3.3Gemiddelde stout, met goede koffiesmaak. Wat zure afdronk. Het brouwsel is goed uitgevoerd, maar nergens verrassend of onderscheidend. Prima dus, niet meer.
3.0De cuerpo ligero. Café en nariz. En boca torrefacta, sin matices. Final seco. Correcta sin más. Canned 30/11/2018.
3.6Draught from Crack Shack in Costa Mesa, first day in CA visiting Matt! Pours an opaque inky black with a super creamy tan head and very thick, sticky, sumptuous lacing. Head is exceptionally smooth, creamy, thick. Looks great. Smell and taste has coffee, dark roasted malt, light plum and blueberry, but overall too thin. Body is quite smooth but also thin. Roastiness without enough fullness, though flavour is good.b uun
3.3Black with fluffy head. It's a solid Porter with hints of sweetened coffee. Misses some body.
3.6Can. Dark brown color, creamy foam. Aroma: coffee, sweet, chocolate, a little cherry leaves, molasses. Taste: sweet, porter, coffee, chocolate, pleasant drink )
3.6Negra con espuma de color beige, duración corta. Aroma a maltas asadas e intensas a café. Sabor ligeramente amargo, a tostado, café y regaliz. Final torrefacto y ligero.
3.7Opaque black beer with a medium beige head. Medium aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Chocolate, roasted malts and coffee. Very watery, almost like a nitro beer. 7/5/7/3
3.7Hazy deep brown, small beige head. Nose: toasted malts, ground coffee, earth, dried fruit, bit vinous. Medium body. Taste: light sweet, dark malts, coffee, dried fruit. Light bitterness. Quite good
3.6Can. Black brown pour. Aroma of creamy mocha coffee, licorice, caramel and chocolate malt. Taste has bitter creamy mocha, licorice, coffee, caramel, chocolate malt and a soft finish. Exactly what it should be, nice porter.
3.3De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Viendo Dark 1x02-03. Nariz cafetosa que promete pero en boca se viene abajo, resultando plana, unidimensional, con cafe con menos intenso de lo esperado. Ligera en boca
3.5Black. Brown head, three fingers, good retention. Difficult to see the carbonation through the darkness. Watery, fizzy texture, strange for the style but it works well. Aroma is dark malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel. Taste is lots of coffee giving impressions of hazelnut, soft burnt traces, chocolate. Soft sweetness. Soft bitterness at the end. Coffee in aftertaste.
3.712oz can. Attractive unfiltered deep brown body, beige head. Big coffee tones, a little more exotic and unique tones than typical. Pretty much nails it. Smooth and easy drinking for the ABV. Good.

Buena.
3.72019-04-19. Black body, foamy tan head. 4+ Aroma is pleasant roast malt and moderate coffee. Flavour has similar pleasant mix of mild coffee and dark malt. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Enjoyable. 7/4/7/3/15+ Cans shared by mds.
3.7Smells like light roast coffee with cream. Looks great. Good coffee flavor without being bitter. If anything, I wish it were stronger. Smooth palate. Very good.
3.72019/04/13 - Pours jet black with a foamy tan that quickly reduces and leaves ample lacing. Aroma is toasted malts, coffee, light toffee and hints of biscuit. Taste is more roasted malt, ash, biscuit, toffee and nuts. Mouthfeel is medium with lightly biting carbonation and a dry, roasted finish.
3.8Can. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, mild roasted coffee, roasted nuts, toffee. Flavor of mocha, chocolate malt, chocolate syrup, roasted coffee, vanilla, roasted malt. Plenty of chocolate notes, mild coffee as well. Tasty!

4.1[Can (12oz)] Pours a nice-looking very dark brown with an average size lasting frothy tan head and some minimal lacing. Nice aroma of coffee first followed by roasted malt, some chocolate, light hops, lactose and nuts. Flavour's just as good, with roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, nuts and light hops. Almost creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Loved it.
3.4It pours jet black, the head is caramel colored. The aroma has notes of: chocolate, coffee, cracker, cereal, rum, and charcoal. The taste is lightly sweet, that finishes medium better. The palate is medium-bodied, the carbonation is medium, and finishes bitter. Overall, very nice roasted flavor.
3.912 oz can. About four months old. Aroma is coffee, wet stone, roast, chocolate, caramel. It pours beautifully--dark brown, nearly black, hue, with a long lasting two finger tan head leaving curtains of lace. Taste is lightly sweet, moderately to highly bitter, especially for style; finishes with a light acidity. Flavors like the aroma descriptors. Perfect creamy mouthfeel and right carbonation. Not too bad.
3.5(nez malté, bouche onctuo-light, tout en discret et simple (café), sans prétention, easy, ~fade, bien faite)
4.0Dark with a tan head. Roasty malt, coffee, cocoa, and toast. No char, very smooth. Full but not heavy.
3.6Can pours a dark brown with creamy tan colour head. Taste like dark malt, caramel and tiny bit of roast, plus fruit and bready sweetness. Aroma is similar plus herbal dryness. Some hop dryness and coffee linger on the finish. Coffee does dry out the palate. Nice stuff.
3.0It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of coffee, chocolate, malts and toast. The taste was similar to the aroma with more coffee, chocolate, malts, toast with medium carbonation and a nice coffee aftertaste. Good stuff.

3.9Small can from Legacy LRS.
Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head
Aroma: coffee, some roasted malt, and creamy notes
Taste: coffee with milk, roasted malt, residual sweetness
Body: medium
Overall: nice and pleasant
3.9A single sort can from Firefly on Cambie St in Vancouver. A very dark beer with generous tan head and a faint coffee nose. Very soft and smooth. The body is fairly light, but then it's not intended as an imperial. The first few sips I was like, ok, meh, but this stuff grows on you, or at least it does on me. Though not much nose, it’s great stuff on the palate. I give it 3.9
3.7Coffee aroma, coffee, chocolate and malt flavour coffee finish. Black body with tan head. Worth sipping.
3.7A brief starring appearance in Ontario and I'm happy I grabbed the opportunity. Good thickness and great coffee and solid porter.
