4.075cl Fles. Zwart bier met dunne bruine schuimkraag. Geur: geroosterde mout, chocolade, wat koffie cichorei, ietwat hazelnoot. Smaak: zoet, geroosterde mout, cacao met helemaal op het einde ietwat munt. Mooi in balans. Medium volmondig. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: kleverig zoet, alcoholisch maar tevens fris door de munt. Aangenaam en lekker.
4.0Tap at biercab, barcelona. Black color, brown head. Smooth roasty taste, coffee, chocolate. Smooth taste has roasted notes, coffee, chocolate, some hops.
3.7Draught @ Beer Cheese, Northport. Inky black with spongy tan head, woodsy syrupy rum aroma, low carbonation, bitter roasted malt taste with cinnamon/cloves flavor, alcohol undertones, dark fruits flavor, thin body, long finish. Spicy and warming.
4.1Cocoa and mint, pitch black with a good brown head, full body, sticky and dense, low carbonation, taste is the same thing with more cocoa...huge beer!
3.9Bottle on the roof courtesy of Maakun, thanks! Black with tan head. AfterEightTM!!! Chocolate and massive mint. Medium body and soft carbonation. Milky feel and soft carbonation. Tasty and too freaky.
4.0Bottle shared. Black with small creamy light brown head. After Eights! Roast, light licorice, quite earthy, strong spicy mint, lots of dark chocolate, molasses, thick syrupy malts, more chocolate mints. Over medium sweet and bitter. Full thick creamy body with low carbonation. At first it was a bit too much After Eights, but there’s some complexity after a while. Nice.
4.5On tap at Ghetto Something, Koper. Pours pitch black, topped with a very large beige head, very lasting and creamy. Gentle chocolate and coffee nose, a bit more chocolate with some peppermint. Nice. Sweeter start, quite strong chocolate sweetness, very mild coffee presence. Gentle bitterness in the end. Lasting though gentler aftertaste. No alcohol presence, just a hint of warmth in the aftertaste. Very smooth, full body and silky texture. Great one.
3.9Draft@Ghetto something Koper/Capodistria:
Black opaque with foamy brown head. Roasted grain, malts with notes of chocolate, coffee, toffee + adjuncts: finish like after eight loquid chocolate.
5.0On tap at Ghetto Something in Koper, thanks to Kita for sharing. I totally agree with his review, so I'll simply copy it: "Aroma of hazelnut, roasted malt, coffee, mint, clove, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pitch black color with large creamy brown head and nice lacing. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt, coffee and chocolate, following is nutty and spicy, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. So tasty that every sip stayed in my mouth for ages..."
3.9Bottle picked up from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte, West Flanders, Belgium, shared with Dad at Kilburn, Derbyshire Friday 8th June 2018 This has lots of mint, reminds me of a mint choc' ice cream. Lots and lots of chocolate, creamy, boozy. Black with a slim off white head. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.9

Pours brown black with a tan head. Chocolate aroma with caramel, toffee and cinammon. Tastes minty with cinammon, toffee and caramel notes. Medium body
4.1Draft at City Tap House. Not much on appearance, but gets great. Aroma is roasty with minty notes. Taste adds more mint, but feels amazing. Mellowing, but in your face.
4.0(Tap sample @ MBCC 2017 Red Session, Copenhagen) Pours black with a small dark tan head. Notes of roasty malt with molasses, fudge, dark chocolate, fresh peppermint, Girl Scout cookies, hint of licorice. Sweet through the sip finishing semi-dry with lots of persistent mint and chocolate. Medium-full body, average carb. Not complex at all, it's a one-note bold chocolate-mint thing, but it's actually a pretty tasty one at the sample level anyway.
3.4Bottle 75 cl. Pours an opaque jet black with a creamy, light brown head. Distinct mint in the nose - as in After Eight! Blending in with some chocolate. Rich body, roasty and still minty. However the mint now becomes more herbal and medicinal turning the beer into cough syrup which is less than pleasing. Started out well, landed in a less pleasant way. 060318
3.7On tap. Pours a black color with a small head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and hint of mint. Taste of roasted malt, bit of chocolate and mint. Nominal bitterness and dry finish. Fairly full body, smooth with subtle sweetness. Mint becomes more pronounced as it warms. Tasty.
3.6On tap @ Perennial. Pour is deep brown with an off-white head. Notes of thinmint cookies, cocoa, peppermint, cinnamon, and slight booze.
3.6When you want a chocolate fix with some strong mint, this is your beer. Too much mint is the main problem. You need lots and lots of beer buddies. Black, high quality.
4.0Bottle at joe's. Pours black, nose is caramel, chocolate, peppermint, roasted, taste is similar, little sweetness, creamy.
4.1Swietny aromat czekolady z nutka miety. Smak dosyc slodki, lekko palona kontra, full czekolady z mieta. Nie lubie tego polaczenia ale tutaj fajnie zagralo.
3.7Sampled at Billies craftbeerfest 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Don't mind my visual info to much, as lighting was really terrible. Pours black, medium sized head. Smell is minthy. Taste is minthy, full, roasted, good MF. OK Carbo.
3.9UT021217. Sample from bottle at Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017, Antwerp. Nose is Minth chocolate. Toothpast, coffee. Medium to heavy bittersweet. Long roasty medium to heavy bitter. Full body oily flat carb. 846516
4.0@ BCBF 2017
Herbal and fresh aroma. Nice roast there, moderate bitterness. Cinnamon and a hint of mint. Great balance. Cacao and licorice candy.
4.5(Thank you!) 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. Pure black oil. Nose is RIS molasses sludge with great hazelnut & praline profile. Taste is molasses ooze, pralines, boozy finish, big hazelnut, also minor weird low varnish harsh note in the finish? The alcohol presumably, minor note, really amazing otherwise. Pure syrup body. Loved it.
3.6On tap at Whichcraft Brewing with Joe and Dan. A oily black colored pour with a a fine tan head. Aroma is is big peppermint and chocolate. Flavor is composed of spicy minty, choc, and peppermint toothpaste. Dark choc. Palate is medium full, bodied, moderate carbonation.
3.5Pours deep brown with a slight tan head. Minty, chocolate, thin mint like aroma and taste.
Notes: on tap at the brewery, Nov ‘17
4.5Tasted from a 750ml bottle. It poured an opaque brown with a frothy brown head leaving minimal lacing. Roasted malt and mint-coco nose with a creamy delicious thin mint taste. This bad boy is right in my wheelhouse. A cross between an awesome brew and desert. Bravo! If you love Girl Scout "thin mints" and chocolate stouts, don't let the price tag discourage you. Just enjoy! 🎼I'm making love all night long,
Take a bath in milk, and lay on your satin sheets. Laughing smiling, (oh oh) Lay a while in, (oh oh) Chocolate mint, candy sweets🎶
3.6Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017 - Red Session
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, peppermint, after eight, coffee and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long peppermint, chocolate, coffee and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3.9Really aggressive dessert beer. Thick and black with a heavy tan head. Aroma of mint and chocolate and the taste follows suit. Really boozy, licorice and dark bitter chocolate.
