3.5 Bottle.dark golden colour with off White head.Aroma hoppy with hint of pepper, malt and caramel mild bitter and taste overall beer.
4.0 Fin sødme og en god humle der passer til. En tør eftersmag der slutter i noget kornsmag.
2.3 Interesting in a very basic kind of way. I would describe it as a beginner craft beer. Hops on the very front of the tongue. Not really any other flavors to speak of.
2.7 I’ve passed over this brewery countless times but in these dire times and for chance of new brewery tick today is the day. Amber pour small head. Nose is caramel and brown sugar. Tastes the same plus some cardboard and cobwebs. Odd mouthfeel like a soda almost.
2.9 Bottle (27-May-18) Sweet spirit herbal aroma. Deep amber, ok head and spider suds lacing. Sweet light malt, spirit herbal flavour. Bitter spirit herbal finish and herbal candy aftertaste.
3.2 Bottle... Pours hazy and burnt-orange with a large, frothy, off-white head. The aroma is lightly caramely and slightly citric. Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. The flavor is crisp and refreshing, but mainly nondescript. Perfectly balanced. Considering this is likely brewed with a lot of sorghum and/or corn and/or rice, being nondescript is not at all a bad thing. There's a little caramel in the otherwise short, refreshing finish. If I was gluten-free, I'd hit this on the regular. Fortunately, I'm not.
2.7 pale, golden, amber, orange, clear, hazy, cloudy, rocky head, frothy, minimal head, white foam, light sweetness, medium sweetness, heavy cloying sweetness, lightly bitter, medium bitterness, very bitter, lightly sour, medium sourness, heavily sour,
3.4 Bottle. It pours a clet holdcolor with a thin white head. It has a hoppy floral aroma with caramel notes. The taste is lightly bitter. For a gluten free ale it is not bad.
2.8 Bottle - pours dark orange with a white head. Aroma is caramel and lemon. Taste is caramel with a citrus finish.
3.2 Smelled wheat followed by honey and barley. Poured a amber color with frothy off-white head. Less flavor than the smell. Got caramel, toffee, lemon, and honey. Light body. Thin texture. Lively carbonation. Dry, citrusy finish
3.0 25-AUG-2017, bottle @home, present from August, thx. :-) Pale golden with a lasting, White head. Aroma is hops and spice. Taste the same. Malty, toasted. Hops are not very characteristic. A Little citrus and spice. Metallic. Medium body, OK.
3.3 Flaske, medium karbonering, fint skum, mørk ravfarve, klar. Duft af grapefrugt, blomster, malt. Smag af caramel, malt. Let bitter finish. Fin pale ale.
3.4 Kobberfarvet og lettere ufiltreret APA aka American Pale Ale med større offwhite skumtop, som langsomt svinder til først snelandskab og dernæst et par mm tykkelse. Let perlende i glasset.
3.0 Bottle, 35,5cl. Pours warm golden, towards amber with medium, settles one-finger off-white head. Malty, fruity aroma. Floral and caramel. Light bready with more sweetish aroma and flavour as it warms. Flavour caramel, fruity malty with light, subtle toffee and biscuit in the middle. Perhaps, sadly a little dry, cardboard towards the end. Not very hoppy. Quite okay alright. Not quite as cardboardy as other glutenfree’s out there.
2.9 35cl fles. Helder oranje kleur, fijne romige witte schuimkraag. De geur van karamel en tropisch fruit. Smaak is zoet, citrus, karamel en licht tropisch fruit. Medium Lichaam, Weinig koolzuur.
2.8 12 oz. bottle pours a slightly hazy golden/amber with moderate off-white head and slight lacing. Aroma is not strong, but has bready malts, floral hops, and something like cardboard. Taste is bitter but not bitter enough to make me notice. Body is light to medium with a creamy mouthfeel and not much carbonation. I have no reason to try this one again.
3.2 Bottle. 5.8%. Best before 04.10.17. Pours a slightly hazy golden/amber, with an off-white/yellowish head. Good lacing. Sweetish, floral, citrusy and spicy hop aroma with a light malt note in the background and a hint of a cardboard overtone. Orange peel? as it warms. Flavour is fruity hops on a malty background. Hint of cardboard. Light metallic note as it warms. Mild to medium bitter finish, lingering, along with a grassy hop note followed by an apple note. Light milky note as it warms. Overall okay; while it does have some hints of it, it’s nowhere near as ’cardboardy’ as other gluten free beers I’ve tried. 13.06.17.
3.3 Not much head, but nice coppery colour. Eudjkdkdlkdjhjdkdiqoslqbbdkoldi ifofocuwidocooo idiot ovo
2.8 355mL bottle from Bucket Boys. BB 11.11.17 Pale copper body, small white head. Malty sort of nose - toffee, biscuit, subtle floral hop. Stodgy body, carbonation somewhat low. Once again, malt sort of drives the body - toasted bread crust, browned caramel, touch of diacetyl, hops take a backseat despite the premise of hops - cooked citrus I guess - feels a bit oxidised overall, odd bitterness. Probably one of the better gluten free/reduced beers I’ve come across - not nearly hoppy enough though.
2.8 330ml bottle at 5.8% Las Vegas airport. Enjoyable for a gluten free beer. Little head, pours clear.
3.3 This is gluten free so I expect it to be a little off from what we are all used too. Unlike its brother, the lager, it is surprisingly similar to the normal class of beers with gluten. Heavy on the bittering hops but you get used to it pretty quickly. This is now my normal nightly beer as I watch my surger intake. I still have craft brew nights occasionally. Just don’t get the lager!
3.4 Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Halifax. Amber with a small head. Has a nice pale ale texture with a light fruitiness.
3.0 Bottle at home. Hazy dark yellow with a creamy off white head. Aroma medium malty (caramel) and hoppy (grassy, citrusy). Flavor light+ sweet, medium hoppy (herbal, spicy). Medium body.
2.2 BB 11 11 17. Poured a hazy amber with a one-finger beige foamy head that retained very well and laced OK. Carbonation moderate to high, lively and fine to medium. Aroma lightly of sweet caramel malt; no obvious hops. Taste of slight honey-like sweetness, a hint of caramel and slight hops spiciness; moderate to strong tartness that diminishes as it warms. Light body with a thin mouthfeel. Smooth and slightly dry with a tart lingering finish.
2.8 Type: 12.0-oz. bottle Glass: Lagunitas mason jar From: Left over from the in-laws Price: N/A Purchased: N/A; Received March 12, 2017 Consumed: March 15, 2017 Reviewed as: American Pale Ale Misc.: Bottled on July 29, 2016 Had this after the Gellar’s left this and a few others at a recent birthday party for my daughter. Had the lager version of this awhile back and gave it a 3.35. Having less hope for this one, especially since it’s almost 20 months old. Poured a copper amber clear color with three fingers of frothy off-white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass, looking like a snow globe. Outstanding uneven foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.25) Smelled lemon, floral, toasted caramel, leafy grass and some orange family flavors. Better than I thought with how old it was. (Smell - 3.50) Less tasteful flavors on the taste than the smell. More malty than the nose. Got floral, caramel, hints of toffee, lemon, spoiled orange rind, thin woody pine needles and honey. (Taste - 2.75) Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Dry, citrusy finish. (Feel - 2.75) Well it wasn’t the worst beer I’ve ever had. I will try to come back to it and have it fresher, but I certainly will no buy it. (Overall - 3.00) 3.07 70 C+
2.6 Not really ’bold and hoppy’, but rather on the safe side. Decent and quite forgettable. Some hops, medium carbonation.
3.1 Bottle. It pours hazy deep golden with a creamy off white head. The aroma is grassy and citrusy with toasted malty notes. The flavor is malty and light herbal hoppy. Citrus and grassy.
3.1 Clear golden pour and light malt nose. Clean crisp subtle malt taste. A positive lasting bitter malt finish is the saviour of this beer. Good for GF.
