Bottle from Systembolaget Sweden. Semi lastning brown head. Very dark color. Smooth roasted aroma with nice chocolat. Nice roasted malty taste and balanced bitterness and some sweetness. Medium body.
Bred smak lite choklad kanske, lite sur eftersmak. God!
Bottled 0,33L. Dark brown color, clear aspect, moderate bubbly with light and escaping brown/nut head. Dark chocolate and raosty aroma, notes of braced wood, roast cereals, chocolate, coffee. Warm and smooth taste, oily texture, soft carbonation, light vanilla aromas with notes of dark chocolate, ashed caramel and roasty. Pleasant alcoholic impression.

Bottle at KCBD19. Good roasted aroma. Black colour. Small stable dark brown head. The flavour is roasted and nicely bready. Has a touch of piney hops and a nice hop bite. Great.

The looks of the beer are perfect. It truly is a good Stout. The beer looks to be pitch black. It is very very dark. The beer forms a nice layer of beige-brown foam. Foam retention is average. A minimal drape is left only. The beer is too dark to say anything about the cloudiness. It looks like a very fine Stout.
The aroma is very nice. Smooth, silky and lovely. The malts are clearly Stout malts. Toasted malts, some chocolate and coffee, toast, some dark dried fruits. Maybe some raisins (not that much). There is a hint of vanilla somewhere too. The hops give nice herbal notes. Not too strong, but very nice. Very smooth and harmonious.
The taste of beer also is very nice. Nice smooth sweet malts and some chocolate, bitter toast and roast and bitter hop aromas. The beer is well balanced and quite smooth. I like it. Nice Stout and not too intense.
The palate of the beer is nice. Smooth light carbonation, nice medium body and smooth texture. Very smooth. The finish of the beer is very nice. Nice chocolate and coffee, bitter hop note. I like it a lot. Very good Stout.
Ottimo esempio di stout. Colore nero impenetrabile, schiuma color cappuccino. Aromi e sapori ben evidenti di cacao amaro, caffè e malto affumicato. Ottimo calore al palato, buon corpo. Promossa!
Almost black beer, a head is dense, medium sized and beige. Aroma has sweetness of malts and dried fruits, low liquorice-chocolate-roastiness. Taste has roasteness, coffee, liquorice, some dried fruits, also bitterness. Medium+ bodied, quite smooth. Good beer.

0,3 litre Bottle from Systembolaget Charlottenberg. Black with light brown head. Roasted malts, coffee, bitterness, sweetness.
Bottle at home. Four years old. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a small light brown fast fading head. Aroma of smoke, roasted malt, chocolate truffles, rubber, nuts and smoked meat. Roasted flavour with lots of ash and very dark chocolate, coffee and some oak. Has a silky mouth feel, medium to full body and a medium bitterness. Nice smoke aroma, and the flavour is very burned with lots of roasted bitterness in the end. Feels a bit unbalanced. Powerful though.
Zwart bier met crème kleurige schuimkraag. Van 't vat. Geur: licht gerookt, wat geroosterde mout, lichte hoppigheid, ietwat toffee en koffie. Smaak: geroosterde mout, beukennoten, licht hopbitter, wat aards, ietwat zoethout. Volmondig. Matige koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: droog en iets kleverig, karamel.

Bottle @Black Beer Fest. Smoky nose, cacao. Sweet, roasted, smoke, dry finish with a slight hop bitterness. Roasted finish lasts for some time. Balanced
Svart med ljusbrunt lätt skum. Doftar av saltlakrits, tjära och kakao. Smaken har mycket kakaobeska. Det finns en viss sälta och rökighet i smaken. Något tunn men behaglig smak.
Bottle. Pours black with medium beige head. Aroma is sweet, roast, bubble gum, chocolate, sweets, some dry notes. Taste is bitter, dry, roast, bread, some beans, chocolate, cocoa, some sharp notes, ash, burnt meat. Nice beer!
Nja kaffehalva. Mycket kaffe med lite spritsmak. Undrar om jag vill ha hela?

0,33 l bottle. Like all others Oppigards beers I tasted, it is also very good, although not the best Imperial Stout I know, however good brewing.

Probably brewed September 2017 (bought November 2017, with BB date September 2019)
Brewed from malt and oats.
APPEARANCE: Dark brown / dark coffee colour. Small, short lasting beige head.
NOSE: Sweet roasted malt, dark milk chocolate, coffee, black treacle.
TASTE: The arrival and mid palate is all about dark arabica coffee, cocoa beans and dark chocolate (less milk here). Fairly dry. Viscous, thick mouthfeel. Medium rich but very fine carbonation, giving a creamy texture. The exit is quite consistent, with more coffee, cocoa and hints of vanilla. The aftertaste introduces an additional hint of dark chocolate bitterness.
Well balanced, harmonious.
Thursday, July 5, 2018. Bottle, 33cL. 8.7%. Purchase ("saveur-biere", FR). Home. A sparkling black beer with a small beige head ; medium retention. Roasted, black chocolate, toasty notes, rustic cereal, light coffee. Medium to sharp dry bitter, warming atmosphere, light fresh, light sweet. Good body, thin oily texture, flat, roasted chocolate bitter strong finish. Overall, great, delicious !
Smell of chocolate, coffee. Black colour, brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, some mudcake and nuts. Viscous texture, very heavy body. Flat carbon. Sweet and bitter. Quite awesome.
God stout, valuta för de surt förvärvade kronorna. Söt, kolaaktig doft. Svart opak dryck, väldigt tunt skum. Mycket sötma, fudge, kaffe i smaken. Överlag trevlig, men ingen upplevelse i sig själv.
Sweet, creamy and full of chocolate and coffee. Alcohol not too overwhelming

Robe noire. Mousse beige, très faible tenue. Arômes chocolat, réglisse, café, fumé, légèrement vanillé et boisé. Goût caramel, chocolat, croûte de pain, fruits noirs, vineux. On finit sur du réglisse.
Texture sirupeuse, sensation chaude. Carbonatation fine, moyennement abondante.
Très bon, dommage pour la mousse.
