2.5 Tap. Cloudy red color. Small size, pink head, stays. Milky, sweet, peanut butter, toffee in aroma. Red currant mixed with peanut butter and tons of sugar. Heart attack material. Since it’s sweeter than political promises - no alcohol detected. Why do I have to drink it alone. Stuggle.
3.8 Bottle at home from alesela juicy, lots of blueberry, touch nutty perhaps but could be power of suggestion, juicy, blueberries, moderate bodied, gentle bitterness.
2.9 Bottle from Kris Wines, London - UK. Color: pours purple red beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: red fruits, berries, blueberries, bilberries, sour notes. Grassy and hoppy. Taste: fruity taste, strawberries and bilberries. Sweet vanilla balance, and grassy bitterness. Very strange mix. Sweet finish. Caramel and pecan. Very interesting beer with strange balance. Aftertaste: sourness and fruity with wet bitterness and grassy. Too extreme mix for me...
4.1 Dark red colour with nice pink head. Very fruity aroma, lot of sweet and citrus fruits, Semi-dry taste with some sourness, gentle bitterness, also lot of fruits, citrus and sweet. Very smoothie
3.6 33cl shared bottle at home from Kaapse Brouwers, Rotterdam. Body is hazy blood orange, head is small, pink, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Nose is strawberry, apple, flavor is grapefruit, orange peel, blue berries, pine resin, honey, spices, raisin. Medium to heavy sweet, light bitter, medium fruity sour. Finish is medium lasting fruity medium sweet sour, light but developing hoppy bitterness. Medium body, dry texture, soft carbonation. Easy, refreshing fruity summer beer, quite good.
3.9 Borefts 2015, Day one. Tap. Zoet fruitig notig heerlijke IPA. Backlog from 2015/09/25.
3.5 Bottle 330ml @ Patricks Pub og Restaurant, Kristiansand Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, passionfruit, grape, raspberry, peach and cranberries. Taste medium sweet and light bitter with a long fruity, passionfruit, grape and peachy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3.7 09-DEC-2015, bottle @home, from Systembolaget Emporia. Murky red/purple and a low pink head. Nice aroma of vanilla and tart blueberry. Taste the same with fruity hops as well. Citrus, grape fruit, alcohol. Sweet with a little hoppy bitterness. Nice and messy fruit drink:-)
3.3 Pours a darker, cloudy, blueberry pulp, purple color, with a decent, spongy white head. Smells of crisp lemon peel among a sweet fruitiness, blending into prominent, cakey malts. Red fruits and kumquat swirl around a very profound maltiness, soothed by a note of grass and refreshing water melon. Has a higher carbonation, with a refreshing mouthfeel to it, to which gets added a pleasant bitterness during the beers finish. The bitterness coorporates with equally pronounced malts outstandingly well, creating an exciting tenseness till the beer leaves the palate. Begins with dry lime peel and unripe currant among earthy, fermented blueberry. Among this strange but pleasant foundation settles a toffee malt profile, supported by the ripe fruitiness of nectarine, juicy pomelo and blood orange, struggling with each other until the malts prevail in the end. Those malt qualities get well entangled into the beers slowly developing bitterness, featuring even more lime than before, bringing back its fruitiness at a very late stage after the swallow. Very experimental ipa, with a well working interplay between fruits and malts, both relying and benefitting from each other. Its fruitiness is unique, already announced by the beers reddish color, while integrating the red fruits without forgetting about this still being a hoppy beer.
3.6 330ml bottle from Beergium BBE 09/06/16 - Pours dark reddish with a smooth head. Aroma of vanilla ice cream, berries, juicy fruits and mild lactic notes. Taste is smooth, slightly tart and fruity with some berries, smoothie like milky vanilla notes and hints of hops. Finish is smooth, juicy and milky with some vanilla and ice cream notes. Okay, but not quite as good as some of the other beers in this series.
Mycket god!
3.6 Grumlig, röd-orange, röd aktigt skum. Doft: Syrlig frukt, skog, hallon-blåbärs sylt, hallon smoothie. Stark 7:a. Smak: Björnbärs sylt, hallon, blåbärs, skog, humle, apelsinmarmelad, frukt smoothie. Stark 7:a.
3.5 Draught@CBC2015 (blue session). Pinkish red colour with a small white head. Aroma is berries and some mild nutty and vanillaish notes. Flavour is fruity, nutty, some mild vanilla and tart wooden notes with some sweet caramel maltiness to it. Surprisingly balanced beer from Omnipollo, usually some of these berry etc mixed do tend to be a bit messy. This one actually wasn’t!
3.5 Drank after Flying Lotus, Clockenflap 2015. Look is muddy maple syrup brown. Mininal white head. No lacing. Smells of lime, blueberry, medium to heavy malt, bready, nuts, pecan, nuts, light spice. Tastes of lime sourness, slick moderate bitterness. Body is medium, moderate slickness, light fizz. Tastes a touch unfresh but an otherwise interesting beer.
3.6 Bottle from Bottle Shop at home (had previously on tap there). Hazy purple-ish - unusual. A bit dull looking. Aroma is sour berry, fruity hops - sweet. Taste is sour berry burst at first, bitter bite. Sweet tart finish. Not bad, probably better fresh.
3.8 Flaska. Lätt beska, lätt syra i eftersmaken.
3.7 Bottle from beergium. Color is dark copper, brown. Thin head. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Light sour. Aroma is bluebuerry, passion fruit, hops, nuts. A bit off, but interesting!
3.7 33 cl bottle @ home. Hazy red beer with a medium, pink head, that vanishes almost instantly, non-adhesive. Aroma is berries, sweet, hoppy. Rather low carbonation. Taste is sour-sweet, berries, bit hoppy. Aftertaste is like a hoppy pink grapefruit. Weird, but I like it.
3.6 Wonderful blueberry aroma, with some sweetness from the nuts and vanilla. The initial fruit flavour is then overtaken by some sweetness , I guess from the lactose and nuts. Pity the beer wasn’t a sour, the aroma is fantastic
3.5 Dark pink, hazy, quickly deminishing foam. Strawberry and blueberry aroma with some malt body. The berries mix with the hops in the taste. Medium body but lasting taste and bitterness.
3.5 @ Agards väg 10/11-15. Bottle from Systembolaget. Hoppy and fruity with bilberries and some caramel. Body is medium, the finish is dry, fruity and hoppy.
3.5 @ Havregatan 151111. Bottle (330 ml) from Systembolaget. Fruity with berries, strawberries and apples, medium body with a watery to oily texture. The finish is dry and fruity.
3.8 Bottle. Clear pinkish pour with a fleeting white head. Mild berry bouquet. What is going on here. It’s like a fruity IPA. Nice balance with a big caramel malt backbone. Average body and mouthfeel.
3.6 330 mL bottle. Murky purple body. No head. Smells very citrusy. Grapefruit. Blueberry behind it. Lactose? Tastes of grapefruit up front. Lactose quickly behind it. Blueberry comes in third. I don’t get any of the other adjuncts. It’s an interesting combination, though. Medium carbonation and medium body. Just a hint of creaminess. Fascinating.
3.7 On bottle at Sandar Bryghus. Cloudy amber color, some foam. Medium high aroma intensity; blueberry, red berries & vanilla. Medium body & complexity. Good sourness, some bitterness- balances well. Very enjoyable
3.6 @ Basunen 15-11-07: riktig trevlig doft.
4.0 Without pouring it out and just stick my nose into the bottle. This beer seemed quite hoppy. Would not have guessed that this was a fruit beer. Kind of a deep red color with a pink-ish head. Quite hoppy and fruity aroma with a fine intensity. Medium + body and a fine smooth carbonation. Fruity (berries), pleasant mild lactic and hoppy flavor. Nice balance in this brew. Tasty and fresh stuff. [Bottle from Systembolaget Web order in Sweden]
3.4 BOTTLE 33 CL. Murky pink, small pinkish head. Smells of crushed fruit and juice - grapefruit and berries, hops with notes of citrus and pine (and some tobacco?). The taste follows the aroma - fruity and juicy, moderate hoppy bitterness. A bit salty maybe? Thick fruit pulp texture. I like the juicy fruit and the hops too, but not sure they are better together. Good enough.
