3.5Marrone scuro riflessi rosso mogano leggermente velata. Aroma complesso, caffè, zucchero di canna, vaniglia ciliegie sotto spirito arancia amara. Gusto debole, caffè, tostato legno, agrumato, acidulo. Poco Luppolata. Corpo debole Carbonatazione importante astringente. Nel complesso equilibrata e piuttosto armonica
3.0Bottiglia.
3.6Bottle from Belgiuminabox.
Pours a very dark brown colour with a reddish hue and a large thick creamy beige head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, caramel, chocolate, molasses and hints of liquorice. Tate has more of the same notes as the aroma with a little more liquorice and brown sugar coming through on the finish. Also getting woody notes. Medium to full body with a fairly smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel. Pretty good better than average Dubbel.
3.4Enjoyed: Poured from bottle into chalice/trappist glass.
Appearance: Black colour, reddish reflection, dirty-white creamy head.
Aroma: Malt, chocolate, alcohol.
Palate: Light body, gentle carbonation.
Taste: Roasted malt, sweet chocolate, caramel, later comes some bitterness and coffee in aftertaste.
Overall impression: Nice, good for enjoyment, it’s a pity that aroma isn’t stronger.

Nice bronze colour about it; holds a dense beige head.
Decent aroma - toasty malt, treacle, plums, prunes, touch of dried cherry maybe, earthy peppery spice.
Full body upfront, slightly syrupy, high carbonation.
Slight roasty, toasty malt character, burnt toffee, plums and dark cherry. Drying finish, rather savoury, firm bitterness a bit higher than usual for the style.
Bit rough around the edges to be fair.
3.2Brown with good fine foam and lacing.
Nose. Caramel, dried fruits, plums, weakly roasted malt.
Taste. Dry, notes of caramel, dried fruit, bitterness. The finish is roasted notes and wood.
2.5Dubbel pas terrible. Manque de structure et de caractère. Bu à Rebecq avec le papounet Guiseppe
3.4330 ml bottle. Pours dark brown with pretty reddish tints with a light brown foam. Aroma some raisins and fresh plums. Taste sweet, chocolate, fruity, dry finish.
3.1Brown body with a big foamy and persistent tan head. Aroma is malty and fruity. Taste is sweet, fruity. Mild warm alcoholic finish. Medium body soft carbonation thin to oily texture.
1.6This is a beer with no hops notes. A bit caramelly and roasted flavor. Dark brownish in color. I expected more aroma for a dark beer.
3.533cl bottle. Pours deep brown with beautiful reddish reflections and fine light brown foam. Aroma is malty, some caramel, but also a little red fruits, figs. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, with a delicate bitterness. Final is slightly long.
3.4Bottle Dark reddish brown colour with a medium foamy tan head, nose is yeasty, malty, roasty and fruity with notes of toffee, banana, coffee and dark dried fruits, taste is sweet, roasty, malty and fruity with a dry finish, body is relatively light considering the abv.
3.9AROMA: Ésteres a ciruela negros altos, alcohol dulce medio-alto.

3.9A top notch dubbel, the raisiny plum-like yeast contribution is perfect. The aroma has an ever so slight smoke character, it is all balanced and clean. Online belgian beer factory
3.2Pours a dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of dark fruits and caramel. Smooth soft texture. Mild flavors of dark fruit. Tastes like prune juice. Finishes smooth with a lingering prune aftertaste. Not bad but not as good as I expected.

3.4Clear ruby color with tanned head. Aroma has caramel, ripe fruits and spices. Taste is malty sweet with long sweet and a little bitter aftertaste. Flavors of dark malt, bread, ripe fruits and spices.
3.4330ml brown glass bottle drunk at home on a windy August evening. Pours thickly opaque chestnut with a brief head, some lacing but no visible rising carbonation. Aromas of stewed fruit, molasses and marmite. In the mouth, medium carbonation, some sweetness throughout, mild bitterness, no sourness, thick frothy texture, flavours of burnt caramel, molasses, roast nuts before a clean dry finish with a touch of lip-smacking sugar into the aftertaste. A bit bland by Dubbel standards, but exceptionally drinkable.
4.1Petrus Dubbel 7.0%. Dark Ruby, dark fruit and molasses aroma, medium bodied, dark malt, dark fruit, plum, raisins, nutty, spices. Christmas cake in a glass from Belgium 🇧🇪
4.0A dubbel for a summer night. Rich with hints of caramel and cherry. Not too strong and fruity for a dubbel. Low ABV. Pours fairly clear.
