Paljas Indian Pale Ale is made from 100% pale malt, an unfiltered beer of 6% with yeast. Four selected hops create a pleasant hoppy aroma and a balanced bitterness of 35 EBU. Sauvignon Blanc flavours can be discovered due to dry-hopping with Nelson Sauvin.

3.033cl Bottle, thanks Bart! Amber-brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, malts, some caramel, light floral hops, hint of citrus, grape. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, light fruity, caramel, light hoppy, goopy, hint of grapes, soft bitterness. Light bodied. Not great tbh.
3.3Bottled, 330ml at Cafe de Grendelpoort, Valkenburg, Netherlands. Hazy gold with white head. Initially there is quite a flowery Belgian yeasty type flavour, pear drops then a light hopped, citrusy note. Quite drying then bitter. It's fine.
3.6On-tap in the Bier Paleis, Brugge on 16th May 2018. Amber body, full white crown on top. Citrus lead to the fruity nose, some malts for balance in the taste, lightly spiced somewhere along the line, nice blend of flavours and far to easy to drink, luckily it's only 6% ABV.
3.4bottle @ beerselection (budapest) orange-amber colour, minimal white head, medium body, high carbonated, fruity, grassy, yeast, strong hoppy, dry aftertaste
3.2On tap at the 11th Brugge beer Festival, Brugge, Belgium. A dark golden/amber coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, yeasty, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, yeasty, fruity. Typical Belgian style IPA.
3.2Oranjekleurig bier met witte schuimkraag. Geur: redelijk neutraal, mout, licht zurig, abrikoos. Smaak: stofferige gist, Licht fruitig, redelijk zoetig. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Te weinig hop en te zoet om IPA genoemd te worden.
3.2At Delaney's, Bruges. Pours hazy dark golden/orange with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma contains bitter hops, yeast, some citrus & grapefruit, spices & herbs. It tastes light fruity sweet and medium hoppy bitter; bit dry, citrussy & yeasty touch in the finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Less IPA-like than I would have liked, but good enough.
3.1Hey there 'Brouwerij' Henricus, please disclose the place of manufacture on your label and website. Sincerely, drinkers who care. THT 30/08/2018 (for an IPA?
you sure?). Pours attractive, hazy red-amber with some wispy fading foam. Nose of white wine, black tea, caramel malt, and some rubbery hop oxidation. Lovely balanced taste, bitter enough but with balancing caramel sweetness but also an odd, lightly acidic tang. Some lingering astringent tea taste. A tasty beer in the end but already facing oxidation issues with nearly a year left on the supposed shelf life. And FFS, be honest about where your beer is made.
3.3On tap at a Pop up bar just across the road from Bierboom, Brugge, Belgium, Friday 15th September 2017 with Lynn and Barry. Pours darker than expected sticky off white head. The aroma suggests a lot of sweetness but it's not too sweet, a little tart,
fruity, it's good. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov14 3.3
3.6Rich amber-brown with a huge foam, peppery and earthy hops on the nose with a touch of bitter orange and toffee. Clean and bitter-sweet, with an undertone of peppery caramel. Very nice.
3.4F: big, tan, long lasting.
C: amber, hazy, red hue against the light.
A: fruity, bit citrus, bit passion fruits, apricot, floral, caramel.
T: light malty backbone, peach, bit tropical fruits, grassy, citrus, caramel but dry finish, medium body and carbonation, not bad, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Bierwinkel De Hopduvel in Gent.
3.1Opálos, sötét borostyán szín. Nagy fehér tartós hab. Édeskés illat. Kicsit vizes test, visszafogott a belga stílus. Közepesen keserű íz. Könnyen iható, de a top ipáktól messze van.
3.6On tap in Gent, europa festa. Bright shiny amber color, almost clear, thick off-white head. Aroma of candies, caramel, pale ale malts and american style hops, a whiff of fruitness, there is an earthy/muddy note, maybe yeast. Taste is ok, on the bitter side, it has a bite. Mild carbonation, solid body, dry bitter finish. Decent belgian IPA
3.7From bottle at home. Very nice amber color. Good head. I miss a bit of the strong aroma some ipa’s have. But a nice beer.
3.5Spritziger MandarinaBelgianSpiceYeaster geht den soliden MalzSpülipfad des Mittelklasse Belgian IPAs. Litschi&Weintraube here😀 . 0,33l Bottle aus Groningen.
3.2.33l nottle Poured a hazy copper colour beer with thuck creamy head ( didnt last long)
Good balance between sour, sweet and bitter. My favorite ipa so far.
3.5Hazy, copper colour poured from the bottle. Slight fruit and sweet malt on the nose. Citrus hops and more sweet malt on the palate. Medium carbonation, medium bitterness.
3.7Barwa miedziano pomarańczowa, silnie zmętniona. Zwieńczeniem jest piana, biała, wysoka i trwała. Bardzo przyzwoicie znaczy każdy łyk.
Aromat owocowy, słodki, z delikatnym karmelem. Słodkie owoce są tutaj kręgosłupem, karmel stanowi jedynie tło.
Smak podobnie owocowy i słodki. Slodycz odczuwalna jest raczej delikatna i lekka a kontrowana jest średnio wysoką gorączką. De facto nieco zalegającą.
Wysycenie średnie w kierunku do wysokiego, nadaje piwu lekkości.
3.7Off white fluffy head stayed well on a hazy rustic coloured, lightly effervescent body.
Stone fruits & malt aroma.
This has a medium body, very prickly on the tongue & sharp on the aft. Dry.
Bitter orange, citrus, pine & malt notes.
3.0KRS 091216. Deep golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop, yeast, berries. Flavor is the same. Weird beer.
3.1On tap at Belgian Beer Festival in Ljubljana. Pours a bit darker orange amber color, topped with a smaller white head. Peach fruitiness upfront, a bit honey like scents later on. Solid bitterness with herbal finish. Your typical Belgian IPA. Not bad, not great. Decent.
3.4Bottled. Deep, hazy golden colour with beige head that doesnt last too long. Slightly bitter, fruity aroma with the same notes with faint bitterish finish. Light bodied with spft carbonation. Easily drinkable yet flavourful, nice one.
3.2Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer.
3.3Bottle on the Zebrugge - Hull ferry. Golden with a huge frothy cream head. Lemony citrus aroma. The taste is bitter with citrus, bready malts and light spice. OK.
2.8Bottle. Pours deep golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, herbs, berries, and malt. Flavor is sweet and fruity with strawberries, some bitterness and herbs. Medium body, average carbonation.
