4.1 Tap @ L’Ohama Bar, Ohamabeach VIII 2019. Me eerste speciaalbiertje wat ik ooit jarenlang in Frankrijk dronk en nu naar jaren weer in Frankrijk geproefd. Het is als de hereniging met een oude vriendin. Nog steeds klopt alles aan dit plaatje en weer weet je waarom je deze zo fantastisch vond. Zacht, zoet, chocolade met een hint van honing en een nasmaak van caramel. Volle rijke smaak waarbij alle vakantie herinneringen weer bij naar boven komen. Overall een topper die je ook gewoon overall ;-) in Frankrijk in de supermarkt aan treft. Karamel moutig geurend. Donkerbruin met gemiddeld koolzuur en een lichte witbruine schuimkraag. Proefglas

2.7 Rot-braun, sehr malzig, recht süß. Ok.

2.9 Can. Pours caramel brown with medium off-white head. Aroma is caramel, alcohol, some plums, light fruits, some malts. Taste is malty, caramel, some alcohol, light hops, sweet, some dried plums. Drinkable beer!

2.1 Bue en bouteille 25cl. On y retrouve un nez malté et de caramel. La robe est ambrée, transparente avec des teintes brunes ainsi que bien pétillante. Aucune mousse ou col présent. Goût qui porte sur un peu de malt et de caramel.

3.1 Bottle in a seaside cafe in Jard sur mer. Pours clearish reddish brown with medium white head that doesn’t really last. Aroma is sweet malt and biscuit. Flavour is roast barley malt, brown sugar, caramel... relatively sweet in the mouth and more bitter (hoppy) in the finish

2.6 Brun öl med ett lättare beige skum. Doft och smak av malt, karamell, mörkt socker och lätta nötiga toner. Något för söt för min smak.

3.3 Robe brun sombre, rougeatre, limpide, belle mousse brune. Nez de malt rôti, mais avec du corps. En bouche, l'attaque est douce, très douce, sans être excessivement sucrée, soutenu par les saveurs de malt roti, légèrement grillés. L'équilibre penche en faveur du sucre. Agréable, se boit bien, assez riche même si pas très complexe. Une brune classique et bien agréable.

1.0 Donker rood van kleur met een crème kleur kraag. Smaakt zoet en moutig. heeft verder nog een klein bittertje. mist verdere smaken of aroma's. -backlog de BierApp-

3.0 33cl-fles in de Creperie van Center Pars Les Trois Forêts te Hattigny. U: Helder bruin met een rode gloed en een crèmekleurige schuimkraag. G: Zoete mais, wat karamel en een beetje honing. S: Moutzoet met een beetje bitterheid. Karamel, melkchocolade en suikerstroop. M: Medium body en medium carbonatie.

3.0 Bière avec une jolie robe. Arrière goût d’épices et de caramel mais un peu trop sucré à mon goût.

2.7 Popular brown 'ale' from France, at some restaurant in the Périgord region, apparently never had this one before. Medium thick, pale greyish white, moussy, diminishing head on a clear, ruddy bronze-mahogany, translucent beer. Aroma of lots of caramel candy, caramel syrup, dried dates, iron, hazelnut shells, soggy cereals, some plastic. Starts sweet, but non-fruity, lots of added sweet caramel syrup, fizzy carb, smooth mouthfeel, caramelly, thinnish and bit metallic middle, lingering caramel sweetness and just a dash of bitterishness, tad toasty, but plastic-like too. Like Leffe Brune, this is more than likely a caramel-coloured and -sweetened strong lager - very simple, industrial and sweet, one to please the ignorant masses.

2.7 No muy expresiva en nariz, con notas a caramelo. En boca salen también frutos secos. Interesante aunque sin mucha complejidad. Algo cargante en boca con final dulce no especialmente bien equilibrado. Interesante, no obstante.

3.4 Zoet aroma van karamel en kandij. Ook de smaak heeft deze zoetigheid, maar gaat langzaam over in een zachte, mokka-bitterige afdronk. Correct, evenwichtig donker bier met zachte smaak.

2.8 Fles 25cl in Puybrun. Echte bruin. Erg zoet, wat stroperig, chocolade. (8-2011).

2.9 (330ml bottle) Pours a clear amber-brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of raisin, prune, dates, and caramel. Flavor of light cocoa, nuts, bread, raisins, caramel, and brown sugar.

2.8 Une brune assez translucide, quasi sans mousse. Des saveurs caramel, peut-être un peu trop artificielles, mais en fin de compte une bière qui se laisse facilement boire et qui me fait penser à la Pied boeuf brune, en plus alcoolisée toutefois.

3.0 Dark copper with low head, Moderate lacing for its style. Light bodied and low carbonation, sweet taste with caramel and slightly chocolate.

3.0 0,33l bottle. Brown colour with quickly disappearing beige head. Aroma: Caramel, notes of roasted coffee. Taste: Sweet start and also sweet and smooth mouthfeel with light bitter tones. Light/medium body with soft carbonation. Long sweet finish. Nothing special, but not bad at all.

3.2 Can, 33 cl, Monoprix, Nice. Sweet and strong, went well with a pasta dish..

2.2 Can at home from my sister-in-law. A rich caramel colour in the glass and a strong aroma of the stuff on the nose immediately put me on warning. As feared, the taste was all sweet caramel combined with alcohol and wasn't pleasant at all. The ingredient list proudly included the dreaded ingredient. I persevered, but gave up half way through and poured the rest away.

2.9 Redish brown ale with a small head and medium carbonation . Flavor of malts and caramEl. Some hop bitterness. Not bad at all but also not very interesting.
