Amber-colored top-fermented yeasty beer with lots of malted wheat. Sprtizy, light in taste with a lightly fruity aroma and pleasant, well-rounded hop notes.

3.7Can. Pours clear amber with a beige head. Clove, spice, wheat, banana. Good!
3.6Canned. Yellow gold pour. Lemon, wheat, bananas and Esthers. Pretty good example if the style
3.9Brownish copper pour, thin head. Nose is wheat and spice. Middle is chewy wheat bread, clove, light coco, banana, touch of woody earthiness. Finish is yeasty and malty. Nice dark wheat beer.
4.216oz can from Brewers Haven. Been a while since I've had a "real" German hefe, and its definitely not the wheat ales they try to pawn off as weizens in the USA. This is the real deal, no orange slice needed. Cloudy mahogany pour with a light beige towering head. Sweet malty aroma, cloves. Taste adds the banana and bubblegum flavors , brown bread, full and meaty. A bit on the sweeter side, but really top notch.
3.6Pours hazy mahogany with a three finger, light tan head. Aroma is banana, spice, roast and light caramel. Taste is caramel, moving to banana, clove and roast. Finish is the same. Excellent example of a hefe.
3.416 ounce can - Dark for a hefeweizen. Not the traditional straw golden color. The color is dark amber. Tastes of wheat malt. Finishes with banana and clove spice.
4.2Aroma is bananas/bubblegum and pungent fruit. The flavor is bubblegum, wheat and and a strong fruit/mild sweetness finish.
3.4Ganz eindeutig ein dunkles Weizen (auch wenn es einige Internetportale als helles Weizen führen). Sehr wohlschmeckend. Eher auf der süßen Seite. Malzig. Minimal röstig. Allerdings viel zu viel Kohlensäure. Das passt hier nicht. Weicher wäre besser.
3.0Bottle at home. Orange color, middle foam size. Good balanced beer. Drinkable and fits into style.
3.1Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours deep gold, very hazy, with fluffy and persistent white foam, medium grained. Aroma is fruity but delicate, and grainy. Body is average, with good carbonation, tickling your tongue. Taste is fairly sweet, with the banana feeling being most evident in the final.
3.2bottle bb 19:5/19ambrata torbida buona schiuma piuttosto persistente esteri banana leggera un filo metalica una leggera crosta di pane finale chiodo garofano
3.7Bottle 50cl. @home poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy medium amber, huge mostly lasting frothy off-white head, heavy lacing; aroma wheat malts, banana, light lemon, cloves, yeast; taste medium sweet, slightly bitter and a light acidity, yeasty; yeasty sweetbitter aftertaste, banana, lingering spicy bite; medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation; a fresh and well-balanced weizen, quite good.
4.6Many thanks for this beer to Mariusz. Genialne chyba jedno z najlepszych, a moze i najlepsze piwo jakie pilem.
3.9A weissbier with great body, and A very good taste. Absolutely one of my favorite beers.
4.0Bottle bought at the brauhaus 10.17, bbd 8 apr. 18. Cloudy livht brown with a big white head. Banana, esthers, ripe banana in the nose, green banana, fruity, a little bit bitter and esthers in the mouth. Full body, lively carbonation, long banana bread finish with some clove. Well-balanced and superb.
4.4Definitely one of the TOP3 Weißbiere/German whit beers. It is actually quite dry for German standards. Ayinger has stronger ester note but is sweeter.
3.2Bottle from Getränkefeinkost - murky dark golden color, with small head. carbonation is very high and a small minus. taste of wheaty malt, some banana, grainy, yeasty. bit metallic. Rather sweet. frish and crisp. medium dry finish. good.
3.6Draught. Unclear amber in color with a whitish head. Ripe banana and dark syrupy sweetness in aroma. Sweetish banana and bit of wheat in taste. Quite nice, even if this on the borderline to being too sweet.
3.5Tap @ William K, kurvi.
Poured deep amber color with a thick white head.
Aroma has ripe banana, clove and candy notes.
Flavor has wheat, sweet ripe banana, mild spicy notes. Sweet long finish with banana candy and wheat. Sweet but ok drinkability. Quite tasty.
3.4Tap (Stones, Helsinki)
Pleasant sugarpuffy wheaty aroma. Hazy straw, tight sticky head. Very full smooth palete, pleasant carbonation. Kinda boring wheaty sweet taste, honey, but it starts getting interesting about 30 seconds after you swallow - there’s a nice freshly baked bread there, and a lovely dry herbal bitterness. Maybe a bit too sweet, but a hugely drinkable hefe.
3.2Tap at Watering Hole. Nice fluffy white head. Light banana aromas with some fruity esters. A little thin on the palate, but easy drinking. A simple, straightforward hefe. A little boring, but OK.
3.8This is,overall,a very good wheat beer.Aroma & appearance are very high,but the taste,although good,falls a little below the top 2 mentioned categories.
Appearance is somewhere between a wheat beer and a dark wheat beer.I should drink this more often!
3.7Keg at spitfire. To dark to rate colour. Usual banana with added fruit. Sweet caramel and banana. Smooth finish. Tasty.
3.6(bottle) murky deep-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of bubble gum, sweet spices and unripe strawberries, slightly grassy, with a hint of kiwi and some yeast. flavour is mostly wheat, bubble gum and caramel, quite phenolic, with some light notes of banana and toffee. full-bodied with lively carbonation. much better than their weizenbocks.
3.3Keg at spitfire. Pours hazy amber, nose is banana, esters, floral, taste is dry, banana, toffee.
4.050cl bottle from Glug, Grainger market Newcastle, Served cool. Poured into a Weizen glass. Muddy brown with a huge off-white head. Big aroma, the usual banana, but also, a hint of strawberry. Banana and bubblegum flavours present and correct, also toffee, strawberry, and a hint of lactic parmesan sharpness. Best Hefeweizen for a while
3.9Flasche 50cl. Dunkel-trübes Weißbier, spielt optisch also in der Schneider-Weisse-Liga. Frisch, hefig, brotiges Malz, dezente Hopfung.
Kaum Herbe wahrnehmbar.
--> Ein klasse mild-rundes Weizenbier. Mild, süßlich-malzig und toll hefig!
