A golden and refreshing pils beer from the Netherlands.
[Possibly brewed at Neame and InBev UK as well]

2.3"Oranjeboom Premium Lager Beer", 500ml can brewed in (or at least product of!) Belgium at 5%. 50/50 head, quite foamy but cavitating quickly. Shiny clear yellow colour. Pear and especially sweetcorn on the nose. Very audible fizz but mild carbonation all the same. Taste follows the nose, bit of pear, lot of sweetcorn. Slight murmur of malt in the aftertaste. Well done for what it is, but at least at the time of drinking, I was not remotely in the mood for what this is. Tasted sickly, verging on horrible. If you find malty sweetcorn-water to be palatable, you may very well enjoy this - I don't think it's badly made, per se, and I have tried a few genuinely badly made beers - so don't get me wrong. I have had this before and don't remember it being quite so unlikeable, so it's possible this was a bad batch or I was having a bad day so to speak - it's also possible my palate has changed since then.
3.4Clear gold with a small white head. Decent lager with lingering hop bitterness.
2.5Golden amber colour, mild hops and bitterness, nothing outstanding though.
1.2Bought this one in a can in ÁTVR Iceland. Reminded me of a cheap lager, tasteless and boring. Not for me!
2.3From can. Nose: bread, light butterscotch, a hint of hop. Light body. Taste: dryish, malty. Bread, butterscotch, hop. Light bitterness.
1.4Can. Pours golden with medium white head. Aroma vegetables, malty, sweet, boiled carrot. Taste is vegetables, malts, carrot, watery. Not my taste!
2.5Light corn notes. Pale clear gold with a frothy white head. Light corn sweetness.
2.00,3 litre Bottle from Tax Free store at Schippoll AirPort. Clear Golden with white head. Malts, hops
3.0Orange color, big foam size. Good beer, aroma and taste fit into the style.
2.8500 ml can. Pours clear golden with white head, The aroma skins of sunflower seeds, grain notes. The taste is sour, candy sweetness, fruit notes. The bitterness is weak, grassy. The body is watery. In the aftertaste shows a little perfume.
0.6Sometimes you need a post-bike-ride mass-produced Lager that you can crush in the shower. Sometimes. Sadly, I wouldn't even recommend this beer for that purpose. It's cloying, metallic, bland, fizzy, and thin. I avoided the very lowest marking for the sole reason that the can looks pretty cool.
3.0Bottle 33cl.@Frosty Beer, Tanjung Pandan, Belitung island, poures into a shaker. Regular lager, pale golden, fair frothy white head, grainy aroma, light floral hops. Bit more hops than the Royal Dutch I tasted before. Also not that good and neiter that bad. You have to consider the circumstances and therefore a satisfying brew.
1.0Boring pale lager. Nothing interesting about it.
Katerpils.
1.7Can, 500 ml. First of all: + 1 point for the design. This can looks nice, great typography and colour combination. The beer is very average tough, clear golden colour, frothy head goes away in a minute. Aromatic nose of lemon with some sweet malt, kind of pleasent smell, but the palate is very average, almost nothing, sour malt and a very very short palate with almost no aftertaste (it has some sour barley, but it's doesn't count). Just like it's gone in seconds. Could be a nice lager, but this is just below average for 80 €cents, so basically it's OK for the money...
2.2Can from supermarket in Copenhagen. A so-so lager with very little to commont on.
1.9(can 0,33l) Overall: Boring below average pale lager.
Aroma: Corny, grainy, some weird sweet.
Appearance: Clear yellow color. Medium, white head.
Taste: Light sweet, some hay, musty.
Palate: Light-medium body. Dry finish.
1.9Can from Trader Joe’s. Clear pale golden. Off-white head. Corn cereal and hay with a bare minimum of bittering and cardboard. Smooth and thin. I’ll probably finish the one, but barely.
2.9Can from Trade Joe's. Pours clear golden with large foamy off-white head, mildly yeasty malt aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish malty taste with faint honey aroma, smooth body, abrupt finish. Smooth but not crisp as a good Pilsner.
2.0$1.17 pint can from Trader Joe's. Pours clear golden with a soft white head. Aroma is Fritos (slight sweet corn). Flavor is cardboard, unsalted corn chips, light grass, hose water. Drinkable, but not enjoyable in the slightest.

It does not taste like orange as the label makes you think. It is a regular lager flavored beer with the sense of feeling like a light beer. Poor flavor, poor after palate taste.
