4.6 Micsoda egy zsenialisztikus ötlet. Már mint az imperial stout és a rauchbier össze keresztezése. Meg kell vallanom h egy kicsit röstellem is magam h nem az én fejemből pattant ki, mint andezit a heklából.
4.1 Black with a brown head. Aroma: Dark chocolate, smoke, liqourice and caramel. Taste is bitter and sweet.
3.8 Bottle@KahdetKasvot, Tampere, Finland. Strong, averagely balanced nuances of smoke, some tar, roasted malts, dry riped fruits. Wide taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with licorice, smoke. Strong body with medium/low carbonation. Overall, smokey good quality IS without any other gimmics. 8 4 6 3 17
4.1 20-Jul-12 (500-ml bottle: Purchased 20-Jul-12 for $11.99 at The Bine & Vine Bottle Shop in San Diego, CA) This Smoked beer pours very dark brown, opaque through all but the very edge where some transparency shows the clarity of this beer. The head is dark tan in color and rises to half an inch before settling to a wide ring. Aromas of smoked meat, campfire, licorice, dried plums, coffee. Flavors of charred beef, bacon, dark-roasted coffee, burnt toast, pure cacao, anise, fresh herbs, cassis, dark fruit, and some sweet vanilla. Full bodied, medium in carbonation, light sweetness, but dry finish. Alcohol is evident, but not overwhelming. Overall, a very aggressive beer with the charred, dark roast character, but oh so tasty.
3.4 Tap at Aifur, Stockholm. Unknown. Aroma of chocolate and dark fruit. Sweet with a mild chocolate and fruit end.
3.6 Bottle, Hlemmur Square, Reykjavik. Pours a jet black with a beige head. Aroma: roasted malt, smoked malt, bitter cocoa notes. Taste: smoked malt, cocoa, mild coffee, charred wood flavours. Full bodied. Moderate smoked bitterness with a boozy finish. This was quite nice without being exceptional.
3.9 Thanks, Hannah and Wurdi! Black with little brown head. Aroma is smoked ham, a bit berries, melasses. Taste is sweet and sour berries with some salty ham. Drinkable and soothing. Very good. Solid.
4.1 Bottle. Black, darkest brown creamy brown head. Nice dark mellow smoked chocolate aroma, light seaweed, nice roast, mellow, a bit woodsmoke, pleasant chocolate, creamy chocolate mousse, vanilla wood. Chewy great smoked chocolate treat.
4.1 Bottle. Smoky coffee roast aroma. Smooth, not too sweet, perfect smoke content, really fantastic. Just drink it.
4.0 Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is dry smoke, chocolate, light ashes. Taste is chocolate, earthy, perfect amount of smoke. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Very good!

3.8 Bottle picked up by Jude in Iceland, (cheers Jude!). Consumed at home Friday 23rd November 2018 Pours black with a large tan head. Not picking up much smokiness here but it's good, a little black Treacle, bonfire toffee and roasted malt. Perhaps I do get some light smoked touches after all. Good. A7 P4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
3.7 Bottle (BB 05.06.19). Dark body, small tan head. Sweet tarry aroma with hops and leather. Thick mouthfeel, somewhat low carbonation. Sweet tarry taste with firm hoppiness, cocoa beans and leathery notes. This is smoked? Now that I read the description I can detect a light smokiness but it was not very present before (having it at room temperature BTW). I've had non-smoked stouts that somehow felt more smoky than this. Well, it's decent but not impressive.
3.4 750ml bottle @ Farees' Pours an opaque dark brown with a small tan head. Nose is toasted malt, moderate amount of peat, and hints of a roasted malt. Flavour is lightly bitter roasted malt with a peated quality throughout. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, low sweetness, and smokey.
3.6 750ml bottle at Farees'. Pours an almost black with a tan head. Aroma is very smoky, inky. Similar taste. Smoke beer lovers will definitely adore it, but it is not my case.
4.5 Bottle shared by dejan, thanks pal! Pours very dark chocolate with brown head. Full aroma, barrique, alcohol, smoke. Full body too, warming alcohol, wood, well smoked. Excellent.
4.0 Flasa z letiska. Vona udena alkoholova. Farba kavova, pena ziadna. Chut zacina sladko nastupuje udena a ide az do vyraznej horkosti s primesou alkoholu. Na konci ostava..
3.8 $9 for 12oz at Vinbudden. As Iceland goes, this is as good a deal as they come. Near-zero head, but what's there is elegant and clean. Pitch black beer. Smells heavily of alcohol, otherwise roasty and some nuts. Pretty great palate honestly, full body, creamy. Taste is mildly sweet, fairly bitter, a bit of unami. Hints of chocolate, but really not too strong, definitely a bit of smoke in there but it's reasonably subtle.
3.8 750ml bottle...kept cold and pumped for two days after opening, so the carbonation had faded at this point. This is definitely a skewed rate..more of a journal entry than the hyper-accurate numerical score generally attributed. Deep, thick malts, really nice in that regard. Big smoke tones sort of meld with the alcohol tones and gets a little intense, but I love the real malt tones, as opposed to fake me out sugary American Stouts of late. Really enjoyable, well made stuff. Makes me wonder what a glass would go for in Iceland. Solid.
3.5 16.9 oz. bottle, consumed on 2-6-18. Pours a reddish, medium to dark brown with a small amount of short-lasting, beige head. Lack of head does the appearance no favors. Sweet, cherry-like aroma. Caramel and prune scents. English yeast smell. Light to moderate smokiness in the aroma. A metallic whiff. I like the aroma increasingly upon multiple sniffs. Dry, smoky flavor. Much drier in taste than it smells, thankfully. Dry raisin. Medium body, light for the ABV. Almost scratchy in the throat, somehow. A tad undercarbonated, it seems, but still some liveliness. A surprisingly simple beer but an adequately enjoyable one. I’m a big fan of both smoked beers and imperial stouts, and this is both, so the fact that I only moderately like it isn’t a great sign, but, then again, I do indeed like it. I was hoping for more and better. Blander than it should be. I’m being hard on it because it should be better than it is, but it is pretty good. 7.3.8.3.14=>3.5
3.8 Bottle from notes. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have chocolate, smoked malts, earthy, some dark fruit, good smoked beer.
4.0 Czarne nieprzezroczyste piwo z średniej wielkości pianą. Aromat lekko dymionych słodow, nuty palone, pieczona skórka chleba. W smaku nuty dymionych słodow, nuty palone, trochę kawy i gorzkiej czekolady. Dobre piwo dymione
3.8 Aroma is smoke, caramel and roast Pours dark with a thin, tan head. Taste is caramel and light cocoa, moving to strong smoke and light coffee. Finish is smoky.. Excellent smoked beer.
3.6 Almost black, no head. Aroma has lots of smoke, some alcohol. Taste is smoke, alcohol, malt, some dark fruits. Medium sweet, medium bitterness, mostly from alcohol. Not so exited of this beer, Iceland has some better stouts.
4.5 Black with tan head. Aroma of chocolate malts, roasted malts, and smoke (as listed on the label). Taste is dark chocolate and smoke to keep it from being heavy. Everything as advertised.
3.7 Beer shared at RBAG 2017. Thanks me. Aroma is toasted malt. caramel, and dark malt. Taste is boozy rye, smoked malt and stuff.
3.5 Bottle - Dark cocoa and some light smoke. Jet black brown with a decent beige head. Cocoa and some light smoke with a long roasty bitter finish.
3.8 Faska, Inferno Lund. Svart öl med ett större brunt skum. Doft och smak är mjölksocker, choklad, rökighet, rökt korv, trä och rostad malt.
4.0 750 ml. no bottling date. Ebony with an inch of sponge on a hard pour, settling to a thin creamy film. Aroma is smoke, toffee, cherry, soy and coffee. Tastes of sourish cherry/berry mix and caramel are quickly overtaken by some smoky/charred wood. Finish has soy, smoked beef, sour cream and molasses. Medium-heavy body has smooth medium carbonation and a nice balance.
