The fourth time we invite a home brewer to join us and Siren in a collaborative brew.

Once a year, home brewers are encouraged to send us their best brews Dave Strachan submitted a beautiful coconut Porter and so we decided to play along on that theme.

4.0 Smell-medium to strong, malt, syrup, caramel, cofee, sweet, cake, malt, nice. Foam-thin, roast, sweetness, syrup, coffee, malt sweet, bitter. Head is small, dark brown color. Appearance- nice cool bottle but generic black bottle cap.Weak to medium-ish carbonation, very dark brown color, but basically black. From- stout glass Price: 9+ euros... Taste- malty, sweet, syrupy, weak roast, caramel, sugar. Very sweet, tasty with mixed roast and malt, alcohol is hidden with sweetness, but you can tell this is strong stuff. Very nice.

4.2 0,2l on tap shared with wiosna @ Omnipollos Hatt. Pours very dark brown with a medium creamy tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts, maple syrup, alcohol. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, maple syrup, coconut, alcohol, hops. Tasty indeed.

4.1 Bottle @ Tobias. 35,5cl. Pours Black with a small beige head. Roast, vanilla, maple and coffee. Heavy maple. Soft. Tough

4.2 33 cl bottle @ Utsjoki, BBE 09.01.2022 Aroma has deep licorice tones and dark chocolate. Also cinnamon. Flavour has cinnamon, some ash, licorice and dark chocolate. Also tobacco and chocolate cake. Nice pastry stout.

3.9 330mL bottle, pours jet black with a small beige head. Aroma is intense, with a ridiculous amount of maple syrup and coconut upfront, followed by loads of molasses and brown sugar. Flavour is no less intense, with heaps of molasses, burnt brown sugar, maple syrup, and a touch of toasted coconut. Syrupy and viscous, fairly sweet but somehow not cloying. Really nice sweet, slow-sipping dessert beer.

4.8 Robe brune, presque noire, belle mousse crémeuse. Nez puissant et complexe, cacao, chocolat, café froid, noix de coco, notes lactées, noisettes grillées. Bouche puissante, riche, onctueuse, tout en restant harmonieuse et équilibrée, de la puissance et de la complexité et une finale d'une profondeur hors du commun. Une superbe bière à déguster pour elle-même.

3.7 Black with a thin tan head. Aroma of sweet roast malts. Flavour is sticky malt, coconut and maple syrup, bitter chocolate base, sweet finish.

4.2 0,3 litre On tap at Mikro’n Møllebyen, Moss. Almost Black, with light brown head. Roasted malts, coconut, maple, coffee, sweetness.

4.2 Ciemnobrunatne praktycznie czarne nieprzezroczyste piwo z niezłą pianą która szybko znika i nie zdobi szkła. Aromat syropu klonowego który przykrywa wszystko. W smaku najwięcej jest nut kakao, słodkie od syropu wytrawne od kakao

4.1 Drunk at The Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Dark brown with a dark beige head. Heavy body. Aroma of dark malt, roasted, toffee.

4.2 Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is maple syrup, malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, caramel, sweet, roast. Taste is the same, quite some maple syrup, sweet, malt, caramel, chocolate, sweet, vanilla, long sweet, malty, hint of coconut and ofcourse maple syrup. very nice.

4.2 Bottle on a corona Christmas Eve. No head. Black. Really nice smelling beer treacle, ginger cake, maple syrup. Taste is a bit more so blued and well balanced. Smooth on the palate. Caramel and chocolate. Warming. Sticky. An excellent beer no doubt.

4.0 33cl bottle. A black beer with a small tan lacing. Aroma of intense sweet dark chocolate malt, bourbon, vanilla. Taste of sweet intense chocolate, vanilla, lacto, bourbon, nice!

4.1 Color negro, opaca. Espuma marrón oscuro de medio dedo de espesor y corta retención. Aroma intenso, café moka, bizcocho, chocolate, ligero jarabe y caramelo un tanto quemado, notas alcohólicas. Sabor intenso, jarabe de arce, maltas y coco tostado, moka, caramelo y fondo de ligero chocolate, final medio largo, de ligero amargor tostado, dulzor azucarado y posgusto un tanto alcohólico. Textura oleosa, pegajosa al acumular tragos. Carbonatación baja. Un gustazo de cerveza. Al principio parece que los aromas y sabores de moka lo van a dominar todo, al ganar temperatura aparecen muchos y muy ricos tonos dulces.

4.9 Looks: black, with very low head. Aroma: chocolate, coconut, light coffee, light prune? Taste: sweet and light bitter. Soft.

3.9 Bottle @ DTU w Nissen, New A & Mr spark. Appearance: pours black with good beige soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, caramel, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, maple syrup, pastry, alcohol and cookie notes. palette: strong roasted malty aroma, average carbonation, full body, notable sweetness, unbalanced by a medium bitterness, long duration, sweet finish and a syrupy texture. Overall: intense pastry porter

3.5 Absolut dessertøl. Flydende chokolade kage.

5.0 Colore nerissimo con poca schiuma ambrata. Dal primo impatto profumo molto intenso di cioccolata. Sapore molto molto dolce. Gusto di cocco, cioccolato, crema al whisky. Retrogusto nel finale di caffè.

4.1 Bleck colour, brown head. Aroma: maple syrup, toasted coconut, vanilla, bourbon, roasted malt, more maple syrup, some coffee. Taste: maple syrup, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, some bitter cacao, hint of coconut, bourbon. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel, a little alcohol. Quite sweet notes of maple syrup, but we'll balanced with bitter coffee and roasted malt.

4.1 Tap. Pours black. Cookies, dark chocolate, toffee, coffee, dried fruits. Full bodied.

4.1 Bottle.Pitch black colour with medium beige head.Aroma of coconut and dark roasted coffee, sweet note of Syrup and chocolate nice smooth finish really nice overall beer.

4.2 Pours black, half finger beige head, good retention, great legs. Maple syrup dominates the aroma, which promises something really sweet, with some coconut and booze notes. Tastes not a sweet as expected, with a lot of fresh made burnt caramel, maple is much milder than on the nose as well. Coconut, dry, grated, is mild and remains in the background. Full bodied, thick and sticky. As expected from this diabetic style. Very tasty, well balanced, although sweet it doesn't overdo. Massiv öl

4.4 Belle bière noire à mousse beige existante. Superbe nez sur le chocolat, les fruits secs, un peu de fruits noirs peut-être, vanille, alcool style porto ou vin de dessert français, noix de coco. Bouche douce, sucrée, malts rôtis, chocolat, mélasse/sirop de Liège, coco, noisette,... Petite carbonatation, rondeur de moyenne amplitude, un peu trop sucré/sirupeux mais un régal tout de même.

4.4 Très bonne porter, très bon arôme café/ noix de coco. En bouche crème/café/noix de coco.

4.2 330ml (10.5%) shared with JohnRMurdoch, Stuartyboy & Zac K at home on 2 Aug 2020, present from JohnRMurdoch on 2 Aug 2020 (bb 9 Jan 2022): roast malt, maple syrup, vanilla aroma, opaque very dark brown, thin short-lived tan head, no lacing more vanilla, maple syrup, chocolate malt flavour, viscous, very sweet, no alcohol burn.

4.2 Аромат просто сносящий крышу, убер сильное благовоние кофе и какао бобов, как будто действительно только что сварили утренний эспрессо. Совсем немного карамели а также клинового сиропа, есть нотки жженого солода, а соответственно шоколада. Цвет черный как уголь, пенки убер тонкая, кофейного типа. Вкус уже не такой сильный и не сладкий как хотелось бы. Ощущается снова кофе но уже не так сильно а больше скорее какао бобов, сразу за ними вкус сиропа и карамели. При глотке жженый солод, немного шоколада а также специфические нотки в котором угадывается стиль. Послевкусие умеренно сладкое, кокоса почти нету, снова шоколад и сироп, но без сахара почти. Также ассоциации с ликером и его сладкими рецепторами.

3.9 Color negro opaco con una fina corona de espuma marrón. Olor a sirope de arce, cacao y toffe. En boca textura densa, como un sirope. Sabores a chocolate, vainilla, caramelo requemado, arce, café y un poco de coco; una explosión de dulzor parcialmente equilibrada por el final tostado.

4.3 0,33l bottle from Alko. BBE 9.1.2022. Very dark brown, almost black beer with small head. Aroma is strong and delicious with roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, maple syrup, nuts and caramel. Flavor continues with same elements. Some small bitterness with coffee is also there, but sweet this is. Alcohol is hiding, but slightly lurking behind the corner. Medium+ body, oily mouthfeel, very good!

4.4 Förvånande nog så är inte denna öl inskriven. Flarra i trädgården på midsommar med föräldrarna o P.N. Doftar lönnsirap som bara den. Smakar toffee lönnsirap sötma o viss ton cocos. Kaklik med fina balanserade toner. Eftersmaken ät mjuk o fin. Riktig god
