3.1 Bottled at TGIF, Miami Clear light golden with a medium white head. Sweet and cereal aroma and flavour. Some fruity hops; citrus and green apples. Light bitterness.
2.0 Bottle from World Market. Pale gold with a tiny white head. Aroma is wet cardboard, bread. Flavor is wet cardboard, healthy cereal with no flavor, hose water, light glue. If I had celiac's, no way I'd turn to this.
3.0 Bottle poured a clear gold with a small lasting creamy white head. Aromas of bread, fruitiness and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, light earthiness and a hint of yeast with a smooth finish.
3.0 Bottle - pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is grassy and cardboard. Taste is cereal and nutty with a light malt sweetness.
3.0 Pour from a 12oz bottle. Lighter shade of pale gold with fizzy white head that quickly fades. Some lacing. Aroma of mild grass. Taste is minimal malt up front with a pleasant grassy bitter hops emerging almost immediately. Sustains the grass through to the finish, though it seems to fade at the very end, leaving just a dry astringency. An enjoyable if simple brew.
3.0 33 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma is grassy and skunky. Dry, herbal, grassy and straw. Skunky and grassy finish.
2.7 Bottle from a supermarket in Oregon. Aroma is grainy malt, straw, soft bready and very grainy with a slight grassy hoppy touch. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Body is bordering on medium. Not that bad, bit dull but drinkable for a gluten-free Lager.
2.7 Bottled, 355ml from The Beerd, Oxford. Hazy yellow gold with white head. This is pretty thin with a dry, strained tea maltiness. Thin on the palate. Not getting it really.
2.3 BB021117. Poured a crystal clear pale amber with a one-finger bright white foamy head that retained OK but laced poorly. Carbonation high, lively and coarse. Aroma of pale malt and slightly sweet citrus. Taste is malty with slight grain and moderate sweetness. Light body, bordering on watery. Crisp and smooth with a bit of an unpleasant tart finish.
2.9 270217.Bottle from Dan Murphy’s. Just not feeling it with this beer. Initially looks very clear when poured into the glass. White head and dull lemon rind colour. The flavour is okay and a bit basic. Thin bodied with a light finish.
2.9 Bottle. Golden and clear with no head. Cardboard like flavour which was far from present. My first from this brewery and definitely not a good start.
2.4 Bottle from M&S, Metrocentre, Gateshead. Straw coloured with a thin white head. It has a sweet fruity, malty, lemon and grassy flavour followed by a sweet gentle floral fruity finish. Not bad.
2.8 Bottle. Clear pale yellow with small foamy whitish head, some lacing, faint haylike aroma, high carbonation, crisp taste, thin watery body, abrupt finish. Not too bad I must confess.
2.8 Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Pale malty nose, a hint of citrus, weak stone fruit note. Very lightly hazy gold straw color. Light grain, small bit of grass, wet paper, a little citrus. Thin body. A bit bland all around, even for a lager. Okay.
3.4 Quite normal and still do not get what is it about the label. Thin and good with some pizza at the same time.
3.1 355ml bottle from Master of Malt. Pale yellow golden colour, white foam head leaving some lacing and doughy malt aroma. Taste is malty & grainy, straw, with grassy bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry grassy bitter finish. Quite OK.
3.8 12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 5/5/2016. Pours fairly crystal clear pale straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast notes present. Moderate dryness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a very good Pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
2.8 Kullankeltainen kirkas olut melko pienellä ja nopeasti katoavalla vaahdolla. Tuoksu maltainen ja lagerille epätyypillisesti kivasti hedelmäisellä ja sitruksisella otteella höystetty. Maku maltainen ja ruohoinen. Tuoksun hedelmäisyys jatkuu kivasti myös makuun nostaen kokonaisuuden peruslagerien yläpuolelle. Katkera jälkimaku. Melko kevyt suutuntuma, hiilihappoja aika kevyesti. Oikein raikas ja kivasti erilainen, hieman pils-suuntaan kurottava lager.
2.8 Clean and gluten free, smooth and refreshing. Light body and no aftertaste. Great for gluten free interets
3.0 12 oz bottle from Marks & Spencers, Camberley. A really pale straw in colour with a trace of white head and gentle carbonation; light grainy aroma; soft grainy taste, with a fizz in the mouth; a dusting grassy hops and a then sweeter finish. Bonus points for being GF, but otherwise a very standard lager.
3.3 I thought was a very solid, drinkable beer! Really smooth and could easily take the place any mass produced beer your might have for a gathering. And for your friends who might be gluten free...bonus!
3.2 330ml bottle from Appellation Wines, cheers Ash! Pours clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of corn and white sugar. Taste is grassy, generic lager vibe. Light astringent finish. Not bad, considering.
3.0 Bottle @ home Clear pale golden, minimal white head Hops, cereals, grain, citruses Citruses, hops and some grapefruit and cereals
3.2 12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a moderately hazy yellow with a white head of foam. The aroma has lemony grainy notes. I get taste similar to what I would expect from a radler/shandy. Very lemony and a touch wheat. This beer is nothing like I was expecting. Very light in body and easy drinking. Medium to low carbonation. Not bad, really.
2.7 Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - deep golden with a decent head. Nose - sweetcorn and green beans. Taste - more corn plus honey. A touch sweet generally. Palate - it could be fresher than this. Overall - if a lager doesn’t refresh it doesn’t really do anything.
1.2 Bottle @ home, offered via the back of my fridge, clean yellow appearance with a thin white head. Aroma has stale malts, cardboard, bland grassy hops. Watery, thin, bland, cracker flavor. Not much going on and certainly not as good as some of the other Omission releases.
3.2 Bottle - Light sweet grains. Clear pale gold with a nice white head. Light and very sweet with almost not bitterness. Almost too sweet.
3.5 Omission Lager is a refreshing and crisp beer, brewed in the traditional lager style. Perfect for a variety of beer drinking occasions, Omission Lager’s aromatic hop profile offers a unique, easy-drinking gluten-free beer for those looking for a lighter and approachable beer style. Light hops, crisp, clean. Drinkable but not much body. What I would expect from a lager.
2.4 For the attempt of of gluten free, this is actually decent in its design and execution. Nice stead malts with a touch of hops. Though its flaw is the aftertaste. Very soapy
1.9 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow-gold color with a medium sized fluffy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sour, tangy, macro lager with citrus and perfume underneath. The flavor was grainy, citric and bitter with floral and herbal hops and an off presence. Long finish. Medium body. Not good.
