3.4 Lightly hazy gold with a large frothy head. Mostly pine and citrus with some earthy and grainy notes.
3.6 Draft. Great IPA, general amber pour and standard caramel / pine resin hop aroma profile but balanced nicely. The taste is also nicely balanced. Some citrus notes throughout.
4.2 One of my favorite IPA’s. Surprisingly subtle aroma for it’s taste with minor notes of caramel, grass and spruce/pine. Pours clear, deep golden-brown in color with medium body and tasteful bitterness. Slick, yet lively on the palate with a long finish in which you can still taste it’s hoppy essence several minutes later. Beautiful.
3.2 Malty, vanilla, chocolate, sweet, creamy head, black color, smells like vanilla and malt
3.7 Pint poured at schanks. Pours an amber color with minimal head. Nice aroma; strong smell of flowers and citrus. Bitter aftertaste. I like it. Drinkable.
3.6 Clear yellow orange with a frothy white head. Aroma is floral, taste is floral and sweet with a bitter finish and a taste of caramel.
3.4 Can from Andrew - thanks! Very slightly hazy golden orange pour with a white head. Malty, citrus and a hint of pine. Medium carbonation. Not bad.
4.0 Translucent gold with many bubbles and a mid sized white head. Wonderfully fragrant aroma containing notes of malt, caramel, mango, pineapple, citrus, and marshmallows. Mid bodied and slightly creamy. Tropical fruit, caramel, and citrus are supplemented with a vigorous bitter finish. Fantastic.
3.2 a bit too piney for my tastes, strong, with hints of caramel & lemon. pine not as dominant in aroma, but still leading, with caramel & hint of maple..
3.0 341 ml bottle. Pours a clear, pale golden colour with a medium, frothy, off-white head that laces. Hoppy, citrus aroma with grass. Sweet flavour of citrus fruit, malt and pine with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation.
3.4 ENG: 355ml can from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the Teku. Light-golden to straw color, big, tan head and some lacing. Floral aromas with citrus notes. A bit skunky. Tastes fruity, floral, grassy, citrusy, with huge piney hoppy bitter. Bitter, piney, tarty aftertaste. Medium carbonation and low to medium body. Overall very drinkable, refreshing, hoppy IPA. PL: Puszka 355ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do Teku. Barwa jasno-złocista, nieco słomkowa, ogromna, jasna piana i nieco lejsingu. Aromaty kwiatowe, cytrusowe. Nieco skunksowe. W smaku owocowe, kwiatowe, trawiaste, cytrusowe, z ogromną sosnowo-chmielową goryczką. W posmaku goryczka, sosna, nieco cierpkie. Średnie nasycenie, niskie do średniego odczucie w ustach. Podsumowując bardzo pijalna, orzeźwiająca, mocno chmielowa IPA.
4.1 I thought this was a really nice IPA. Pours a Nice peach colour. Nice dank aromas. Notes of mango and papaya as well. Flavours are juicy and fruity before settling into a nice lasting bitterness that tastes very much like grapefruit. Very good.
3.2 Pours golden with some white head. A refreshing fruity aroma with hints of resin. Dery with a medium bitter finish.
2.5 Visual: Pours golden amber with suspended sediment, a small dissipating head, several small bubble steady streams. Nose: faint pine hopped malts, clean green (lvl-3)-pungency Attack: immediate bitter hops Mid-palate: (lvl-3)-sweetness, fizzy-crisp bite, (MAIN) piney hops, caramel malts, grassy, bitter peel Finish: very DRY, biting hopped bitterness. Summary: A very biting bitter hopped IPA with all pine and zero citrus. Not really my type of IPA, too sharp.
3.7 Bottle. Pours a clear straw color with a think foamy head. Aroma a bit light, but flavor of citrus and pine. Nice bitter finish. Very easy to drink, almost session like. Decent IPA.
3.3 On draft at the brewery. Golden orange pour, with a white head. Citrus, grapefruit, peppery, caramel malt, moderate bitterness, and mild sweetness. Decent.
3.5 Bottle. Golden amber colour, mostly clear with lots of tiny floating yeast, white head quickly dissipates. Aroma is zesty citrus and some light tropical fruit. Flavour is fairly bitter, citrus zest with some tropical fruit and grassy notes. A bitter but quite tasty IPA. A touch watery texture considering the ABV, but still lots of flavour.
3.6 Bottle into IPA. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour. Aroma is earthy pine and slight citrus. Taste is pretty much the same but with a little malt backbone. Pretty good IPA.-- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10
3.7 A big hoppy bastard that I always enjoy. Citrus and herbal notes. One of my go to IPAs
3.6 Bottle - 341ml. Golden body with good carbonation and a thin, lasting, white creamy/foamy head. Sharp hoppy aroma with grapefruit and lemon hints. Its sharp, robust, hoppy taste carries citrusy and herbal notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Enjoyable.
3.2 Aroma is hoppy and earthy. Nice hop flavours, a mid level of citrus and a malt backbone.
3.5 The Great BrewDad Victoria Pub Crawl - Amber in color clear with a thin head. Very tasty IPA.
3.8 Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy pale orange with a tight white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is strong pine with citrus, grass and toffee. Light sweet start with a big grapefruit bitterness to follow. Medium slick mouth with a long crisp dry finish. Excellent.
3.0 Originally rated March 2013. Nice to see the LCBO getting some West Coast IPAs (as this one and the one I tried last night from Green Flash). Pours a rich golden colour with a foamy-creamy head that has good retention and decent lacing. Nice fresh grassy hop aromas, but not just Cascades (as I do not get much grapefruit and the pine is mild). Mixed with other hops. After a while, the scent changes. Fruitier and sweeter, with caramel (and something else odd). For the taste, I am getting something weird. I am thinking it is the other malts with the Cascades that don’t mix well. On the vegetable side. Thankfully, some light bitterness shows up in the finish to take over. Not really a fan of this one (preferred the Green Flash IPA).
3.9 Bottle. Cool name, cool picture. Had to get it. Bought a six pack and drank the whole thing, it was a great session IPA. It was very well balanced with its malt and big juicy grapefruit hop flavour. It had just the right amount of bitterness all the way through and no big bitter kick at the end, so you could easily go back for more.
3.4 Bottle. Oranges and a hint of grapefruit. Medium body and a rather abrupt finish, An OK session beer. Overall: 13/20.
4.0 Cloudy Apperance, has a orange peel smell, goes down excellent. Leaves a nice aftertaste, with a bitter tinge.
3.7 Bottle. Clear amber pour with creamy offwhite head. Aroma has hints of both sweet malt and hoppy citrus although clearly dominated by the hops. Taste has nice bitterness and is nicely balanced. Ends dry
3.4 Bottle from Asahiya, a cloudy honey gold. Hoppy nose with a pine cone aroma. It is medium bodied, with a minty pine & malty caramel taste, good stuff
3.3 Aroma :citrus, grass and clove aromas Taste :very over powering bitterness. ...overshadows any malt character Appearance: semi - cloudy body with frothy head that retains well
