3.512 oz can gifted by Keven. Thanks! A clean and clear golden orange color with a rocky foam head. A soft citrus and grassy hop aroma on this classic, slightly aggressive double. Sharp bitterness, a slight grapefruit note. Moderate to heavy bitterness here. Pretty good.
3.5Deep yellow pour, nose of some fruit and malt. Bitter taste with a nice malt backbone. Bitter finish. Nicely blended dipa.
3.4Canned version. Clear deep golden color. Off white lacy head. Sweet honey malts with plenty of bitterness. Citrus and pine dominate. Heavy oily mouthfeel. Long sticky finish. Too sweet for me.
3.8Tap poured orange gold with thick white head and decent lacing. Aromas of mango, light pine, and tangerine. Nice maltiness. Pretty decent but not awesome.
3.7Tap at freshcraft. Pours clear orange some head and lacing. Notes of grapefruit apricot mango. Med bitter light sweet.
4.0Clean gold pour, tight white head. Nose is muted floral with wood hints and some alcohol. Middle is kiwi, tangerine, some light oak, honey, creamy malt, touch of alcohol in the roof of the mouth. Dangerous. Finish has orange blossoms, little alcohol burn, lightly carmelized malt out the back. Big beer, big reward.
3.2Another beer that I had high hopes for and failed to deliver. Aroma was mildly resiny hop and some hints of sweet malt for balance. Okay buddy in Finnish nothing to complain about but nothing to write home about either.
3.6Sweet orange and tangerine with some bright tropical notes and a decent helping of caramel malt. Medium bodied. Lightly floral. Solid.
3.7Can from Craft Beer Cellar Clayton. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam. Herbal nose with some honey, floral notes and light citrus. Clean and crisp carbonation. Good hoppy bite, but not overly bitter. Floral flavors, some light herbal character. Peppery, light bitter finish. Quite nice.
3.7Deep golden pour with a orange tint and soapy white head along with lots of sticky lacing ..... aroma of citrusy tangerine, light tropical fruit, peach and candied fruits ... taste is light for a dbl ipa and of peach, tangerine and light tropical notes, juicy fruit flavors .... lightly bitter on the back end .... mouthfeel is slick and oily ..... abv hidden well .... juicy and mellow brew not too lively almost flat .... it’s tasty and solid but not a world beater
4.3Fat Henrys Denver. Här luktar det gott. Gödsel o torkade frukter. Riktigt gott. Smaken fint balanserad . Många bottnar i smaken där torkade frukter dominerar för att sedan komma kola o sötma. Sedan en härlig beska.
Fan vad de kan amerikanarna
3.6Tangerine and some hops. Orange pour with ok head. Bitter finish. Decent but no individuality like 1984. Tap at Freshcraft.
3.8Can. Floral hop aroma with notes of tropical fruit and pine resiny hops. Pours clear amber colored with a large off white head that has excellent retention and decent lacing. Starts with tropical fruit hop flavors with some floral hop notes in the background. Finishes quite dry with floral and pine resiny hop bitterness coming to the foreground and lingering on the palate. Pretty nice double IPA.
3.9Light orange pour, very faint fruity aroma. Very oily mouthfeel with pine notes. Abv is well hidden.
3.4drunk straight from the can, I do not like IPA’s normally but this one is solid. Alcohol is extremely well hidden. Wouldn’t drink again most likely
3.5Myrcenary Double IPA: It tastes like flat seltzer water with the juice from a can of pineapple chunks, garnished with chives.
4.1Can to glass - pours a light gold with a white head... Very frothy and sticky. Aroma is generally subdued, light citrus, stone fruit, florals. Super smooth for the abv... Just a tingle. Apricot, florals, honey, woodiness. Excellent!
3.8Draft @what's on tap in Keller. Light fizzy head. Somewhat cloudy yellow golden color. Aroma of fruit peach, light pine, grapefruit, light malt. Medium body with a dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor. Dry bitter finish.
4.3Tap into goblet. Generous lacing. Very slight hint of alcohol but overall very smooth. Light carbonation. Pine and citrus notes. A very solid Imperial.
3.6Near clear orange to light amber pour with a two finger, creamy off white head. Aroma is full of juicy floral, fruit and citrus notes, some sweet caramel and just a hint of biscuit. Flavor is super fruity and floral, light perfume, a little sweet cereal, citrus syrup and a hint of pine shoots. Medium to heavy body, kinda syrupy feel, light, but sharp carbonation. A little sweet, but tasty. Juicy/candy IPA goodness.
3.83 June 2017, tap. Dark yellow, clear, occasional bubbles. Nose is floral and bitter grass/pine. Med/thin body and moderately fizzy. Sweet malt, mildly bitter and faint grapefruit, mild alcohol. Nice.
3.2Juicy and slightly bitter finish. Not overly skunky or bitter for a DIPA. Mild for the alcohol content. Not much to say otherwise.
3.6Tap to snifter. Pours semiopaque light caramel color. Aroma is heavy hops and pine. Taste is dry hops as well. Medium light body. Any alcohol taste covered by the hops.
3.93 week old can. Pours a clear golden orange with a thicker white head that leaves great lacing as it shrinks. Aroma is big pineapple and mango. Citrus and caramel as well. Taste is big tropical fruit mixed with sweet caramel malts. Lots of mango, papaya, and orange are followed by pine resin and lots of sweet caramel and sticky malts. Sweeter and sticky with a slight alcohol presence.
3.9on tap pours golden frothy white head tropical nose with slight hops taste is the same very tropical fruit followed by dry bitter finish
4.4B+. Pours a clear golden color with white head. One of the most drinkable double IPA’s I’ve ever had. Full of flavor and not too bitter
3.6Aroma is lost on my stuffed sinuses. Color is clear light amber with a small-to-medium white head. Tastes of tropical fruit and caramel sweetness perfectly balanced with not over-the-top hops bitterness. Palate is perfect as well, fairly thick and oily. Exceptionally smooth, and the ABV is not apparent. A great IIPA.
3.6(Tap) clear bright amber colour with a small white head; aroma of jam, citrus; balanced flavour with a long, medium bitter finish
4.3a solid double IPA. goes down smooth and creamy. nice tropical fruit flavor and aroma. happiness is solid. exceptional.
