4.6 Huge head. Aromas: malty chocolate, dark fruits, licorice. Very full viscous mouthfeel with soft carbonation. So much going on. An almost Black Forest gateaux sweetness the perfect complement to the deep roasty qualities. Everything comes together so well. A real belter of an imperial stout!
Aroma a café, chocolate, regaliz, vainilla.
4.3 35.5cl blik. Troebel zwart kleur, fijne romige bruine schuimkraag. De geur is chocolade en fruitig. Smaak is zoet, chocolade, gebrande mout en citrus. Vol body en veel koolzuur.
3.7 355ml Blik van Slijterij de Laat. Zwarte kleur, mooie romige beige kraag.
4.5 Nomnomnom. Wat een heerlijk dikke Imperial Stout. Koffie en vooral pure chocolade. Cadeautje van m’n kleine broertje. Dank Maarten L.
3.8 Cam 355ml at home. From Alko. Csnned 2020-09-14. . Pours black with beige head. Flavor has roasted malts, coffee, licorice, alcohol, soy Sauber. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, roasted finish. Original rating 7-3-8-3-15 from can 355ml at O'Hara's Freehouse 2011-02-03.
4.1 Mooie klassieke stout. Blik @ Proefglas klein.
4.3 Pitch black with long lasting creamy tan head. Aroma of strong chocolate, licorice, dried fruits. Taste is loaded with chocolate, hint of coffee, roast, licorice. Very smooth mouthfeel. Full body, soft carbonation. Rich yet easy to drink viscious stout. Wow
4.4 Can 2020. Great beer. Deep black with a beautiful hazelnut colored foam hat. Nose is intens:, chocolate, coffee, ash, red fruit and dried fruit, persistent and clean. In the mouth it shows the same hints, the alcohol is well hidden; it has a sweet start that blends well with coffee and dark chocolate. Intense, clean with a soft and viscous mouthfeel; never clumsy. Excellent
4.2 Chocolate,coffee.malty.very smooth and clear taste.creamy.wow. Bbf:09/25/18.
4.3 Can from Bottle Jockey bought in January 2015 for $5 CAD, cellared for 5 years. Attack: silky smooth crisp Mids: slick oily boozy, lvl8-sweetness, licorice, dense molasses malt Finish: roasted deep caramelized malt, root beer exhale, star anise, roasted bitter Overall: deep complexity with superb mouthfeel. Every sip brings something different to the palate. Very engaging and sippable, ABV well hidden. Surprising something so delicious found in a can.
4.3 Smell of wood and chocolate. Great body, chocolate taste and a spicy bitter aftertaste. Excellent mouthfeel and the exact amount of carbonation that deserves to an imperial Stout.
4.5 Pours charcoal black.nice head.tight fine bubbles. Good to palate slight acidity on aftertaste
4.2 Opaque black color with tanned head. Aroma has caramel, dark malt, sweet dried fruits like raisins and plums. Taste is malty sweet with long sweet and bitter aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, dark malt, vanilla, sweet dried fruits, licorice and coffee. Excellent mouth feeling and very well balanced.
4.1 Can thanks to SimonTomlinson. Black appearance. Aroma is coffee and malt. Flavour is coffee, malt, bitter, chocolate and nutty.
3.8 Really very good and very smooth "Imperial Stout" to drink. The beer its very bitter in the beginning and in the finish. You get many coffe notes and some chocolate. The carboration is soft. Overall one good beer for those who love bitter "Imperial Stout".
3.6 Kraftfull, besk, god
4.2 A very proper and classic Imperial Stout, strong on roasted goodness. It pours pitch black with a brown cotton candy head, firm and with amazing lacing. Nose of roasted barley, caramel and licorice. Roastiness dominates its flavour, which starts with a rather bitter taste, roasted flavours include barley, cocoa nibs and coffee beans. Medium body, smooth and literally sticky to the lips, doesn't feel sweet, and its steady roasted goodness walk along some herbal bitterness til a dry and bitter finish. This is something we need sometimes, a bold Stout. Lovely!
4.0 Wednesday, February 12, 2020. On tap, 25cL. 10%. @bar "Le Zinc", Poitiers (86), FR. Home. A sparkling black oily-look beer with a medium beige foamy head ; medium retention ; good lacing. Chocolate++, roast, caramel note, licorice note. Medium round gourmet sweet ; medium dry fresh bitter ; spicy note ; light warming atmosphere. Good body, oily texture, soft gaseous to flat ; chocolate round light warming finish. Overall, very good, great !
4.2 Black pour, mocha head. Nose us malty espresso and chocolate. Middle is woody dark chocolate, bitter espresso, unsweetened coco, blackened malt, touch of alcohol. Finish is powerful and bittersweet. Brutally delicious brew.

5.0 Can from The Wine Cabinet in Reston, VA Aroma: caramel, coffee, chocolate Appearance: dark brown with a tan head Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness Mouthfeel: light carbonation, creamy feel, medium body, long finish Delicious
4.3 Drunk in late 2018. Thick, creamy, chocolate liqueur, coffee ice cream, lots of roast, light leather furniture and pumpernikel, forest fruit, roasted coffee finish. Amazing balance and flavour depth. Outstanding beer.
Corpo medio alto, rotondo e vellutato, carbonazione bassa.
3.8 Can from Westhill Service Station. Pours perfection. Deep sheen to the black beer with a creamy team head. Nose is boozy, treacly and rich. Touch of cola cube. Charred roast bitterness. Smoky rubber. Aniseed. Thick and slick full body with soft levels of carbonation. It's unabashedly big. Definitely one for slow evening savoring.
4.0 Chocolate, mocha, sweet caramel malts. Oily and smooth viscosity. Low to medium carbonation. A very nice winter warmer.
