2.8 Puszka 0,5 l. Piwo ciemnobrązowe, lekko opalizujące. Piana beżowa, średnio gruba i średnio obfita, trwała, z lekkim lacingiem.
2.6 Can, from Tito, bought in Quayaquil, pours a dark black color with a java head. Nose is rich ‘ burnt ‘ heavy malt. Taste is malty, some chocolate with a heavy thick texture. Finishes on the heavy malted notes.
3.2 Bottle. Black with shades of red and a nice beige head. Aroma of cocoa and dark chocolate. Tste is grains, roasted malts, cocoa and bitter chocolate. Moderate bitterness and a little sour aftertaste. Low to medium carbonation. A little bit watery. Good value for money.
2.5 From the bottle. Dark brown with a fleeting, foamy head. Aroma full of roasted grain, cereals, a bit stale, hints of expired chocolate. Taste is sweet with a mild roasted note at the end. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Used the rest for cooking.
3.3 0.5l can from Aldi. Black body, brownish creamy head. Moderate aroma, chocolate, caramel. Bit of roasted/smoked malt. Taste is chocolate, bit of caramel, coke and coffee. A bit of sourness in the aftertaste. Mild carbonation, pleasant silky palate. A bit watery. A bit simple, but otherwise OK, a drinkable dark beer.
2.9 500ml can from Edea, drunk at home on a warm October afternoon. Pours clear but almost dark enough to be opaque with a fluffy off-white head that lasted a minute or so, medium lacing but only for the duration of the head, no visible rising carbonation. Very dark reddish brown in colour. Aromas driven by malts, with molasses, toast and caramel. In the mouth, medium carbonation, some sweetness rising through the palate, thin texture, but not too watery, flavours similar to the aromas with more molasses and buttered toast, mild bitterness but otherwise very little hop presence and a medium-length finish. Overall, a competent Schwarzbier that is clean, tasty and refreshing.
2.8 Canned 0,50L. Dark brown color, medium bubbly aspect with creamy nut/white head of medium duration. Roasty and braced cereals aroma, light roast malt, cortex, asched wood. Light smooth taste, modest alcoholi parception, sirupy and roasty wood and braved cereals palate.
2.8 Megjelenésre bíztató ám ízre már kevésbé. A német tisztasági törvény szerint főzve doboz alapján, hát olyan is.
2.7 Can. Pours brown just slightly see through, no head remains. Aroma of cookies, medicinal herbs, caramel. Taste follows. Still trying to figure out schwarzbier vs. dunkel differences, cause in a blind test I'd probably have guessed dunkel. Anyways, it's not really my thing. Thin and caramely. Meh.
3.2 0,5 can. Its color matches black beer, very deep brown but transparent. Its head is brown, quilted, faded, but beautiful. It has a strong malt aroma, you can also feel a little dark chocolate, maybe even plums and coffee. Not bad. Taste a little watery. Dry, coffee, roasted malt flavor, but not full-bodied. One of the brown / black beers is a good drinking beer, I used to remember once I bought a carton. I wouldn't buy that much now. Good value for money, but not outstanding. A barna/fekete sörök közül egy jó ivó sör, régebben emlékszem egyszer vettem egy kartonnal. Most azért annyit nem vennék. Ár értékben jó, de nem kiemelkedő.
2.7 Jörg 3,50 flaskan. Svart med mörkt skum. Svag arom. Lite kaffe, russin och malt i smaken. Svagt kolsyrad. Lätt vattnig men testades mot Celebrator som är på en annan nivå. C märkte det tydligt. Taskig test jag vet...
2.8 Can, 0.50l, courtesy of P&E. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and honey. Clear dark brown color with large frothy tan-like head, fair lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet roasted malt and caramel, follows by honey and grass, finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Nothing special....
2.2 Mucho sabor a caramelo. Características Lager. Poco amargor, espuma débil, color café ligero. No la volveria a tomar. Presentación de 50cl, en lata.
2.7 Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local 'toom', best before March 2018. Clear, very dark red to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, light beige head. Sweetish, malty, slightly roasty and a bit grassy aroma of dark chocolate, caramel and some straw. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly roasty and a little grassy taste of caramel, dark chocolate and some straw, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly grassy and a little metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
2.7 Flasche im Supermarkt gekauft. Dunkles Braun, viel hellbrauner Schaum. Aroma: Etwas dunkle Schokolade, Karamell, Zitrone. Geschmack: Kalter Kakao, Malz.Schmeckt schnell abgestanden
3.1 Aroma: Malty sweet with roasted coffee and caramel. Flavour: Fairly malty sweet with fruits and notes of coffee. Colour: Dark brown with a tan head.
2.5 Clasic not bad and not good dark beer. Almost not carbonatet, so it seem like dead. But taste is not good. 2.5 for real.
2.6 Rating notes found from january 8th. 33cl bottle at home, bought in Meppen Germany. Pours a almost pitchblack colour with a creamy beige head. Aroma of metal, roasted malt, dark malts, caramel, bread. Taste is fairly sweet, soft bitter with moderate dry finish. Notes of roasted malts, caramel, metal. Texture is thin, medium bodied with average carbonation
2.7 dark brown, almost black with thick tanned head, aroma of roasted malt and metal, taste is maunly roasted, fine bitterness and the carbonation is just right.
2.6 Canned, 500 ml from market in Belgrade, shared with Domagoj. Dark reddish brown with beige head. Malty, caramel, sweet, bread, some raisins. Bit sugary. Medium bodied. Not that bad.
3.5 An almist black, german Schwarzbier with creamy, light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, yeast, light prune. Taste is bitter.
2.3 bottle @ supermarket (budapest) browinish color, normal body, average carbonated, semi-sweet, roasted malty, caramel, waterish
2.8 Aroma and flavor of roasted malt. Dark, minimal head. average carbonation, astringent finish.
3.3 Zagyva szirup halmaz, máz ízzel, lefolyoba végezte, oda is való. Nincs új a nap alatt. Revisited @ 2021 na azért nem olyan rossz ez mint anno lefestettem, de most legalább nem végezte a lefolyóba, hacsaknem a humán lefolyó is ide számít. tudniillik nyelőcső. a vizes testessége most is átűtő erejű, mellé egy kis pörkölt malátásság és decens komlózás párosul.
3.3 Clear really dark amber color with big lasting beige head. Aroma is roasted malt. Flavor is malt, caramel, sweet.
2.7 500ml can (Random place, Berlin) Stinky sweet aroma. Dark, beige tight head. Almost decent roasty burnt taste. Watery palate, thin. Some slight fattiness in the hoppy bitter finish, which I also quite like. Went into this expecting to hate it, because of Herr Doktor Oetker’s reputation as a war crimial, but this isn’t crazily bad at all. I would not chose this, but I could drink it again.
2.5 500ml can (Alus Tirgus, Bergi). Very dark brown color. Small size, brown color, stays. Roast, nutty, caramel, CO2, minerals in aroma. Roast, nutty, caramel, papery, some hop extract in taste. Caramel and some roast in aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Light body. Artificial sweetener everywhere. Drinkable, but naah.
3.1 Can at home. Nice deep dark colour. Aroma of roasted malt and caramell. Taste is caramell and chocolate. Too high carbonation for me. Drinkable, pleasant one. I will buy next time.
3.0 50 c bottle. Dark color. Medium beige head. Short lasting retenetion. Malts and vegetables aroma.Cocoa, malts and chalk flavor.
3.3 Aroma: roasted dark malts, caramel. Appearance: black color and creamy head. Taste: low bitterness, roasted dark malts, caramel, burnt malt, quite dry. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, roasted finish. Overall: Decent schwarzbier.
