This is a BIG beer. Mind Blowing ammounts of hops give this beer tons of flavour and aroma. Not for the faint of heart. The big mean cousin to the original Phillips IPA.

3.5Pretty good beer. Lacing. From a bottle. White head. Not too boozy. Would have it again.
3.7Pours a hazy yellow with a bit of sediment. Big tropical aromas and flavour. Taste of pine bitterness as well.
3.9aroma is piney and hoppy. flavor starts out malty, sweet, but it has a nice piney and hoppy finish. slightly bitter. pours copper with a thin white frothy head. had out of a tall boy can in whistler.
3.5650 mL bottle poured. Pours a hazy, snow globe golden color with a spinning active head. A ton of sediment in this for being a decently fresh IIPA. That’s cool. Extra flavor. Slightly metallic aroma with a citrus blast. Flavor is a citrus bitter, with a slight metallic, but overall a pretty good imperial. Has a bite to it. Interesting.
Bien!
3.7568ml can. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, slightly raw and skunky, some sweetness of candied fruits, bakery spices. Taste is slightly skunky and sweet, with tropical fruits bitterness. Strong piney bitterness aftertaste. Good one, but slightly "dirty" beer.
3.8Bottle into glass. Aroma of citrus and hops. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a good amount of head. Heavy bitter taste as is expected in a double IPA. Full bodied with slick texture and most definitely a bitter finish. For some reason the aroma wasn’t that great but other than that it was quite good.
3.8Orange pour with white head at hop in brewpub in Calgary. Very fruity and bitter. Citrus. Orange. Grapefruit. Not bad.
3.9650 ml in Phillips’ unusually-shaped, quickly-narrowing neck bottle, from Real Canadian Liquorstore, served in my Great Western 590 ml convex glass. Pours an orangey-amber shade with generous fine, slow carbonation and a smooth milky cap that holds together like dense, top-notch meringue. Loads of bright grapefruit, orange, and citrus with a side of fresh piney hop notes on the nose; on the tongue, juicy citrus and tree fruit in spades with only after-sip bitter touches. Smooth, silky, and clean-finished with that refreshing little bitterness to swipe the palate clean. A simple-profiled but smashingly enjoyable DIPA that even the hop-naïve can love.
3.8courtesy of fiulijn - pours a murky amber-orange beer with a little foam left; a solid hop presence showing notes of honey and caramel; full-bodied, sweet and fairly bitter; long hoppy finish of caramel, peaches and resin
3.9Bottle. Strong citrus lime aroma. Pours with a medium golden hue and big frothy white head. Powerful hoppy flavours with sharp notes of lemon and lime. Full bodied with a bitter finish with a warming alcohol feel as well. Good IPA.
4.8Pours a nice cloudy golden color with I nice white head. It has that thick double ipa aroma. Watch out taste buds. Very bitter and hoppy. A bit of tropical citrus with a grassy finish. This is one of my favorite double ipa’s.
3.3Smell of citrus. Golden colour, very high white head. Aroma of spruce, hops, grass. Bitter. Surprisingly not oily. Plentoful carbon.
3.5Bomber shared by Bvery. Hazy golden pour. Strong musty hop aroma. Interesting bitter flavor. Not bad.
3.5Bomber from Andrew - thanks! Rich resiny aroma with a bit of citrus. Big beer. Somewhat malty. Quite good.
3.5Hazy pale golden, big white head. Fresh aroma, some grapefruit, garden. Sparkling mouthfeel, medium bodied, slightly oily, long dry aftertaste. Flavour is very hoppy, but the load of hops is balanced with nice malts. Bitter, slightly hot. Rough around the edges but a good beer.
3.8Pours an amber-orange with a long lasting white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy and malty. Taste is bitter and surprisingly malty. Tastes very similar to an American IPA.
3.8Phillips Hop Circle IPA’s "big gnarly brother" pours with a rich and frothy white head over a dark gold base. There’s a strong but not overpowering hop aroma that also includes elements of lemon. The company claims a mind-blowing amount of hops went into this, and while there’s certainly a strong bitterness, it’s not mind-blowing. There are hints of pine and citrus along with the hops. There’s a decent, mildly bitter finish. The shape of its 650-millilitre bottle is unique and adds to the visual appeal.
4.4Blonde claire. Forte amertume. Très résineuse. Sapin/épinette. Houblon juteux. Fruité. Pamplemousse. Orange/mandarine. Fkne chaleur d’alcool. Sèche. Très bien faite, j’adore.
3.8Something about double IPAs that just seems to do well. I’ve rated a couple and they usually rate high. This one is not exception. Golden-clear pour with a decent white head. Nose is all perfume, flowers and resin hops with a sweeter underlying note. The taste is a decent mix of hops flavours with some of the aforementioned perfume and flowers making an appearance, some bittering hops with a mildly acerbic and chalkiness? to the finish that isn’t unpleasant. Overall a good brew. Also it’s nice to see Canadian micro-brews not from Ontario make it to shelves of those controlling d-bags at the LCBO.
3.6pours clear very light golden with a solid creamy white head offering very good retention and lacing. very danky aroma, lots of melons, dusty mangoes, very fruity and unfortunately too sweet for my liking - honey, barley and fruit sugars - pale doughy if not sweet maltiness with some caramel atop; grass, herbs and spices. light carbonation, medium to full body - oily and almost syrupy, slightly harsh grassy-herbal-dusty-resinous finish. o-k.
3.6Bottle 650ml.
Pours golden with high off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is of nuts, sesame oil, resin, vegetal stuff. Taste is of herbs, strong bitterness, pine, some earth. Palate: Full bodied. Soft-medium carbonation. A tad harsh? Overall: Good, but quite bitter (probably too much).
3.5Bottle shared by czar, thanks bro! Pours a clear golden with a medium white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of perfume, soap, tropical fruits and grass. A bit synthetic (perfume, soap) you might say but it did work somewhat well together. Taste is not too sweet and pretty bitter (medium-high level I would say, a bit harsh). Flavors are more of the perfume with some resin, not the best experience ever but still drinkable. Body is medium, carbonation low to moderate. A good beer overall but I won’t seek again.
3.5Light hazy golden-orange colour with a pillowy light creamy large white head with good lacings. Aromas of citrus peel, grapefruit and hints of pineapple & apricots arise with notes of caramel, pine and hints of damp forest soil. Softly carbonated with a light slick texture with a pronounced hop bitterness underpinned by a solid malt base keeping the bitterness well in check, bringing things into harmony. Medium bodied the fruity flavours are dominant, drying out on the palate. Long finish.
3.3From LCBO, drank in Ottawa. Clear dark golden pour, no fizz, minimal white head, wet sticky legs. Smells of hop, pepper, spicy red malt, butterscotch, peach, apricot. Tastes of wet bitter earthy hop, caramel malt, spice. Body is very oily but crisp, spicy dry bitter finish. Bitter peppery and malty but still not as big as expected for a DIPA.
3.4Bottle from LCBO had at Ottawa. Clear golden amber pour. Aroma is mostly juicy hops over sweet bready malt. Taste is pretty big fruit then grassy hops, then a bit of that plasticky taste, and a malty finish. Not that big for a DIPA but not bad. A little too much resin/grass - not as polished.
4.1ENG: 650ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg. Poured into a glass. Color is slightly cloudy (but I think that’s normal for the style) and yellowish-gold. Almost white, dense foam of tiny bubbles, which disappeares not so quickly. Aroma of pineapple, lemon, lime, ginger, spicy hops. Hoppy taste of herbs and quite advanced lemon and sweet grapefruit flavor right after. There is no real huge bitterness in it, it’s quite subtle as for Double IPA. Could be a bit more, because now it tastes too balanced I think. The ending is more bitter with hint of orange and pepper in the aftertaste. You can barely say this is a 8,5% alc beer. Tastes really good and is easy drinking, which can be good; or bad when in bigger amount ;) Very good beer overall, will come back to it for sure.
PL: Butelka 650ml z Liquor Mart Winnipeg, przelana do szkła. Kolor mętny ale bez dużych fusów (drobne, jednolite zmętnienie raczej normalne dla stylu), dość jasno żółto-złociste piwo. Piana obfita niezbyt szybko zanikająca, niemal biała o drobnych bąbelkach. Aromat ananasa, limonki, cytryny, przypraw, chmielu, trawiasty, nieco imbirowy.
3.1Can. Clear golden pour, with a white head. Citrus, grapefruit, sweet sugar, caramel, cardboard, and pine. Meh.
3.5650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a hazy orange colour with nice head. Aroma is citrus, herbal, floral. Taste is citrus, hops. Pretty good.
