2.925/1/2022. Bottle courtesy of Marek, cheers. Pours clear pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of grain, grass, citrus, sweet malt, bread, yeast. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Fair enough pils.
2.6Bottle from Beer 52 and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Well not a terrible aroma. Flavour reminds me of French or Belgian lager in 33cl bottles. Some bitterness on the finish. Yep OK but I wouldn't want too many.
3.9Bold and bright golden colour. Luscious head. Aroma is mostly bread. Taste is oat, barley, and toast. Finish is malty and bitter. Nice.
3.2Bottled, 330ml as Golden Bear Pils, from Beer52, Edinburgh. Gold with foamy white head. Quite heavily carbonated giving a tricky pour. Quite a simple lager beer, malt lead, bread-crust notes, barley grain, quite biscuity. Easy on the palate, although the carbonation is retained throughout. Some grassy hopped notes. It's okay.
3.4Golden pour with a lively froth but soon fades, some retention. Aroma is crisp and clean some barley notes. Flavour crisp, gentle and clean. Nice bitterness and easy drinking!
2.0From Beer52, 330ml bottle had at home, an average larger.
3.0Bottle, from Beer52 (as The Golden Bear). Faintly hazy gold, tight and sustained white head and moderate condition. Pleasant grainy nose with a slight honey sweetness and a touch of woody vanilla. Soft and clean in the mouth with a gentle honey sweet grain note, a chalky bitterness and a hint of peppery spiciness. Finish is clean and sweet with a muted but lingering earthy bitterness.
3.0I'm not that keen on pilsners, but it's nice.
3.4Bottle from Beer 52. Tangerine mixed with bubble gum and hints of malt in the aroma. Pours golden yellow with a sizeable bubbly white head that lasts a while. Starts off grainy in the mouth with a creamy and yeasty texture, but then underlying sweetness comes through to dominate. Corn with hints of orange and lemon. Not overly complex, but nice and refreshing.
3.1Lively pils that’s pretty yeasty and tasty but not overly memorable. Lemon, floral, a light maltiness. Ok.
3.1Bottle from Beer52, deep gold with a fast-settling head and a corny, dry-grassy nose with a touch of lemon. Malty-sweet with a drying edge and a bitter finish. Feels rather like a Svetly Lezak 12.
3.9Bottle from beer 52. Oldest and biggest Croatian brewery apparently. Pours pilsnerny. Yellow a little fizzy, very thin lacing head. Aroma is grassy , taste is solid , well rounded cereals, and malt , good body , shortish finish, which is a balanced cereal sweetness with a touch of bitterness. Really solid, surprisingly so.
3.9Bottle from Beer52. Poured bright and gold with a thick white foam. Surprisingly strong nice hop aroma, sweetish malts and a thick spicy hop flavour with firm bitterness. I thought this was pretty good, although I appear to be alone in being able to differentiate it from other lagers…
3.333cl bottle (as The Golden Bear) from Beer52: BB 4th May 2022. Drank while visiting relations in Devon (Matt & Amy) on 13th Aug 2021. Golden pour, white head that tried to stay around for a while. Both the nose and taste were malt driven with a citrus hint, nothing to set it aside from thousands of beers within this style, but I enjoyed it!
3.4330ml bottle from Beer52.
Light cloudy gold with moderate sized white head, nice lasting top.
Grainy malt aroma with light grass and spice notes.
Taste has a sweet clean grain taste, grassy hop and light zest finish.
Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation.
Good solid pilsner.
3.3Bottle. Pours a dark gold colour with a fluffy white head, light hop aroma, the taste is medium bitterness and with a dry bitter finish.
3.0Golden pour. Lovely malt aroma with hints of pepper and citrus. Soft flavour of malt and very slight sweetness. Nice bit of bitterness.

3.2Bottle via Beer 52 sub. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma: cereal, grain, bread. Taste: light sweet & bitter, soft, cereal, grain, bread, a little yeasty. Light to medium body with soft carbonation.
3.9Nice light pilsner, slightly bitter
3.5Pours golden with a decent white head. Aroma is bread, cereal grain, yeast, lemon and white pepper. Light mouthfeel, soft carbonation and a touch of sweetness. Taste is cereal, yeasty, lemon and pepper. Dry medium bitterness on the finish. Crisp, refreshing well made pils.
2.8Bottle. Dark gold pour, with a foamy head. Deep, grassy hops. A touch of citrus. On the bitter side for a pilsner. Leaning toward the Czech side of pilsners. Perfectly fine beer, although for whatever reason didn't quite 'stand out', maybe not my favourite strand of hops, but certainly fine.
3.133cl bottle from Beer52
Medium white head. Clear golden pour. An easy drinking pilsner.
3.1Tight foamy white head stayed on a slowly carbonating pale amber body.
Grain, biscuit & malt aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp clean back.
Fruity, grain, cereal & lightly malted tastes with a tangy lightly hopped finish.
Decent Pils
3.3[33cl bottle of "Golden Bear" from Beer52.] A typical pils - straw coloured with a dense white head, medium carbonation; grass aroma; sweet grainy taste; and a bready finish with a touch of bitterness. Very drinkable.
3.1Bottle thanks to Roddy.
Appearance - golden with a decent sized white head.
Nose - bread and grassiness.
Taste - lemon, light biscuit and herb.
Palate - light bodied, decent bitterness on the finish.
Overall - decent.
2.6Pours golden with a pronounced top, white colour. Slowly dissipating and not very rich, full top. Aroma is somewhat mixed between a heffe and a sour finish. Not very welcomimg. Taste is quite empty and not comex, fresh with a sour aftertaste. Not convinced.
3.3500ml bottle pours a hazy golden color with a substantial white head that lasts. Aroma is skunky and grassy, with some biscuits and vegetables. Taste is sweet with a buttery flavor, but with a short dry finish. Body is light with average carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. This was quite drinkable, and although a bit odd, much more interesting than a typical pilsener.
2.633. cl. bottle at home. The beer flooded my table when I opened it so I guess it was heavily overcarbonated. Head high fluffy white lasting. Body. Clear yellow golden. Sweet malt aroma and flavor with la fair amount of hops bitternes. Short finish. Beer was bought at Fish-n-Beer Copenhagen.
3.1Golden body with white head. Aroma is malts cornfields biscuits. Taste is malts grains hints of caramel. Aftertaste is nice balanced. Nice one.
