2.3Aroma : Lightly toasted corn/cereal malt, very light touch of soft fruit, light grassy hop. Taste : Refreshing with a decent bittersweet balance, flavours not particularly distinctive though. For what is the generally boring PL/IP style it's actually one of the better ones
3.6On tap at Pinte du Nord, Paris on 16th November 2019. Clear gold with lasting white foam and partial lacing. Grassy hoppiness in aroma. Grassy hops in-mouth with savoury nuttiness - peanut. A hint of salt and a hempy hop finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body.
Mala zanimljiva boca.. Pivo je lose... Nepotrebno velika količina alkohola koji preuzima okus.. Pivo prozirno i nezanimljivo...
0.8Crystal clear, bright golden pour with a snow-white head.
Aroma is so mild you'd swear is naught. I've tasted sparkling waters that are more aromatic than this lager.
Soft, medium to high carbonation, slightly bitter, otherwise tasteless. Bah.
3.2Draft pour into a branded glass. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. Doughy and grassy. Mildly bitter, a bit toasted. Lighter body and medium carbonation.
2.2Aroma 5. Appearance 2. Taste 4. Palate 2. Overall 9. Malt and toasted bread aroma. Same taste with sweetness. Grain aftertaste.
2.6Fass in Paris
3.3Tap @ L’Ohama, Obama Beach VIII 2019. Moutige bitter licht zoete smaak. licht moutig geurend. Origineel glas
2.4Water
3.0Ordinær fadbamse. Nydt dejlig kold på en fransk fortorvscafe. Ikke meget aroma. Tilpas bitterhed.
2.7250ml bottle as Les Estaminets, 5.8 % abv, at Cote in Worcester. White head over a clear golden body, lacing rings down the glass. Modest mid-sweet grain malts on the nose. Slightly honeyed sweet pale malty taste, a bit doughy. Pale malty sweetness to the ending. Okay Eurolager. (Worcester 29.06.2019).
3.3A nice light lager. Clean and crisp with a good body for the style. Table Ronde Grenoble
2.1Pours clear golden with a small and quickly disappearing head. Aroma is mild and malty with faint touch of grassy bitterness. Taste is malty with grain and bread flavour. Dry and slightly too harsh touch of alcohol strengthens towards the finish. Rather soft carbonation. A drinkable brew, though it didn't impress me much. (Poured from a 0,5l can, bb 01/2020)
3.1Crisp, light and refreshing. What more do you want from a continental blonde?
2.6330ml draft at Le DePart at Saint Michel in Paris, France The pale lager poured a clear gold color with a white head which quickly dissipated. Malty aroma greets you. The taste has more sweet malts and bread. The lager has medium to light body and soft carbonation. Very tasty after a lambic.
2.6500ml Keg at Barracao bar in Paris (€4.50):
Quite a basic beer with a bland taste that had some corn & background adjuncts showing but not a lot else really. There was a little sweetness but it was mainly on the nose & overall it was very basic with some skunk flavours seeing things out. Definitely not one I'd go for again, it was very much the stereotypical French beer but it feel short of being a terrible one at least.
2.8Eerder gedronken, vakanties in Frankrijk.
Bof.
2.7Hellblond, klar, solide Krone. Heuig, strohig, etwas Malz, süffig, Standard.
2.5F: medium, white, good retention.
C: gold, clear.
A: sweet malty, bit grassy, caramel.
T: light malty, bit caramel, hint of alcohol, weak bitterness, medium body and carbonation, average pale lager nothing more, 0,5l can from Intermarché Contact et Drive, Avize in France
2.48/VI/18 - sample @ blind tasting for Foodpairing company (Ghelamco) - BB: n/a (2018-753) Thanks to Sofie VL for the invite to this event!
Clear pale blond to straw yellow beer, small creamy solid white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. aroma: very malty, lots of grains, some sulphur, not much else. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet, malty, grassy bitter hops, bit metallic, lots of cereals. Aftertaste: mainly malts, soft bitterness, making the heavy sweet malt bill more bearable, slightly sourish.
2.5Draft in French pub in Auxerre. Clear pale golden pour with small frothy white head, bad retention. Aroma mainly malty, very soft. Taste is rather sweet and flat/weak. Soft carbo. Not impressed.
4.4Really nice beer and a nice change to the normal mass produced beer
1.9Earlier Rating: 7/17/2018 Total Score: 2
Geen blond bier maar een pils. Niet bijzonder van smaak. Gedronken van de tap in Beaune.
2.8Fles 25cl in Puybrun. Weinig smaak, lichte bittertonen, wat kruidig, maltig, licht klef. (8-2011).
1.8Crystal clear golden color with white head. Sweet, grainy, corn aroma. Taste follows sweet with lots of corn, a hint of earthy bitterness on the finish. Light body and carbonation.
4.0Birra rinfrescante, retrogusto amarognolo. Colore limpido e schiuma bianca persistente.
2.2Bottle at Beerdock Leek. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of sweet grain, slight butter and subtle vegetable. Taste of sweet grain, some vegetable and subtle off cereal malts. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, grainy and vegetal bitterness in the finish. Not good, the strength is the only thing good about it. Sweet, grainy, vegetal and a lingering bitterness.
