3.6Like this one overall. It's more like alcoholic soda than anything else but that's new for me. Aroma was ripe black cherry with a hint of cocoa. Appearance was cola-like with a third a glass of foam when hard-poured. Taste is all cherry cola and effervescence. Good but not spectacular. Lastly, a couple tenths deducted for the metallic aftertaste. Not overwhelming but noticable all the same.
3.4Tap at kleine duivel. Dark red brown , creamy head. Dry eggy, paprika, cherry skin nose. Medium light mellow, berry, retronasal. A bit breakfast cereals on the palate.
3.912 oz. bottle pours a dark purplish brown with a small beige head that leaves lacing along the glass. The aroma fruity with strong notes of cherry, dark stone fruits, and hints of belgian yeast. The mouthfeel is moderately full with about average carbonation. The taste is complex and slightly tart. There's a woody earthiness. The cherries come through, but there are also hints of raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries. Overall, this is a deliciously complex, sweet, and tart belgian ale.
4.2750ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a huge frothy beige head and has a slightly murky amber appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of cherries immediately spring out, various dark berries, earthy and herbal notes, bready malt. Flavours are mostly dark and dried fruits, cherry at the forefront but with a mixture of plums, raspberries and other slightly sour like berries. Quite tarty and some sourness on the palate. Nice drying and slick mouthfeel.
2.6Backlog, ruby red color with a smaller pink head. Nose and flavor of cherry juice, plums, berries, and some weird metallic funk. I dig cherry beers but the off metal notes ruined it for me. Light to medium
3.2Bottle: Ruby pour with a thin light khaki head. Lots of cherry and light citric notes n the nose. Light body. Mildly tart and softly fruity. Simply cherry. Clean finish. Simple.
3.3Bottle found in Grand Canyon Village Market - reddish color, small white head. taste is cherry. quite sweet, parfume like. medium dry. bit liquor like. okay.
3.8Sample from bottle. Poured brownish/red, white head. Aroma of cherry, floral, mild vinegar. Taste was mild sour, tart, sweet, berry, cherry.
3.6Dark tan head very creamy head good retention. Aromas medium cherry, slight dough, slight cask, slight wood. Flavors aged medium cherry, slight wood, slight earthy, slight faint toffee in the finish but mostly cask and aged cherries. Medium Sweet. Pretty nice but just a tad watery feel and could use a little more cherry kick or more complexity.
3.9330 ml bottle, pours so dark red it borders on brown. Medium body. Fantastic sour cherry and oak aroma.Tart wood and cherry taste, long finish.
3.5Muddy brown. Deep cherry flavor, tart, highly carbonated. Dark fruit sweetness and molasses in the finish. Wood aged flavors, wine barrel and alcohol.
3.6750 ml bottle. Hazy amber color, thin reddish head. Aroma of tart cherries with woody notes. The taste is sweetish-tart, dominated by cherries, with some oak notes and dried fruits. Tasty.
3.7Oaky, a bit of sweetness, a sort of dried cherry note mixed with some tobacco flavors, a very mild tartness as well. This is more of an oud bruin than a fruit beer. It's good.
3.9Bottle: Poured a deep reddish color ale with a light reddish color head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of huge cherry notes with some oak and light residual sugar notes is quite enjoyable. Taste is a nice mix cherry notes with some light residual sugar notes, some oak and light tart notes. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation. It had been a while since I tried a Liefmans beer but I now remember that I should drink them more often.
4.0Part of the LCBO 2018 seasonal beer program, a very nice cherry flavoured beer. The cheery is a bit on the sour side, but overall a very good beer.

3.8Bottle. Brown color, white head. Aroma has cherries, some sweet notes. Taste has cherries, sour notes, some farm notes.
5.0Great example of an ole bruin. This is a great "starter sour". Lightly sour but the core brown comes through. Slighyt caramel melds with the lactic and brett to make a very quafable beer
3.79/29/18. On tap at Brocach. Dark amber/brown pour under a nice khaki head. Tart aroma, cherries, touches of wood, funk. Sour flavor, tart, cherries, some dark fruit, hints at funk, wood. Tasty enough.

3.9Pours deep red brown with a fizzy light tan head that fades slowly. Aroma is strongly of cherries. Very active mouthfeel. Taste is sweet and fruity with a touch of sour and some mild malt backbone. Quite active mouthfeel. Very enjoyable for the style - for cherry lovers to be sure.
3.4This is a cherry flavored beer as you can clearly see from the label on the front of the beer bottle. I was very anxious getting this beer. Sorry it not not my kind of beer. Still not a bad beer.
3.6Bottle. Aroma of cherries and malt. Cherries, vanilla, light body. Could have used a little more body.
3.9Been a while since I drank a beer brewed with cherries- Maybe I’ve been missing something! Great aroma and colour, gentle edge of sourness in the taste.
3.8Bottle. What a nice beer. The aroma and taste was of cherry but very pleasantly so. After taste was really nice.
