Brown color, small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, grain, nuts. Sweet lightly dry taste with mild hoppy bitterness in finish. Thin body and medium carbonation. Nice bock beer, pleasant taste and easy to drink.
Pours strong amber colour with medium beige top, quickly diminishing. Colour is more of an amber beer than of a doppelbock to be honest. Aroma is strong sweet malts, bread and chestnut honey. Very pleasant. Taste is very full, low carbonation and nicely balanced between sweetness upfront and sour aftertaste in the end. A very pleasant beer.
Old rating from 06-08-16 - A 330ml bottle my wife brought back from Croatia for me. Pours a clear reddish brown with a two finger light tan head. Aromas of malt, caramel, roasted nuts, fruits & hops. Tastes is also malty with caramel, roasted nuts, red fruits & bread with a sweet malty caramel finish.
33 cl. bottle at home. Bought at Fish-n-Beer Copenhagen. Mediumhigh creamy lasting off-white head. Hazy brown body. Lovely malt straw caramel aroma. Malt straw dominated flavor with some caramel on top of it. Fair amount of hops bitterness, low carbonation, long sweet finish. Well balanced with an alcohol level that is nicely disguised.
Butelka kupiona w Chorwacji. Kolor ciemnobrązowy, piana mała. Aromat raczej delikatny. Słodkawe, ziołowe, trochę palonego, czuć alkohol. Jak dla mnie przeciętne.

Full bodied, medium carbonation, creating a shortly sparkling than smooth mouthfeel. Strong caramel flavors along more fruity notes of plum and candied apple.

Bottle. Color of dark amber, unfliltered, has a medium white head. Caramel nose with a hint of black bread. Pleasant strong taste of caramel, bread and dried fruit. Medium body with smooth bubbles. Fair aftertaste. Overall its good, but i prefer more body in unfiltered dark beer, still a very good choice.
Mahognyfärgad med fint vitt skum. Doftar malt, lite torkad frukt och svamp. Smaken fyllig, söt, lite rostad malt och choklad. Eftersmaken lång, maltsöt, farinsocker och karamell, lite värmande alkohol på slutet.

Butelka z datą przydatności 16.10.2019. Barwa jasnej miedzi, wysycenie średnie, piana nieduża. Koronka minimalna. W aromacie i smaku mocno słodowo, są nuty herbatników, karmelu i trochę nut chlebowych. Całość ok, ale intensywność mogłaby być większa.

Tamno amber prema smedjoj boji, tanka bijelo-smedja pjena, kratkotrajna. Arome sušenog voća, alkohola, blago likera i karamela. Blage gorčine, značajno slatko. Kratak sladak finiš. Kremaste teksture, slabe karbonizacije.

Taste comprises fruit loaf, caramel, dates, fruit rinds, brown bread.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boozey rise.
Ok bock.
Beer has dark brownish ruby red colour and it's not so foamy. Look is not very bright because it's unfiltered. Smell is pleasant and taste is strong. Aroma is dark and heavy with long lasting aftertaste. One of the best dark beers I've tried, highly recommended.
