Peak Organic Fresh Cut Pilsner

Peak Organic Fresh Cut Pilsner

Fresh Cut is a dry-hopped pilsner. Chinook, Citra and Centennial hops provide aromas of citrus, grass and spice. Though the front palate is loud with IPA qualities, the finish is distinctly pilsner- crisp, dry and extremely refreshing. Enjoy!

3.7 Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Light hoppy aroma, floral. Taste is unlike other pilseners, the normally intensely bread-like notes are muted behind a significant hop profile. Palate includes floral notes and yeast. Good beer, if unorthodox.

3.8 (Can) Hazy golden body with a very big, yellow-white head that forms stiff peaks and leaves a thick web of lace. Hoppy aroma with floral and citrus/tropical fruit notes; very aromatic. Medium body, slightly chewy and average carbonation. Flavor is light lemon citrus and pine hops; very hoppy and bitter. Doesn't remind me much of a pilsner, but I don't mind.

4.2 Bottle. 15cl sample. The aroma has citrus grass, little grain. Bit hazy, pale yellow coloured beer with a thin, white head. The taste is light-moderate bitter, has grain, grass and quite some citric tones. Easy drinking beer with just enough body. Superb session beer.
3.6 Bottle. Rather clear, pale golden body with a nice, dense white head. Lots of small bubble rising like champagne in the glass, looks great. Refreshing aroma of grapefruit, black currant and cat pee. Very nice in the nose. Flavor is light and refreshing pale malt, grain and grassy bitterness like a pilsner but in addition a delicious mix of fruity hops, just like a pleasant addition without overdoing and screwing around with the pilsner base. Medium body and nice and bitter aftertaste. Highly quaffable and surprisingly tasty for a pilsner.
