2.3 Wait .. I think dirty Yankees stole Zhigulevskoe recipe from mother Russia. Damn it’s so close in taste to that gnarly beer.
2.7 Pleasant malty lager taste with just the right amount of sweetness that is sadly ruined by the flat carbonation.
2.9 Bottle: Clear, light gold with a thin white head. Barley, honey-lemon aroma. Flavour is sweet barley malt, light fruit and grains. Not much too it...a fairly straightforward lager. Light, no off-notes.
3.2 Pale yellow with a white head. Light earthy hop aroma. Light body. Grainy malt flavor. Fairly clean finish. Sessionable.
3.2 gold color; light malt and floral hop aroma; a crisp, clean, light lager; well balanced; a good representation of the style (just not my favorite style)
3.9 Transfer from BA review on 10-23-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed medium golden colored beer with one finger of foamy white head. The head fades over about a 5 min time period, leaving a good level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is wheaty and grainy smelling with a little bit of a citrus and grassy hop aroma mixed within. Taste – The taste begins with a nice bready and doughy flavor with a decent amount of a sweet caramel flavor. These flavors create a nice smooth base for the brew, lasting till the end. Along with the aforementioned flavors, some flavors of yeast and lighter fruit flavors join the tongue. Toward the end a bit of a lemon taste as well as some light hop flavors of an herbal nature join the tongue. With just a hint of graininess and pepper joining the tongue at the very end a nice crisp yet smooth sweet and malty flavor is left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation that is rather high. Both are fantastic for the mix of bread, sweet, and hop, creating a very refreshing and quite drinkable brew. Overall -This one is nice and refreshing a great session style brew. One I will certainly get again.
2.6 On draft. Clear golden color with almost no head. Almost no aroma on this one. Really light malt taste. The definition of average.
2.0 Golden beer, medium carbonation. White, frothy head. Your basic, average, run-of-the-mill beer. You would enjoy this if Coors Light or Miller Lite were your favorite beers.
4.1 Bottle from gift gourmet sampler case from friend Rick - thanks! Crisp yellow color and taste, medium bodied and a non-harsh mouth feel. Stays on the palette for a while. Quite good!
3.1 Nice sweet lager. Kind of bland. Fairly light. Like able solid lager. Light hop character.
1.3 Pours a clear yellow with a white aroma and flat aroma. Taste is watery, some grain and malt, but overall flavorless as with most lagers
1.2 Pours a very pale light yellow gold color. Nose is flat with barely an aroma. Taste is metallic and grainy, undrinkable. Another suspect from a craft club, which is why I retired by membership. Quaff Score 2 / 10

3.3 Pours a clear gold with a thinnish head from the beer of the month club. Aroma is very lagery and dry. The flavor is not so lagery, which makes it go up in my opinion. Fairly plain, bubbly, and actually a bit refreshing. It’s not bad.
2.6 Clear gold pour, small white head. Light aroma of hops, malt. Taste is crisp, OK bitter and just a little sweetness. Some light citrus in the finish. Drinkable.
3.1 On tap at the wedding, which was at a brewery! Pours a clear golden hue with a small white head. A sweet grainy nose with some honey. Very clean and smooth with light crisp honey touched grains, a bit of spicy hops.
4.0 Poured clear, golden, white foam. Light aroma of bread, cereal. Taste light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, thin feel, clean finish and very refreshing. Great hot summer beer.
2.3 Golden in color with some white head. Nice malt backbone. If I cared for lagers, I might like this.
3.0 Light gold, white cover. Aroma is husky, grainy, light astringent. Taste is grainy, slightly husky, tannic, earthy finish.
2.8 Appearance is a medium white head with clear amber color. Aroma is a sweet bready caramel malt. Taste is a nice bready malt with a little sweetness. Overall above my expectations.
2.6 Nice easy fun that is quite different than any of the Penn Brewwery stuff I’ve ever had. Earlier Rating: 4/23/2007 Total Score: 2.3 12 oz brown bottle for $1 at Vintage in Boardman. Ubiquitous free and easy pale yellow beer color. Has the aroma of eager refined uncooked bread dough yeast. The taste has hints of enterprising mechanical intuition. A short lived bite is present on the back of the throat. Good happy carbonation on the back of the tongue. Overall, a good lager like well behaved flavor taste and feel.
3.4 draft at brewery, classic German style Dortmunder. Golden pour, small white head, good CO2, lively, lacing throughout the drink. Medium bodied, clean and crisp tasting, hints of fruits/citrus, well-balanced. Light on hop flavoring, clean finish. Not sure why the low ratings on this one?
2.8 Pours golden from tap with a thin white head. Lots of carbonation on the tongue but not much aroma on the nose, not that the two are related. A bit of unspecified fruitiness on the tongue. Finishes clean.
