This light and crisp ale is sure to capture your taste buds. Not quite a pale ale not quite an IPA. This is our flagship beer which is brewed exclusively with citra hops. The aroma is an intoxicating bouquet of grapefruit, tropical fruit, lemon, and pine.

3.9355ml Dose. Golden mit Trübung und mittelgroßer Schaumkrone. Hopfig mit intensiven Citrusaroma. Herb. Erfrischend. Gut trinkbar.
3.5230818. Can at home (brewdog). Pours golden with a nice head. Aroma citrus, floral notes. Good first impression but flattens out a bit after a while. Turns slightly uneven. But Not Bad.
3.3Can from the Brewdog Online Shop. Pours clear golden orange with a thin white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, pine and resin, light orange. Taste is bitter, more resin, light chalky note. Bitter finish, a little too bitter.
3.0Can.
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (lemon, orange).
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Simple and meek aroma, but thankfully no offensive odors. Sourish in the mouth, but otherwise balanced ok. Overall mostly forgettable, but drinkable.
3.0Can from BD Milton Keynes. It pours hazy golden orange with some small suspended floaters (even though it was poured carefully) and a small, foamy white head. The aroma is orange peel, tangerine, kumquat, slightly dusty and spicy. The taste is dry, fairly bitter, pithy, zesty, bitter orange peel, kumquat, waxy, quite grassy and spice with a drying and bitter lingering finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. A bit rindy and bitter. Fairly ho hum.
3.3Keg at BD Soho, 05/07/18.
Clear golden orange with a decent off white cap that retains well.
Nose is bitter orange, earthy hops, grass, caramel, toasted grains.
Taste comprises airy malts, grassy bite, light biscuit notes, orange pith.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dusted with earthy hop bitterness.
So so ... Probably the weakest link in the 8 or 9 beers ive recently rated from these guys. Just a touch harsh and disjointed.
3.512oz can from Giant Eagle, UA: gold pour, big fluffy white head and strong lacing. aroma of fresh fruit and hops, little resiny. tastes are dank, juicy citrus, low bitter, sweet, bit tropical, lemon, caramel malts, pine. slight dry in finish.
3.612 oz can 5/3/18 (Binny's Mix A Six -Montgomery)-38° in Shaker-Pours a hazy orangish amber with a nice size white head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Taste of hops, grapefruit, and pine. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and just downright tasty.
3.6This is decent
3.033 cl. bottle. A hazy orange coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, fruit, yeast and spice. Vintage rating.
3.0Bottle@yesprs - (from the 2013 Great American Beer festival - thanks to Dennis) - Orange pour with white head. Fruity and malty with notes of vague tropical fruit, some sweet malty notes, medium to light body, dusty old hoppy into the finish.
3.1Pours hazy with white head. Aroma is peachy and solod hoppy. Smooth fruity. Solid hoppy. Dry, bitter and crisp hoppy. Mellow and fruity finish.
1.5From a can cloudy pale like a hefe, maybe. Big craggy head. Sharp floral hop aroma. Taste is big IPA. Big dull ipa. Please put this in its proper style. Big bitter IPA finish as well. Yes, somewhat like an aged big dull IPA fer sher, from start to finish. Put it on your IPA bucket list. Resin, spruce, not sure of citrus tho. Seems like more than 6%, dude. This kick is so strong I didn't even realize it was carbonated, just mouth coating viscous IPA. Nasty to any lager loving taste buds.
4.5Excellent pale ale. Both aroma and flavor are very well balanced with hops to malt. Just right bittersweet matched with perfect carbonation, body and finish. Great drinking brew.
3.712 oz can pours a cloudy orange color with small white head but good lacing. Aroma is pungent, and dripping with citrus hops: grapefruit, pine resin, lemon, and something dank. Taste is bitter with a touch of caramel malts in the middle before a short bitter finish. Body is medium with average carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel. This APA assaults the tongue in some good ways.
3.2Bottled. Solid pale. Hoppy. Tropical flavors. A nice malt and dry finish. Easy.
3.9Interesting balance of an IPA and a pale ale. Leaves a lasting resin taste afterwards but nothing to be scared of. Super summery!

3.212 ounce can at home. Smell the grapefruit Medium white head. Light golden in color and looks carbonated. Not overly hopped. Pretty smooth with a little hop after bite. Pretty good Pale Ale.
3.0From BandC. Tropical and citrus hops, light, summery lemony. Ok Serving: Can.
3.6Orange caramel color. Strong lacing with little head. Citrus aroma pops. Sits easily on the tongue. Fruity taste up front and very little bitterness to finish.
3.712oz can from Beer Bazaar in Hainesville. Fruity tangy, sweet malty. Quite balanced and very clean. Not super citra-y. 13.7
4.4Dark golden amber without a lot of head. Nice citrus aroma, I get a lot of grapefruit. A decent about of grapefruit in the tastes as well; nice tartness. A little heavier on the tongue than many pale ales. I really like this one; every sip is like the first. I’ll drink again for sure.
3.6Bottled. Pours golden wan average off-white head. Aroma of citrus, peach, tropical fruit and piney notes. Sweet flavor that ends up being dry and bitter. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and bitter. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice APA indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
3.7330 ml bottle. Bottled 08/??/16. (Meijer) Kalamazoo, MI.
Clear golden color with a small white head.
Really fresh citrusy hoppy aroma with some candle wax, bitterness and dryness.
The flavor is citrusy and piney hops, moderate bitterness, lemon pie, dryness, malt and some grapefruit. Enjoyable.
3.7Non Beer Trip Beer Trip Beer #96. Clear golden, large foamy tan head. Good retention. Aroma of lemon and tropical fruits, pale malt. The taste is lemongrass, orange, lemon, pineapple, mango. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Solid.
3.3Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of grassy hop, citrus and malt. Taste of grassy citrus, nettle, malt and some crispy biscuit. Thirst quenching, but not very hoppy.
3.6On tap at Bigby’s Pour House in Addison, IL. and shaker served showing a slightly hazed, orangey gold color, with a frothy layer of soft white head foam, and sheet-like lacing on the glass. The nose was expressive fruitiness of tangerine, grapefruit, a bit of tropical scent, with a hint of resin. A little less than medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste added a moderate citrus & rind bitterness. The texture thinned a bit and was slightly watery on the palate, but otherwise, an altogether even keeled Pale, with pleasant drinkability.
4.1Aroma is pine, citrus, light tropical fruit and a hint of perfumed sweetness. The flavor is tropical fruit, hops/hop resin, citrus, malts and a very bitter finish.
4.1À very nice citra pale ale. Light grapefruit aroma, golden and translucent, thin white head. Nice bitter bite. Tried at Plum Market at DTW on my way to A’dam in 2016.
