tints in the middle, small white head. Nose is your standard cirtus, pastry smell. Right on par for the style. The taste is not quite as good. It starts biter and where the sweet should be mixing in there is a harsh tartness coming on that gives it very offputting flavor. It dies down for a semi-sweet ending but that off flavor clings for a bit. The mouthfeel is overcarbonated, extremely fizzy. The body is light and the finish is medium. Not so much.
2.6 Citrusos jegyek mellett lanyha, édeskés és nehezen meghatározható ízek kerengenek, enyhén fűszeres - leginkább komlós - zárással. Gyenge,testetlen...:((
2.5 Golden cloudy color with white foam, yeast little aroma. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and little bitterness.
3.5 0.5l bottle. Hazy orange body, white head. Aroma is a little bit banana-like but the citrusy, spicy character dominates. The flavor is spicy that has some banana and orange to it. Decent beer, but nothing extraordinary.
3.6 pour is light hazy yellow, tight frothy head. Nose is sweet lemon, lightly peppery, fair amount of yeast and light Belgian note to it. The flavor is lemony and refreshing, faint spice and fair balance of yeasty. Strong carbonation, medium body, zesty finish. Rather refreshing and easy to drink. Nothing crazy in complexity but good at what it is.
3.3 Bottle 0.5 L. Hazy dark yellow body with a large, creamy, white head, mostly lasting with a nice lacing. Moderate malty (bread) and yeasty (citrus) aroma, with notes of banana and some spices. Mainly sweet flavour slightly balanced by a light bitter note; moderate acidic character is also present. Light-to-medium body with an oily texture; fizzy carbonation; moderate astringency in the finish.
2.8 Bottle from Tesco - Nice hazy orange appearance with a quickly dying head. Usual hefe aroma and taste line followed by a sour line.
3.4 0,5l bottle from Tesco, Szolnok. Cloudy, yellow, straw-colored with creamy, medium white head. Very beautiful weizen. Light banana and intensive citrus aroma with a strong yeasty flavour. The odor is rather fruity and banana. Light, smoothy bitter, typical weizen taste. Silky, creamy texture, medium body, average carbonation. Yeasty, citrus flavoured, light and refreshing beer. Not the best hefeweizen, but a good choise.
3.4 Bottle. Hazy golden with a fluffy head, very nice look! Aroma is soft with bananas, bready malt, vanilla, fruit bubblegum, light smoke, yeast, subtle citrus. Little on the clove side but this may be why the mix is really impressive. Soft, bready-fruity taste with the citrus in the background. A bit too little acidic, which is why it could be regarded as slightly bland. Well, it’s soft and calm, without a biting edge. I liked it a lot but the aroma promised more.
3.4 500ml bottle bought at Scout club in Samobor, Croatia. Cloudy yellow color with thin head. Mild aroma of lemon, orange and full barley. Quite simple and refreshing beer. Very drinkable. It’s average but enjoyable.
2.9 500ml bottle. It is the very average of the Weizen beers for me. Special bottle, but the beer isn’t, price rather expensive. Medium body, CO2, citric taste like this type and so on. A good beer but nothing more for 1,5 euro in a hypermarket.
2.7 50cl spring cap bottle. Lots of yeast remains in bottle, twisted and shaked then. Pours cloudy yellow with a big burst of off-white foam quickly reducing to a fair lace. Nose is typical of the style, not so prominent. Classic fruity taste, lots of citrus. Dry, and missing what i like of this style, the thickness. Simple and weak overall, light bodied, well balanced bitterness, highly carbonated. Not bad but a little disappointing, considering the price is higher than other better weizen.
3.3 Bottle from small market in Roma. Swingtop bottle. Opened with very loud pop. Pours hazy dark gold with a creamy 3 finger white head. Aroma is strong banana, wheat and mild clove/spice. Med body goes a bit watery as the carbonation leaves. Flavor is banana with a lot of yeast/spice - paricularly clove. Flavor fades a bite in the finish.
3.1 500 ml swingtop bottle, bought in Spain. ABV is 5.0%. Cloudy pale golden colour, large white head. The aroma is first dusty and grainy, then the typical hefeweizen features (cloves and banana) come through. The medium dry flavour has also some grainy notes, moderate notes of cloves, an apple-like acidity in the finish. Like most hefeweizens it is refreshing and fairly nice to drink - but not the best example of the style.
