Omnipollo Nebuchadnezzar IIPA

Omnipollo Nebuchadnezzar IIPA

“Neb” is a home brew recipe that has been scaled up with no consideration to economies of scale. Some say idiotic, and as an economist I would have to agree. Get fresh or die trying.

3.5 Dipa in media allo stile, un po' sopravvalutata. Corpo non eccelso, fruttata, resina, amaro finale intenso e non pesante
4.5 09-12-2020; bottle; at home (bought at Saveur Bière, as part of their September 2020 discovery box). The beer looks nice. The color is a nice dark amber, with a nice amber glow. The beer has a nice haziness. On top there is a nice layer of soft frothy white foam. Foam retention is average. Some lacing and a small drape are left on the glass. Looks nice. The aroma of the beer is delicious. It is full and rich. Malts are nice and bisquity, with a nice grainy touch. Quite simple, forming a great base. On top of this there is a load of lovely hops. They give rich aromas of citrus, some lychee, nice pine aromas, a touch of resin and a whole flower shop is in there too. The floral aroma is lovely, so rich. And lovely with all the other hop aromas. The beer has a nice alcohol aroma too, going well together with the hops. Full, smooth and lovely. The taste of the beer is very nice too. Bitter hops, and lots of them. Nice sweetness from malts and alcohol. There is also a nice sour note from then more citrus hops. The result is a beer with a strong bitterness and a strong sweetness, but it is lovingly balanced. The palate of the beer is very nice. For an IPA, the body is quite full. Texture is lovingly smooth and the carbonation is medium. The finish is lovely. Alcohol warmth, nice floral hops, a fruit smoothy from all the lovely fruity hop aromas, and a nice piney touch. All in all, a great beer. Perfect example of an IIPA.
3.9 Aromat: sredniointensywny, klimaty lesne, choinkowe, nieco zywiczne, w tle owoce cytrusowe.
3.8 can. Poured dark amber with a subtle creamy off-white head. Sweet aroma with citrusyl hops. Medium bodied, tight carbonation, a oily mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet with lots of malts, notes of orange and caramel, bitter hops, peppery with a warning alcohol finish.
3.6 Clear pale gold. White head. Pine sap, forest honey, hay, malty. Mild sweetness, prominent bitterness. Noticeable alcohol. Too little carbonation. A little underwhelmed. Good, but would benefit from more carbonation and a more complex aroma.
3.8 Flaska: Deep golden, just a bit hazy, medium-sized rocky and lacy white head, that slowly collapses, moderate to solid sweet-bitter nose of wild honey, dried fruits and mildly tannic hops, some - not boozy - alcohol detectable underneath; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, pretty full bodied; lingering solid bitter-sweet honeyish-malty and tannic-bitter finish. A heavy IPA, incredibly well balanced and highly drinkable...
4.5 Taken in the evening, after a strenuous day, great DIPA, well-balanced and sweet, one of the best I had in this great style.
4.4 330ml bottle. Pours a mild gold with white head. Has massive classic American hop nose. Citrus, grass and pine. Medium body with a mild bitterness at the front and the same American hop flavours. Everything you want for classic iipa. Absolutely excellent.
3.5 Forte amertume, puis fruité, puis amertume persistante.
3.5 This Beer is an odd one, because it feels a bit more like a Lager/IPA hybrid. The aroma is incredibly weak, like a Lager, the taste is powerfully hopped and bittersweet, like an IPA, but there is more of an earthy quality as opposed to a fruity quality, like a Lager, and then the finish is clean and crisp, like a Lager, but grapefruit and caramel notes linger, like an IPA. But all that matters is whether or not this Beer is good, and it is. Read the full review here: www.beerwithus1.wordpress.com/2020/06/10/nebuchadnezzar

Aroma a cítricos, mango, caramelo.
3.9 Orange color with a big thick white head. Hoppy aroma with floral notes and a bitter hoppy finish.
3.8 33cl can at home. Orange-yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is heavy hoppy with tones of fruit and citrus. Sweet finish.
4.7 Wow, quite a DIPA. Strong dank aroma. Golden yellow with a big white head. Flavor was hoppy and perfectly balanced. Full bodied.
3.3 Golden hazy color. Aroma of hops, peach and floral. Very bitter Ipa with notes of pine and Lemon cest. A bit too bitter for my taste.
4.5 330 ml can. Unclear dark golden colour, medium head with good durability, fair lacing, soft carbonation. Nose is fruity, spicy, tangerine, pepper, sweetish malty background. Flavour is medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter, caramel malt, grapefruit. Perfect creamy mouthfeel, very thick, you can nearly chew it. Long and heavy bitter finish. Excellent!

3.4 Bottle 04.2020. Sweet aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple, mango. Not so intensive. Taste of citrus, tropical fruits. Medium-high hoppy bitter. Sweet, full body. low carbonation. Average, feeling dissapointed.

4.0 Bottle 0.33L. Hazy golden color with big, frothy, long lasting white head. Aroma of tangerine and similar citrusy fruits. Taste starts medium bitter and fruity. Finish is heavy bitter with grapefruit and some tart notes. Medium body, soft carbonation and very dry finish. Weird name, but good beer.
3.8 pours a pale clouded straw coloe with a 3 finger white cap...aroma s are of floral-citrus with sweet malts undertones....rich oily mouthfeel for a canned beer...tastes like a juicy east coast IPA but smooth and silky...musty...earthy...grainy sweetness...long rounded wet finish with hop intensity growing and a bitter after taste....alcohol is completely hiddenin this intense canned brew...very decent canned 2xIPA
3.8 It wasn't IPA season when I tried this, but I wish it had been because it may have had more of an effect. Still very nice.
4.0 Välhumlad, fruktig, trevlig eftersmak
3.3 Dåse: Virkelig old school IPA. Meget hårdt humlet. Duften er humle fra good ole US of A fra for 10 år siden.
4.1 Bottle found in Guadeloupe. Pours good foam with a clear orange body, smells of bright oily hops and heavy on the barn funk, working well. Flavour is more burlap and heavy hops interspersed, sweetness and earthiness in harmony. Has an excellent balance of oiliness and carbonation. This is extremely good, a big IPA that is getting things right.
