Pinkus Jubilate Bier

Pinkus Jubilate Bier

Pinkus Jubilate is a dark, bottom-fermented full beer. Pinkus Jubilate is brewed from barley and fine Weizenbraumalz from controlled organic cultivation. The hops come from organically farmed hop gardens in the Hallertau and Tettnang near Lake Constance. After a careful brewing process, using premium brewing water Pinkus Jubilate matured during a long and cold storage time in the cellars of the brewery up in peace and a mild spicy beer. Then the beer is gently filtered and bottled in returnable bottles and kegs.

2.7 Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of caramel malt, with notes of yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with dusty notes and touches of caramel malt. Rough aftertaste. Something between an Altbier and a Dunkel. Okay but nothing special.
2.9 Clear, dark copper. Frothy, offwhite head. Aroma has malt, butter. Mellow, malty flavour. Light, spicy and dusty finish.
3.0 rich malty aroma, Light caramel taste, that deepens slightly in time, dark amber colour. Head dissipates quickly. Rciher (and better) closer to room temperature. Flavour is closed if too chilled.
2.2 0,5L bottle. Pours clear redish copper with off-white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sour, sweet, caramel, bread, grains. Flavor is similar to nose. Body is watery. Overall: not good.
2.7 Shared by martjoobolut, thanks! Dark copper beer, beige head. Watery, grainy nose, sweetness, honey. Flavor is caramel, bread, water, grain. Some bitterness in the finish. Crude and too watery for me.
3.0 Pours a clear deep amber color with a tan head that holds pretty well. the smell is roasted malt, caramel, brown sugar, fruit and spice. The taste is follows the nose with a somewhat dry and roast finish. light+ body with fairly active and slightly prickly carbonation. Pretty nice brew.
3.7 Pours a dark brown. Opened a bottle at a psu tailgate with my dad. Taste is smooth and malty with a bready yeasty note. Finishes nicely
2.9 Slightly fruity with a malty citrus zing. Red/amber color with a tan head. Poppin’ floral malt on the tongue with a drying after taste.
2.2 A darker than pale ale beer, perhaps dark iced tea. No head and it smells a little like old lager. Perhaps not as smooth as it could be, does need some manners if it wants to be a dunkel or even a dark lager. Pretty good sizzle but A little rude-ish at times. However, tries not to go over the top. Finish medium mild old lager. Not real excited about this one. Giving this a ten overall is playing sanny claus.
4.4 Mein absolutes Lieblingsbier. Man will immer noch eins.
3.9 Bottle, danke Günther. Beautiful chestut colour with brown froth. Berrylike (blueberries, raspberries), spicy (enebær) and roasted grain aroma. Chewy medium body, soft bready mouthfeel, light sparkles. Fresh fruity base, good malt bottom, aromatics retronasal. Quick berry finish. really very very nice.
3.3 This is an okay dunkel. Roasty, some caramel and nuttiness in the aroma. Pours dark amber with a thick head. Medium bodied.
3.0 Dark amber/cider color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of toasted sweet malt, caramel, & some toffee; Flavor of slight roasted sweet malt, caramel, light hops, and some fruit; Overall, a little thin - but decent.
3.0 The color of this beer is cloudy deep copper with a large off-white head that fades to a thin layer on top, and the aroma combines the scents of sweet bread malts, slight clove, and a hint of soured fruit. The taste is quite sour and slightly sweet, and the palate combines a thin and slick texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish, and a light body.
2.9 I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Though the texture leaves much to be desired, there is a great aroma and some nice flavor here. Roasty, bitter hops and some fruity goodness that is a brew better than I thought it would be.
2.2 Bottle. Copper red, clear. A bit sourish apple raisin nose. Body is light, caramel, apples, malt. Strange. I dont think the apple is intentionally there, its more like a vinous off flavour. -- bb/h(n9)
3.5 Dark brown pour. Small off white head. Little lacing. Coffee aromas. Some dried dark fruit. A molasses note with malt coffee and the same fruit in the nose. Good. A slight metallic note in the back.
2.8 This closer to altbier than their altbier(Pinkus Munsterisch Alt) was. Some malt notes in the aroma and taste, minus the dark coffee bitterness of a Bavarian dunkel. Color is clear brown with short creamy beige head. Not sure if I would put this in the dunkel category or notm especially as it’s from Dusseldorf area.
3.1 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy brown with a finger of off-white head. Good retention and essentially no lacing. Aroma is malty, nutty, caramel, alcohol. Flavor is sweet up front, malty and nutty, finishes malty and wheat/oat, hints of roasted tones. Strong malt throughout. Moderate carbonation, light body, and watery texture. Enjoyed the aroma and flavor but not the mouthfeel. A pretty tasty and very drinkable dunkel.
3.4 Bottle pours dark brown with a retentive light tan head. This one is the organic export variety. Aroma is burnt caramel. Taste is rich, charred malt, almost like a stout. Some brown sugar. Smooth palate and a refreshing finish.
3.3 Bottle from Five Points Bottle Shop (Lumpkin) in Athens. Sweet roast malt aroma. Dark copper/oranage color. Sweetish, caramel initial / mild hops emerge in mid, giving some balance / smooth but bland finish. Thin body. Good enough, but quite restrained in all aspects. Maybe a decent session beer. This is nowhere nearly as good as their wheat beers.
2.9 Mild malty nose. Pale beige head. Dark copper color. Sourish malty taste. Not very tasty. Slightly caramel and mild hops.
2.6 From bottle to glass. Burnt sugar aroma, sort of like what you get off a creme brulee. Very malty and sweet smelling. Appearance is amber with a tan head. I’d call this one a sweet one relative to the German wheat and lager that I usually do. Very thin and smooth as hell. Overall, OK.
2.2 Dark copper brown clear pour off white head. Very sweet malty aroma. Cherry notes. Very sweet malt caramel. Not really very good but it might be a bit old.
2.6 This beer is ok it was mild and not hoppy nor was it goodnon the malt flavor just ok.
1.8 Poured from a 500ml bottle into an English pint glass. Pours a lighter brown color with a thick head of light beige foam. Acceptable lacing. The aroma is weird. Its cheesy and lemony, with a touch of vanilla. It really doesn’t smell very appealing. Taste is really odd. Its overly sweet and has a sort of repulsiveness that tries to mask itself as palatable. After several sips, it isn’t gettting any better. This one is going down the drain.
2.7 Bottle shared with McTapps, What is that ? A Dunkel ? A Dunkles Weizen ? Hard to say. Dark malt dominating in look and taste. Nothing special at all. Just drinkable.
2.9 Bottle from bottle shop nearby and shared with MichaelBruch. Unclear dark brown in colour with low head. Taste of sour milk in a coffee, sun-burnt grass and green nuts. Some light taste of Doppelbock although it only has 5,3 % alc ;-)
