Our pale ale is a perfect blend of whole leaf Chinook and Mount Hood hops and rich organic malts. A crisp, clean profile make this beer distinct.

3.5Shaker pint draft at Intermezzo in Charlotte, North Carolina. The pour is a hazed orange copper with a ½ inch light tan head. The aroma is orange and grapefruit citrus, a bit of citrus peel and toasted grain malt. The taste is a nice blend of the softly bitter citrus and the toasted cracker malt. Clean and fresh. The palate is medium to light bodied with active carbonation and a dry mildly bitter finish. Nice Pale Ale.
3.5Can from comrade Chris from his Carolina trip...thanks!
Pours a darker orange; aroma is fresh hay; mild hoppy on the tongue / nose; lingers a little; very pleasant....
3.6Tap. Cloudy amber tan color. Aroma of grapefruit. Awesome balance of slight citrus and mild caramel malt. Smooth unfiltered textured. Closest thing to Georgetown Manny’s pale ale I’ve found.
3.4Draft at Wallys wedding! Pours a deep hazy Amber with thick white lacing. Mouthfeel is medium With notes of soft pine hops, bitter grapefruit and light caramel malt.
3.4Draft pint at Luella’s Bar-B-Que in Asheville, NC; hazy copper-amber color with very light tan head. Aroma notes of citrus/floral hops, some tropical/grapefruit notes with toasty malt balance. Taste adds grass bitterness, some citrus zest, faint dry fruits and grainy malt sweetness. Medium-light body, moderate-low carbonation, dry, tad crisp with some lingering fruity/citrus finish. Overall pretty nice APA, went well with my BBQ platter.
2.6Pisgah Pale Ale is a richer copper colored ale that is a bit hazy. Nose is very faint citrus and grass. The taste is slightly sweet malt with a bit of grass flavor. Body is a bit thin. Overall very drinkable but somewhat unremarkable.
2.8Draft. Amber body with an off-white head. Aroma of raw, dusty grain, citrus, floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light on flavor except for the grainy malts.
2.9Keg at Mamacitas, Asheville, 17/02/15.
Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering.
Nose is pale malt, melon, light orange, a little thin overall.
Taste comprises light citric peel, melon, light bread, grassy tones.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so - a pretty muted affair lacking hops and indeed direction!
2.9Can. Amber colored ale. Floral hop aroma and taste. Bitter long finish. Ok w curry.
3.4Location: Draft at Cúrate, 1/3/15
Aroma: It has some citrus/grapefruit, a little orange, caramel, and some toast/grainy malts
Appearance: It pours a hazy amber-golden color with a small off-white-to-beige colored head
Flavor: The taste is along the same lines as the nose, a little sweet, with a nice, clean bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, leans a hint light, with a pretty good drinkability to it
Overall Impression:
I enjoyed this one overall. It is nothing too amazing, but it is pretty good. Definitely something I could see drinking regularly if it’s one of few around, but not something I’d seek out on a more in depth menu.
3.4Can, gold pour with white head, nose and taste are both citrus and hoppy, all around great pale
3.1[6625-20140815] Can. Fresh apricot peach aroma. Slightly hazy, pale orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter apricot fruity flavour. Medium body. Meh. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

4.0A very nice pale ale. It has a very nice head and a good hop aroma. Excellent mouthfeel for abv perfect carb, sweetness and alchol. A nice brew in general Almost like a tea with a kick excellent Pale ale maybe a best?
3.5Draft pour at Curate in Ashville. Waiter said its by far his favorite beer so the bar was set high. Which made it let me down a little. Cloudy dark orange. Not much aroma. Has a dank apricot and bitter fruity taste. It's good.
3.2Aroma: light on the power of aroma. Smells a bit like fresh cut grass
Appearance: cloudy deep orange to light brown color. Minimal head at the top of the beer
Taste: bitter after taste that's complexity hits you a couple seconds after you sip. Delicious hop flavor.
Palate: medium body with a thin texture. Almost no carbonation but the beer isn't flat. Bitter finish like a traditional pale ale but not over powering like traditional hop focused ales.
Overall: very surprised to find out this beer is organic. Great refreshing Pale Ale with a crisp finish that will have you craving another!
3.12014-08-15. Orange body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma is cereally, mild hops. Flavour is lightly bitter, with a toasty cereally malt core. Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Okay, on the mild side. Can at Campground Brewdown
3.1More sweet and malty than I expect from a pale ale. Don’t know if the hops faded away or just were never really there.
3.4Poured an orangish color with aromas of hops, grain and a touch of apricots. Flavors match the aroma. Decent beer overall could be my every drinker if I lived closer.
3.2On tap at the Yacht Club. It poured a hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of caramel, lightly toasted grain, floral and citrus. The taste was of citrus hops, light pine, caramel and some toasted malts.
3.2Draft to taster at Pisgah. Looks good; a fairly transparent deep golden orange with foamy off-white head. Smells and tastes of hops and pale malt with a touch of grain on the tongue. Average on the palate. A solid no-frills APA.
4.8Pours a hazy honey golden with a fairly thick golden buff head. Rich aroma has equal parts malt and hops, with a hint of honey. Flavor floods the palate with sweet malt, woody and resiny hops, fresh-from-the-hive honey, and pomme fruit - I got a hint of apricot in there. Texture is firm and fizzy, leaving a woody hop finish. If this is not the best pale ale I have ever had the privilege to get on the outside of, it is certainly one of the top five!
3.7Had as part of flight at Juicy Lucy’s. Will make a point to try at source. This is one of the beers that got me into craft beer in the first place. Now it is just a solid pale- nothing special, but really drinkable. Pours nice orange color with decent head. Malt and hops on the palate- not leaning one way or the other. Caramel, grass, citrus, toffee, bread, orange. Pretty balanced if a bit boring. Different hop profile from the usual adds interest. Solid.
4.0Can from wine 101 in wf nc. Great pale ale. Best parts of this beer are it's orange brown appearance and it's straight from the brewery smell. It's smell really makes you think you are sitting at the brewery.
4.0Opaque copper colored body with off-white head. Sweet toffee & biscuity aromas. Caramel, bread, toffee up front with dry hoppy bitter finish
3.3Can. Orange color, tan head. Hops, citrus, grass in the nose. Taste is maltier than i would have expected. Smooth, easy to drink. Thicker than it should be. Nit bad though.
1.7It’s alright, I’ve had better. The malt and hops overpowers the palate. Smooth but has a bitterness.
3.2Draft taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, bright gold with an off-white head that leaves a sheet of lace in the glass. Notes of pale and sweet malts, grass, straw, and light fruits. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Decent, straightforward pale ale.
3.4On tap at Pisgah during RBWG. Nitro version. Mostly clear orange amber color. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Nice creamy super smooth nitro texture. Light to medium body. Good light citrusy hop, good toasty malt, light caramel. Solid nitro pale ale.
3.3Keg @ Barley’s during the RBWG opening ceremonies. Gold with a small head. Light citrus on the nose. Light pale malt. Similar flavors. Some angel food cake, lemon. Pale malt, cereal. Light body, soft carbonation. Easy drinking. Overall, solid.
2.9On tap at Pisgah. Pours a golden color with white head. Citrus, hoppy, sweet malty backbone flavors. Average pale ale.
