3.5Bottled 330ml.-Courtesy of Craft Room crew. Unclear orange/golden coloured, small white head, whiff of citrus in the nose. Moderate malty, lemony, spicy hoppy and notes of tequila with some light caramel. Interesting.
3.42nd Oct 2017: 330ml bottle at the monthly Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting, cheers Simon for this offering. Misty golden pour, white head. Tequila and perfumed nose, taste also had a Tequila feel to it. Don't like Tequila, but I enjoyed this.
4.1<> Tap at Zmogsala beer festival. Aroma: Zesty, white fruit, citrus, tequila. Appearance: Golden body, mediocre head. Taste: An agreement of fruity and tequila flavours, lots of white fruit, citrus, pineapple, low bitterness. Palate: Semi-sweet finish, low carbonation, medium body.
3.6Bottle. Misty amber-golden. Interesting aroma... Green tea, lemongrass, mint... Not really tequila-like? Taste...mint, lemon... Whoa.... More like tequilla feeling than taste, but great. Caramel, brown sugar finish. So different.
3.4330 ml bottle, bb. 13.4.2018. Pours a hazy, dark golden with a white head. Aroma of cereals, wheat, some oranges and grapefruits, flowers, lots of herbal, piny notes, wood - pretty interesting. Medium, watery body with a low carbonation, a light sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. Flavor of guava, pretty spicy, coriander, biscuit malt, some caramel, some lime and lots of tequila and woody notes. Pretty special and unique flavor.

3.7330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 17, courtesy of Simon. Pours a misty orange, small white head. Aroma is vibrant tequila, a little herbal / vegetal. Taste is sharp, a little metallic, floral hints, some lime and fruity zest from the IPA working in tandem with the tequila. If any beer would work with tequila barrel-aging it's probably this one.
3.7Sampled at Borefts Bier Festival 2017. Semi-hazy golden pour with a white head. Notes of citrus, lemon zest, tequila spices, oak.
3.3Share of a 330ml bottle at True Bearing Alehouse, Xiamen. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Floral fruity aroma with maybe hints of tequila. Sweetish taste. Thin finish.
3.7July 2017 - Bottle share at Mr Tipple 5K, Canary Wharf. Many thanks to Mr T. As 'Põhjala Cellar Series - Mutant Disco TQ'. Golden yellow orange, translucent and still, foamy off-white head leaves light lacing. Aroma is floral, pot pourri, boiled sweets and lime. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is biscuity malts, spicy, middle is quite flowery – elderflower moving to lavender. A tasty floral beer. (7-4-7-4-15=3.7)
3.5Bottle from Boxbeers. Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity, wood, light tequila and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 110917
Mocno cytrusowe, cytrynowe, ananasowe. W smaku znowuż dużo owoców, sokowatość. Nagazowanie niskie. Konsystencja średnio gęsta. Rzeczywiście czuć tequillę. Porządne.
3.5330ml bottle from Alko. BBE 13.04.18. Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of tequila, booze, wood, agave, lemon, wheaty yeastiness and hints of citrusy hops. Taste is sweetish, stingy and earthy with some wood, tequila, herbal hops, agave and hints of citrus and lemon. Finish is stingy, boozy and slightly citrusy with some wheaty yeastiness, tequila, agave and lemon. Interesting, but a bit unbalanced.

3.4Bottle at L42, thanks to Adrian. It pours deep golden – amber with a massive white head. The aroma is soft, perfumed, sweet, sticky, toasty grain, marmalade peach, apricot, kaffir lime and baked goods. The taste is crisp, dry, fairly bitter, perfumed, pithy, zesty citrus, stone fruits, apricot, persimmon, and some raw alcohol. Medium body and average carbonation. Pretty interesting stuff, but I am not sure the balance and drinkability is quite there.
3.7Bottle shared on Level 42 26/07/2017. Many thanks to Adrian Tipple for this one. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. 3.6Bottle shared with Zlotta and Koelschtrinker. Fast klare goldene Farbe, große weiße schaumkrone. Geruch ist kräftig hopfig, hefig, grüner Tee. Geschmack ist angenehm hopfig bitter, grasig, floral bitter, leicht holzig, toll.
3.4Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity and slightly grassy aroma of orange, passion fruit, mango and lemongrass. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, fruity-grassy taste of lemongrass, pineapple, some ginger and a touch of coconut, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, quite grassy and a bit warming finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!
3.2Sehr kräutriger, mild hopfiger Antrunk. Leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung, spritzig, Noten von Hefe, die Kräuternoten bleiben intensiv. Steigend hefig, dazu passend trocken herb. Gut. 10/10/9/10/9/10
2.8Bottle at Gambrinus Tartu. Hazy golden color white head. Perrume aroma. Bitter boozy taste dry finish.
3.7Citrus fruits, tequila, lemon soap, fragrant citrus fruits. Hazy gold, small, creamy, white head. Medium bitter. More bitter citrus fruits, tequila, oak, lemon, lime, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Alright IPA, if you’re into Tequila then this is for you. Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - sourced from Uba ja Humal, Tallinn.
3.4Bottle split at L42 thanks to the Adrian the Toblerone smugglah, 26/07/17.
Light haze on a golden pour with a decent off white head.
Nose carries a big floral hit, mandarin, sweet malts, freshly cut grass, melon.
Taste comprises citric tinged straw, floral notes, perfume, toasted grains, mellow tropical fruits.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness and very subtle barrel.
Bit of a damp squib, shippable but overly perfumed and lacking barrel characteristics ... barrel ageing a hoppy beer very rarely produces anything better than the base for me.
3.5Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Tipple. Pours mostly clear orange with a fine, creamy, white head. The aroma holds ginger, orange peel, pine needles. Medium sweet flavour with crusty bread, nips of honey, pine needles, hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with some spicy ginger, pale wood, pale crackers, zesty lemon. Interesting stuff. Not bad.
3.3Tequila beer cocktail not my thing, descent execution but I would definitely prefer some other beer style in these barrels.
3.50,3 litre Bottle, ordered from Systembolaget, Charlottenberg! Clear Golden, with little head. IPA with tequila aroma and after taste.
4.0330ml bottle. Hazy golden with a medium head. Citrus, tequila and yeast. Good!
3.828. 6. 2017, Že v redu Primož w/ Ico. Ljubljana. Bottled. Beer with a tequila twist to it. A bit citrusy but very well hidden ABV. Interesting mix of flavours.
4.0330ml bottle. Pours clear orange, bubbly white head, lace. Juniper, rosemary, bitter lemon, lemongrass, grapefruit in first aroma. After warming up few degrees, tropical fruits sweetness and resin hops. Also lots of gin next to tequila in aroma. Rosemary and more herbs in taste, grapefruit, resin, oak. Spicy, sweet tequila in aftertaste. Medium bodied, average carbo. So clean and good aroma, I love it. Complex beer and even better than previous batch, nice!
4.5Very nice foam, there was small lacing to the end. Hazy yellow colour. A lot of lemon, citrus, mango and tequila. Alcohol perfectly hidden, citrus taste, much of tequila flavours, Very carbonated. Medium bitterness is short.
3.60,33l bottle from Uba ja Humal. Hazy, golden beer with big natural white and long lasting head. Aroma has citrus, tequila, malts and yeast. Taste is much like white wine. There’s good amount of tequila. Also grass, citrus and light malts. Medium + body, medium carbonation. Interesting and not so typical IPA.
