50 cl can @ home. Pours clear golden yellow with a white head. Aroma and flavour are grains, malt, and straw - with a slightly dry finish.
Слава Україні! Pale straw with a fizzy head. Aroma is grain, bread dough, very light floral. Flavor unremarkable, light sweet with bread dough and corn. Light and drinkable. Ehh

20/7/2022. Can sent to UK from Ukraine via Poland thanks to Marek. Maybe because it’s stupid hot in UK right now as I drink this (only 29 degrees here in Ipswich down from yesterdays 35), maybe because this is Ukrainian, or maybe it’s both. But I enjoyed this far more than I thought I would when it first arrived. Poured great, clear, bright golden with a nice size frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy, light caramel. Great sunshine refresher.
Klare gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, schwach hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter bis mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
Can at a mixed-ex-SSSR-country store by the Hůrka metro in Prague. Canned August 26th 2021. Hmm... But hey. NOT about to miss an Ukrainian tick of any kind. Clearish golden body, white head without much retention. Surprisingly cleanish aroma - grainy, malty, sweetish, vaguely flowery. Soft taste, ending a bit dry, vague honey, vague herbal, vaguer still flowery touches. Generic, but holding up very, very well for its age and being on a shelf, not a fridge. Oxidation's there but low amounts - I'm actually finishing this. When in proper shape, this looks like it would be an inoffensive generic chuggable macro.
This bottle is coming from Amstein, St-Légier. Deciding to open it, yesterday, coming back from the job and I was thirsty with an idea to drink a lager for worker. Nothing sexy but you get a refreshing beverage with a gold body, clear with an average carbonation, thin and white foam. The taste is rather light, malty, watery, bready, a bit metalic, extract of hop, ordinary bitterness.
1 l PET bottle, brewed by Moscow Brewing Company. Golden, clear, good white foam. Aroma: grain, malt, cookies, a little grassy hop. Taste: slightly sweet, light, malty, even slightly sour, no hops, table beer for fish.

Malty, honey and citrus aroma. Clouey goldy body; white head with low persistance. Malty, corny, honey. Wet paper finish, almost no bitterness. Bad lager. 0,5 l, can, shop with rusian food, Prague.
Optisch blass und hellgelbt mit einer zart gländenden Trübe, die leicht grünliche Reflexe in das Bier bringt. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone gibt sich sehr wässerig und fällt rasch auf unter 1 cm zusammen.
Die Duftaromatik gestaltet sich sehr einfach, zurückhaltend, leicht süßlich brotig.
Der Antrunk kommt gut spritzig, wirkt anfangs fast säuerlich und leicht hopfig. Für den ersten Eindruck eigentlich ganz okay. Am Gaumen ziemlich dünn, leicht süßlich malzig mit zarter Würze und leicht eingebundener Hopfenaromatik. Es fehlt etwas an Vollmundigkeit - und auch die Süffigkeit könnte besser sein. Aber dieses Bier soll jedem gefallen. Mann, Frau, Jung und Alt, ... und für die breite Masse reicht das. Die Aromatik zeigt sich zwar ziemlich zurückhaltend, sehr einfach, aber nicht schlecht.
Im Abgang flacht die Aromatik rasch ab und wirkt kurz zitrusartig. Danach bleibt eine passende Hopfenherbe über.
Für diesen Bierstil und dafür was dieses Bier will, ist es schon okay. Etwas höhere Ansprüche kann es aber nicht erfüllen.
Can. Clear golden, smaller white head, nonlasting. Very mild nose, almost nothing. Just some hints of cardboard. Medium sweet, papery, corn. Some hints of bitterness, but hardly any. Watery body. Nonoffensive, quenches thirst, but no real character.
Plechovka z ruského obchodíku. Vôňa sladova jemnejsia. Farba bledsia zlatista. Chuť jemnejšie vodovejsia. Trochu horkost.

Wattery beer with grass aroma nothing special but for summer days it's ok
Pale gold pour, small white head. Nose is malt. Middle shows light kilned malt, straw, euro hops. Finish is somewhat dry. Just kinda there.
Bottiglia. Il naso viene catturato dall'orzo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e la maniera in cui permane è appena percepibile. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è medio. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo poco percepibile. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, cereali, fiori e agrumi.

clear golden colour, lagre, though quitckly collapsing white head; aroma of grainy, sweet corny, metallic, wet cardboard, some sweat and urine notes; taste of metallic bitterness, some herbal and malty notes; not really good...
Clear gold with a 2 finger head. Not much visual carbonation in the form of tiny bubbles. Grassy aroma with a light malt taste. More grassy off taste with a funk I can't describe. Finishes with a lingering plastic taste.

Like all old brands, Obolon has turned into a mediocre, impersonal, Euro-lager. The taste is sweetish with sourness. Not worth your attention.

Smell- weak, maybe hops.
Foam- thin, maybe it of bitter-sweet notes. Head is medium, white.
Appearance- clear, yellow, orange, amber, no carbonation.
Taste-weak, malt, bitter, sweetish notes. Quite bland, but drinkable.

500ml can into glass. From New World, Rotorua. Crystal clear amber beer with a thin white head. Medium carbonation. Nose of cardboard and plasticine. Oily, watery, sweet, peppery, all at once! Not a pleasant experience.
