3.5Pour from 16.9 oz can. Clear pale gold brew with smallish white head. Great head retention and nice lacing. Aroma is grass, light yeast and biscuit. Taste is moderate biscuit malt up front with grass emerging very quickly, taste grows in complexity towards the finish with the emergence of yeast notes and some citrus; though taste remains restrained throughout. Slight metallic note at the very end. The palate is substantial and satisfying. I've been hankering for a nice Euro style lager and grabbed a 4 pack of this on impulse. It exceeded my expectations and is a thoroughly enjoyable, if low-key. brew.
3.5.5 l can, sent by Paulaner for comment. Frankly, it does the job. Presents a style that's hard to duplicate, harder to import and to stay good. In a pilsener flute, it's a bright straw-to-gold color, with a slight stream of bubbles feeding a puffy head. My nose is none too delicate right now, but I start to notice the slightly peppery noble hop, and the basic "beer" smell of years past. Stands as a good version of the style. Again, some noble hop up front, then a slightly malty taste. All this "lightness" makes it hard to stand up and beg for more points, but this is good.
3.2Draft @ Paulaner, Ostenmeer. Clear gold with a nice white head. Aroma and taste of grains, bread, grass, cracker and spicy noble hops. Medium bitterness. Dry finish. Medium carbonation. Clean and crisp. Alright.
2.9330 ml. Clear dark golden, foamy head. Grassy hops, citrus, slightly metallic. Dry metallic bitterness. Light bodied, oily watery texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry bitter finish. Just okay!
2.7På Berliner republik
3.1“Paulaner Premium Pils“, vom Faß im Maximilians, Berlin. - Aromatisch zitrusfruchtig, später auch kräuterig gehopftes Pilsener süddeutscher Art. Feiner Malzkörper, dezente Süße. Milde Rezens, kremig. Nicht zu kräftige aber runde Bittere. - Schönes Pilsner, besser als erwartet. (13.12.2019.)
3.0(Draught at Maximilians, Berlin, 8 May 2019) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of bread, cereal, grass and herbal hops. Malty, hoppy taste with bread, cereal, grass, herbal hops and a dry finish with a balanced bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty pilsener. Quite enjoyable.
3.1Aroma; pale malts, dry hops, grass, minerals, bread. Look; offwhite good head, clear straw golden body. Taste; pale malts, dry hops, grass, minerals, bread, and finishes in balance. Feel; normal body n co². Overall; gentle pils, good, but I'd expected more. [btl @im hauslicher Umgebung] 6463'12
2.7Draught. Clear golden color, with white head. Aroma is noble hops, cereals, straw. Taste is grainy, with a medium bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok pils, but less bitter than others.
Clear pale golden body with a thick, foamy, quite persistent white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, mild soapy. Taste is bitter: lots of grass, endive, mild soapy again. Medium bitter finish. Low body, average carbonation, watery texture
3.5From backlog. Bottle from BevMo Oceanside. Clear Golden with white head. Malts, hops, sweetness. Nice.
Geur vrij neutraal. Origineel glas
3.1Tap at Paulaner am Dom, Frankfurt. Bright, clear golden color with a high head. Herbal hops in teh nose, medium malt, and a touch of butter and acid. Cleaner flavor, crisp, bitter, with herbal hops and a touch of cardboard, but much better than the nose. High, spritzy carbonations. PRetty lame overall.
3.8Van tap in Pénestin. Fris bitter. Lekker. Redelijk volle smaak. (7-2012).--.
3.3On tap @ Bent Elbow...pale hazed straw color with a tight bone white cap...aroma is malty, spicy, floral...crisp dry character with fresh Pils malt in front and a clean spicy lightly bitter dry finish....the best of the commercial German Pils.
2.7A slight metallic taste left me underwhelmed, but crisp, clean with a bit of malty wheat.

Zeer helder gouden kleur, wit schuim.
3.002-03-18 // 300ml on tap at Paulaner am Dom, Frankfurt. Clear golden. Small head. Clean and classic crispy pilsner. No edges, just solid without being special. Mild sweet malty, solid bitterness.
3.1Draft. Golden with almost no head. Malty, wheat and hoppy both in aroma and taste. Not a bad pilsener.
3.3From old tasting notes. Big hoppy aroma. Toasted malt flavor. Bittersweet hop finish. Well balanced and very drinkable.
2.7500ml bottle at home in Munich. Aroma is light citrus, light soap-ish. Appearance is clear yellow to golden with a thick, fast decreasing white foam. Taste is slightly bitter and very light sweet. A bit watery. Medium to strong carbonation. OK.
1.6Very clean and crisp. But not a while lot more going on. Some bitterness. Very light, clear yellow.
2.8Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is soap, dust, bready malt, some noble hops. Taste is artificial apple sweetness, some hops bitterness and citric sourness. Quite balanced and not bad. More soap in the finish with a nice fresh mouthfeel. Ok, standard.
