3.8 Flaska från Kihoskh. Tack Vignale. Kolsvart utan skum. Rom och choklad präglar både doft och smak. Inte jättekomplex och väl söt men maffigt med mörkt socker, fat, rom, söta russin och mycket mörk söt kladdig choklad. Gott

4.1 1st October 2018 Opaque black - brown beer, good tan head. Smooth airy palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, trace of licorice. Whisper.of wood. Super smooth rum and very well integrated. A little woody bitterness and spice on the finish which also brings dark malt cream. Yeah - smooth, rich but so quaffable.
4.4 0.33l bottle. Pours jet black with small tan head. Aroma of wood, roast, dark chocolate, lots of vanilla. Taste is vanilla, woody, dark chocolate, roast. The barrel is present, but it's more of a bourbon aroma and taste, rather than rum. Some caramel is present. Full bodied, soft carbonation.
3.8 Tasting with Višnja 666, September 2017. Bottle. Black, small tan head. Aroma is alcohol, rum, roasty, dried fruits, raisins and prunes. Sweet, sticky, full body.
3.5 16/20 really sweet imp stout, certainly taste the vanilla, very smooth, bit of rum in the aftertaste mixed with chocolate, pretty great
4.1 Booze in the first plan, heavy liquor, cocoa and chocolate. Pitch black color with minimal sized brown head. Again alcohol, chocolate, rum cake and cocoa, sweet licorice, biscuit. Full body, oily, soft carbonated. Nice and very long rum cake finish. Burning sensation in the throat. //bottle thanks to Veco
3.8 330 ml bottle, nearly black, beige, quickly disappearing head. lots of rum, hazel nuts, chocolate, vanilla, some dried fruits, a little wood, some hints of ginger, caramel, some alcohol. full, oily body, medium (to heavy) sweetness, medium roastyness, light bitterness, slightly warming finish.
3.8 330 ml bottle at home. Pours a very dark chestnut brown with a light red-brown head. The aroma is full of rum and wood, vanilla, hazelnuts, coconut and cocoa. Medium-full to full body with a soft but tingling carbonation a medium to heavy sweetness and a light bitterness. The flavor is full of sweetish roasted malt - molasses, dark chocolate, dates, raisins, hazelnut - along with wood, rum, vanilla and quiet some booze. Finishes with a surprisingly roasty bitterness and lots of licorice. For me not entirely balanced, although I enjoy it more and more upon warming... way better when warm. 4.0 Bottle at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a light tan head. Tobacco, blackcurrant jam and liquorice toffee aroma. Flavours of coffee, molasses, blackcurrant jam, more liquorice. Exceedingly rich, warming and tasty.
3.6 Bottle from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat, enjoyed at Aaserød (Soltun) Pours black with a small creamy tan head. Aroma of dark malts, light roast, dark berries and tar. Taste is smooth roasty malts, noticeable rum sweetness and burn towards the long sweet finish
3.8 Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Drukket på Bergstua. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum - framprovisert ved kjempehøy kvelling. Aroma av rom & kokos. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Smaken som aromaen. Utmerket - men mangler variasjon.
3.4 The aroma is full of rum, vanilla beans, marshmallows and chocolate. The color is pitch black. The taste is full of rum, vanilla beans, marshmallows, chocolate, coffee, caramel, fudge, dried fruits and booze. A nice beer!
3.4 [backlog z notatek] btl. ABV: 12%. W aromacie głównie beczka: kwaskowata, drewniana, rumowa. W smaku mocno palące - rum przesłania wszystkie inne nuty. Wytrawne, palone, melasowe, intensywne.
3.7 Bottle at Haket Beerfestival #3 cons 2018-03-24 Göteborg AR: rum and raisins AP: bourbon brown, no head F: Jamaican rum, raisins, warming feeling
3.9 Much better that the base version, rum, spices, coconut and vanilla, chocolate and a touch of alcohol, black with a thin tan head, full body, oily and thick, again vanilla, spices and chocolate, quite pleasant warming in the final...solid brew.
3.5 Fadøl på Himmeriget. Sød duft. Ikke specielt meget romsmag. Dejlig kraftig og fyldig smag.
3.9 Shared 33cl bottle. Pours almost black with a beige head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, oak, caramel, chocolate notes, vanilla, rum. Finish is a little harsh, but nice overall.
4.0 Aroma: lots of sweet rum; Appearance: pitch black with creamy dark tan head; Taste: rich, roasty, sweet, boozy, but not too sweet; good spice; Palate: heavy body with long, sweet finish: overall: delicious.
4.1 (330ml bottle from the Omnipollo webshop) Pours black with a tiny medium brown set of short-lived bubbles. Aroma of dark burnt sugar, pretty heavy rum, loads of wood too, chocolate, soft vanilla, more wood. Flavour has lots of dark malts dominated by burnt cane sugar, a bit of molasses, prominent dark rum, heavy wood, vanilla, a touch of fruit, light marshmallow, roast is pretty soft and well-integrated with the wood and spirit. Somewhat sweet up front but finishes very dry with smooth spirit heat and spiced rum notes. Medium plus body, oily, slightly below average carb. Lots of barrel here, interesting in that the wood is almost more dominant than the rum; either way the treatment is a good match for the base. Solid sipper.
3.9 Tap at Konttori. Pours black with beige head. Chocolate, caramel rum barrel, vanilla, roasted malts licorice. Full body soft carbonation.
4.0 Tap @ Konttori. Pours black with a beige head. Wood, rum, some alcohol, roasted malts in the aroma. Rum, cane sugar, roasted malts, sweet flavor.
4.0 Tap @ Omnipollo Tap Takeover, Konttori. Pours black color with a steady beige head. Quite nice aroma with rum, roasted malts, vanilla, dark chocolate. Flavor is roasted malty, wood, vanilla and syrup, brown sugar. Bordering too sweet palate but the bitterness helps, alcohol of course well hidden. Nice. 5426
4.1 Bottle, thx to lambister. Black color, white head. Deep aroma has rum, roasted malts, chocolate, barrel notes. Smooth roasty taste, rum barrels, chocolate, coffee. Quality from omnipollo.
4.4 Rumpraline par excellence. Kaffeesatzgelee mit LactoSugarÜberzug✨👌😉 Boozelakritzy & full of MeltBrownieness😋🍄 . 0,33l Buddel von BEYOND BEER HH. 8 Euro !?
3.9 330ml bottle from hopburnsblack.co.uk. Black colour with tan head. Big sweet burnt dark malts, burnt marshmallows, big rum barrel, big molasses, spices, nice warming alcohol, Omnipollo slight artificial notes, black coffee, light woodiness, burnt brown sugar, burnt vanilla beans, coffee liqueur, melted milk chocolate. Full body, super rum forward - maybe a little bit too much. Pretty sickly sweet but works well as a dessert beer.
3.8 Very dark brown to block with brown head. Aroma is boozy and rum rich up front with plenty of sweetness following, dark malts, milk chocolate and sweet coffee. Taste is smooth, slightly roasted dark malts, milk chocolate, sweet coffee and slightly arrak spicy rum. Medium mouthfeel with noticeable alcohol warmth, light carbonation and warm, sweet rumy aftertaste.
4.9 Pours black, oily, no carbonation, minimal tan head, some spotted lacing. Gorgeous aroma of rhum, wood, chocolate and roasted malts. Tastes medium sweet and boozy, oily mouth feel, thick body, tastes of chocolate, roasted malts -not too roasty- , molasses, rhum and wood, fruity notes in the after taste. Perfect.
4.1 Bottle at home, 5th January 18. Pours black with minimal head. Aroma is barrel, wood, liquor, dark chocolate. Taste is wet wood, rum, brown sugar, molasses, bitter, dryish finish. Fantastic imperial stout to start the new year.
4.4 330ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head that's gone pretty quickly. Rum, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, oak, caramel, muscovado sugar, lots of sweet dark rum booziness. Big thick body. Had the night after the regular version and the barrel has helped more than I can really believe. The rum integrates really nicely, and (or perhaps the extra barrel time) has smoothed out all the other flavours really nice too. A well crafted big complex beer. Delicious.
